Profil Kemampuan Membaca Peserta Didik Sekolah Dasar Di Provinsi Bengkulu

: The purposes of this research were to (1) comprehensively describe students' rea­ding comprehension achievement at Elementary Schools of Bengkulu Province usi­ng discourse standard that was usually used for the reading ability test, (2) discourse that was composed by researcher with local knowledge based mate­rials. This research was conducted in six elementary schools throughout Beng­­kulu Province. To obtain data, respondents were tested by using two rea­ding achieve­ment tests with a PIRLS standard and the non-standard test com­posed by the researcher. The research showed that reading ability of Bengkulu students are categorized as low. The average score of reading comprehension is only 30%. The result of non-standard test or the test composed by researcher indicated that stu­dents' reading comprehension ability score is 30%. The low level of reading com­prehension score based on the standardized test because of the material discourse is longer than that composed by the researcher. The reading materials that were usually used for the students instruction consisted of 200-250 words with the ca­tegory reading rates started from the easy to middle one

Teacher-made tests on Bahasa Indonesia subject for school examinations in public vocational high school of Bengkulu province

The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the use of operational verbs based on Anderson’s taxonomic cognitive domain on test items of Indonesian language exams in the public vocational high school in Bengkulu, Indonesia. This is qualitative in nature employing descriptive method as the research design. The data were obtained from test items of Indonesian language school examinations in a public senior vocational school which delivered to twelve graders in the academic year of 2019 with 45 questions in total. The data were documented and analyzed qualitatively. This turned out that operational verbs of the cognitive realm based on Anderson’s taxonomy are two items of remembering, two items of classifying, an item of summarizing, four items of inferring, an item of predicting, three items of interpreting, an item of executing, six items of analyzing, twenty items of selecting, two items of assessing, an item of checking, and two items of formulating which accounted for 24 verbs in total. PENGARUH TEMPERATUR PELAT-LANDASAN PADA JIG HOT-GAS WELDING DAN SUDUT V-GROOVE TERHADAP KEKUATAN TARIK SAMBUNGAN LAS HDPE SHEET

Proses pengelasan telah berkembang pesat saat ini, baik untuk material logam maupun non logam. Salah satu material non logam yang disambung dengan proses pengelasan adalah plastik. Pada saat ini penggunaan produk berbahan material plastik semakin meningkat, maka untuk proses pengelasan material plastik menggunakan metode Hot-Gas Welding (HGW). Diketahui bahwa dalam proses pengelasan konduktifitas material sangat mempengaruhi kwalitas sambungan las, semakin tinggi konduktifitas maka kwalitas hasil pengelasan akan semakin baik. Di sisi lain diketahui bahwa material plastik memiliki tingkat konduktivitas yang rendah, maka dalam proses pengelasan plastik tersebut akan menjadi kendala. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan studi untuk meningkatkan kwalitas sambungan las material plastik yang dikhususkan pada material HDPE, yaitu mengetahui pengaruh temperatur pelat-landasan pada Jig Hot-Gas Welding dan sudut V-groove terhadap kekuatan tarik sambungan las HDPE sheet. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan variasi temperatur pelat landasan 30°C, 70°C, 110°C, dan 150°C, sedangkan variasi sudut V-groove yang digunakan 40°, 60°, dan 75°. Standar uji tarik mengunakan standar ASTM D 638-03, sebagai data penunjang dilakukan foto makrostruktur dari masing-masing sambungan las. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh temperatur pelat landasan dan sudut V-groove berpengaruh tinggi terhadap kekuatan tarik lasan HDPE sheet selama proses hot-gas welding. Hasil interaksi antara variasi temperatur pelat landasan dan variasi sudut v-groove diperoleh bahwa pada temperatur pelat landasan 150°C dan sudut V-groove 60° didapatkan nilai maksimum kekuatan tarik lasan 18,8 MPa atau 87,5% terhadap kekuatan tarik material HDPE sheet tanpa sambungan

ANALISIS TINGKAT KETERBACAAN BUKU SISWA BAHASA INDONESIA KELAS VII BERBASIS KURIKULUM 2013

The aim of this research is to comprehensively  describing readability of Bahasa Indoesia’s students text book. The books is “Buku Siswa Bahasa Indonesia Kelas VII” revision edition 2014,  published by Ministry of Education and Culture. Research was conducted with descriptive quantitative design. All of text in the text book (38 article) was taken as sample, and analysed using Fry Graph formula.  The result of analysis shown, more than a half of all text (52%) is suitable for seventh grade student. While, 18 text  (48%) is not suitable one.
