Applications of cellular automata in digital watermarking processes

Los grandes avances de la tecnología hoy en día han ayudado a la comunicación y distribución de todo tipo de material digital de manera instantánea. Este es uno de los grandes beneficios de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación, donde también existen diversas amenazas de infracciones relacionadas al derecho de autor o Copyright, falsificaciones de contenido, plagios, por mencionar algunas. Al pasar de los años se han desarrollado diferentes algoritmos computacionales para coadyuvar a la protección de datos en archivos de textos, audio y video, respectivamente. En este artículo se presenta un análisis del estado del arte sobre el uso de autómatas celulares dentro del campo de procesamiento de imágenes digitales en conjunto con la técnica de Marcado de Agua Digital (Digital Watermarking).The great advances in technology today have helped the communication and distribution of all kinds of digital material information instantly. This is one of the great benefits of information and communication technologies, where there are also various threats of infringements, violations related to copyright, falsification of content, and plagiarism, to name a few, etc. Over the years, different computational algorithms and methods have been developed to help protect data in texts, audios and videos files, respectively. INTEGRACIÓN, DETECCIÓN Y CODIFICACIÓN DE CÓDIGOS QR DE COLORES DISTINTOS AL NEGRO (INTEGRATION, DETECTION AND CODIFICATION OF QR CODES OF COLORS OTHER THAN BLACK)

Resumen Los códigos QR se caracterizan por su rápida decodificación y gran capacidad de almacenamiento, sin embargo, si se desea almacenar información delicada, se debe de incorporar un sistema de seguridad. En la actualidad, la incorporación de sistemas de seguridad digitales es importante para salvaguardar la autenticidad de obras impresas. Este trabajo integra dos módulos de seguridad, además de aumentar el doble de capacidad de un solo QR. Para lograr una mayor capacidad, se encripto la información usando códigos QR de colores distintos al negro y se integraron en uno solo tipo cromático. En la fase de detección y a través de un programa desarrollado para este trabajo, se identifican los códigos QR por su color, para luego decodificar la información y recuperarla. El sistema final logra integrar e identificar códigos QR de distintos colores sin perder la información, la metodología propuesta permitirá a futuro la integración de más colores. Abstract QR codes are characterized by their fast decoding and large storage capacity, however, if you want to store sensitive information, you must incorporate a security system. Currently, the incorporation of digital security systems is important to safeguard the authenticity of printed works. This work integrates two security modules, in addition to doubling the capacity of a single QR. To achieve greater capacity, the information was encrypted using QR codes of colors other than black and integrated into a single chromatic type. In the detection phase and through a program developed for this work, the QR codes are identified by their color, and then decode the information and retrieve it. The final system manages to integrate and identify QR codes of different colors without losing the information, the proposed methodology will allow the integration of more colors in the future. Generación de señales ECG con funciones de fourier en un microcontrolador de arquitectura ARM 32

Bioelectrical events manifest themselves as potential differences between two points or electrical signals located in different parts of a living organism, either inside or on its surface. The behavior of these events reflects the health of a human being and to determine them, vital signs are checked. To obtain a proper diagnosis, among some vital signs, is the electrocardiogram (ECG). Therefore, it is necessary to know and reproduce this signal to diagnose any condition or to make sure that the equipment that acquires the signal works properly. This motivated the development of the present work, which presents the emulation of an ECG signal through the sum of Fourier harmonics in a 32-bit ARM STM STM32f407VGT architecture microcontroller, due to its design features and its application to embedded systems, as well as the performance in terms of peripherals available to reproduce the signal. As the Electrocardiogram ECG signal is a periodic signal, with a fundamental frequency determined by the heart rate frequency, it satisfies the Dirichlet conditions, which states that for the Fourier series to exist, its coefficients are finite. The main contribution of this work was to generate EGC signals in an artificial way, which can be useful for medical training or calibration of measuring instruments.Los eventos bioeléctricos se manifiestan como diferencias de potencial entre dos puntos o señales eléctricas localizadas en diferentes lugares de un organismo viviente, ya sea dentro o en la superficie de este, el comportamiento de estos refleja la salud de un ser humano y para determinarlos se verifican los signos vitales. Para obtener un diagnóstico adecuado, entre algunas señales vitales, se encuentra el electrocardiograma (ECG). Por ello, es necesario conocer y reproducir esta señal para diagnosticar algún padecimiento o bien asegurarse que el equipo que adquiere la señal funciona adecuadamente. Esto motivó el desarrollo del presente trabajo, que presenta la generación artificial de una señal ECG a través de la suma de armónicos de Fourier en un microcontrolador de arquitectura ARM ST STM32f407VGT de 32 bits, debido a sus características de diseño y su aplicación a sistemas embebidos, así como las prestaciones en cuestión de periféricos disponibles para reproducir la señal. Como la señal Electrocardiograma ECG es una señal periódica, con una frecuencia fundamental determinada por la frecuencia de ritmo cardiaco, satisface las condiciones de Dirichlet, que plantea que para que la serie de Fourier exista, sus coeficientes son finitos. La contribución principal de este trabajo fue generar señales EGC de manera artificial, que pueda ser útil para entrenamiento médico o calibración de instrumental de medición

Operation and monitoring in real-time of the electrical variables that occur in a house, is possible by measuring and analyzing the behavior of the times involved in each process of the system, this will allow control of energy consumption and simulation of activity in a home. This article describes the construction of a monitoring system of RMS values, using modern technologies for WEB interface systems, server processing and communication between them. In addition, a study of the behavior of common electrical loads in a house and their energy consumption, which can be corrected to make the most of the energy consumed by the end user, is carried out.La operación y monitoreo en tiempo real de las variables eléctricas que se presentan en una casa habitación es posible midiendo y analizando el comportamiento de los tiempos que intervienen en cada proceso del sistema, esto permitirá un control del consumo energético y la simulación de actividad en un hogar. En este artículo se describe la construcción de un sistema de monitoreo de valores RMS, utilizando tecnologías modernas para sistemas de interfaz WEB, procesamiento en el servidor y comunicación entre ellos. SIMULACIÓN DE UN CIRCUITO DOSIFICADOR DE POTENCIA REGULADA DE BAJA FRECUENCIA PARA USO EN ELECTROTERAPIA (SIMULATION OF A LOW-FREQUENCY REGULATED POWER DOSING CIRCUIT FOR USE IN ELECTROTHERAPY)

Resumen En este trabajo se presenta la simulación de un circuito de dosificación de potencia regulada de baja frecuencia para uso en electroterapia. Para realizar este trabajo es importante mantener constante la corriente que fluye a través de la resistencia del cuerpo humano, además de monitorear la diferencia de potencial en la resistencia de la piel durante la sesión de terapia. Con esta recopilación de datos se calcula la potencia efectiva. Este análisis es valioso para los expertos en terapia; ya que permite conocer un parámetro importante a dosificar; por ello en esta propuesta se diseña y simula el acondicionamiento de las señales de tensión y corriente eléctrica aplicadas a cargas puramente resistivas, consiguiendo así un sistema capaz de calcular, procesar y regular la potencia efectiva aplicada al paciente. Abstract In this work the simulation of a low frequency regulated power dosing circuit for use in electrotherapy is presented. To carry out this work it is important to keep the current flowing through the human body resistance constant, in addition to monitoring the potential difference in the resistance of the skin during the therapy session. With these data collection the effective power is calculated. This analysis is valuable for the therapy experts; since it allows to know an important parameter to dose; Therefore in this proposal the conditioning of the voltage and electrical current signals applied to purely resistive loads are designed and simulated, thereby achieving a system capable of calculating, processing and regulating the effective power applied to the patient. Effect of the application of potassium on the yield of corn (zea mays L.) in La Frailesca, chiapas Mexico / Efeito da aplicação de potássio na produção de milho (zea mays L.) em La Frailesca, chiapas, México

In recently soil analysis in La Frailesca Chiapas, it has been detected that most soils have low exchangeable potasium (K) concentrations, therefore maize plants show symptoms of deficiency of this nutrient, which can affect the yield. The maize response was evaluated at four doses of K (0, 90, 180 and 270 kg K2O ha-1) in three locations with non-acid soils. A randomized block design with five replications was used, and potassium chloride (KCl) as a potassium source. KCl was applied by manual broadcasting and was incorporated to the soil 10 and 15 cm deep with a disc harrow. In all three locations a significant positive response was observed (p <0.05) to which a lineal-plateau model was adjusted, with an average increase in yield of 1 964 kg ha-1 (150% higher than without K) with 90 kg K2O ha-1. No response was observed to higher doses. The regression equation for the linear part of the response model is: Yield (kg ha-1) = 3 855 + 22 kg K2O ha-1. The agronomic efficiency of K at the dose of 90 kg K2O ha-1 was higher than the reference range (7 to 15 kg grain.kg-1 K2O). At the same time, this treatment had the highest net benefit and a marginal rate of return of 370%. Under the conditions of this study, the application of 90 kg K2O ha-1 presented the highest yield, economic benefit and agronomic efficiency
