Unidade de terapia intensiva: um espaço significativo para a relação professor-aluno
OBJECTIVE: To address the relationship between professor and student within the ICU environment, from the perspective of professors. METHODS: Qualitative study in the phenomenological modality, in which six professors were interviewed - three from a public institution and three from a private institution, they supervised nursing students in an adult ICU. RESULTS: From the study individuals statements, semantic categories emerged that allowed the learning of the essence of the phenomenon studied. During the analytical process, there was separation into two subcategories: An approximation and facilitating the process of teaching-learning. CONCLUSIONS: The practice of nursing internships in ICU provides an inter-relationship between student and professor, favoring an approximation with others and a personalization of learning, which significantly contributes to enrich the teaching and learning process and the student-professor relationship.OBJETIVO: Discurrir sobre la relación entre profesor y alumno en el espacio de una Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI), bajo la perspectiva de los docentes. MÉTODOS: Estudio de naturaleza cualitativa, en la modalidad fenomenológica, en el cual fueron entrevistados seis docentes - tres de una institución pública y tres de una institución privada que supervisaban alumnos de enfermerÃa en una UCI adulto. RESULTADOS: Del relato de los sujetos del estudio, emergieron categorÃas temáticas que posibilitaron la aprehensión de la esencia del fenómeno estudiado. En el proceso de análisis, hubo desmembramiento en dos subcategorÃas: Una aproximación y Facilitando el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. CONCLUSIONES: La práctica de enfermerÃa en las UCIs propicia una interrelación entre el alumno y el profesor, favoreciendo una proximidad con el otro y una individualización de la enseñanza, lo que contribuye de modo significativo, para enriquecer el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje y la relación profesor-alumno.OBJETIVO: Discorrer sobre a relação entre professor e aluno no espaço de Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI), sob a perspectiva dos docentes. Movilidad estudiantil internacional: la experiencia de estudiantes de pregrado en enfermerÃa
Objective: To understand/reveal the experiences of undergraduate students of the Nursing School of the Universidade de São Paulo in international academic mobility. Method: A cross-sectional, descriptive study with a qualitative approach conducted between February and July 2017. Data were collected using a semi-structured interview and submitted to content analysis. Results: Twenty-two (22) students participated in the study. Five analytical categories emerged from the analysis of the interviews: Interinstitutional Relationships Dimension, Personal Dimension, Professional Dimension, Academic Dimension and Cultural Dimension. Conclusion: There are many advantages that international mobility can bring to vocational training. Greater governmental and institutional investment is considered necessary, but with mutual planning and monitoring by the institutions in order for it to contribute to the development of Nursing and the Country.Objective: To understand/reveal the experiences of undergraduate students of the Nursing School of the Universidade de São Paulo in international academic mobility. Enseñanza clÃnica en la enfermerÃa: la trayectoria de la producción cientÃfica
It's a bibliographic study, in which it was made a scientific production survey on nursing referring to clinical teaching in the Catálogo de Dissertações e Teses do Centro de Estudos e Pesquisas em Enfermagem (CEPEn) (Nursing Study and Research Center's Dissertation and Thesis Catalog) from Associação Brasileira de Enfermagem - ABEn (Brazilian Nursing Association) between 1979 and 2004. It was aimed to describe the study distribution regarding to the number of publishing, applied title, publishing origin, year of application, methodology used and the theme approached. It was concluded that scientific production in this area is still incipient. Thus, we can improve our duties as an educator and occupy our space in the education and health in a competent and qualified way.Tratase de un estudio bibliográfico, en lo cual se realizó un estudio de la producción cientÃfica de enfermerÃa referente a la enseñanza clÃnica en el Catálogo de Disertaciones y Tesis del Centro de Estudios e Investigación en EnfermerÃa (CEPEn) de la Asociación Brasileña de EnfermerÃa - ABEn en el perÃodo de 1979 a 2004. Su objetivo fue describir la distribución de esos estudios cuanto al número de publicaciones, tÃtulo defendido, origen de la publicación, año de defensa, metodologÃa utilizada y temática abordada. Se concluyó que la producción cientÃfica en esa área aún está incipiente. Intercâmbio internacional nos cursos de graduação de enfermagem
Objective: to analyze the scientific production on international exchanges experienced by students during undergraduate nursing. Method: it is an integrative review of the literature performed by searching in the Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences, Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online and Cochrane Library databases from 1995 to 2015. Results: it analyzed 19 articles, most of qualitative studies, published in the United States of America, Australia and Brazil. It is emphasized that the exchange allows the professional and personal development of the student. Language and cultural shock have emerged as challenges and barriers. Regarding the activities developed, nursing appointments, hospital internships, technical visits, participation in a research group and scientific events were identified. Conclusions: nursing exchanges are still incipient, but it is a phenomenon that is expanding because it is linked to the effects of globalization and requires more government and private investments

Processo de ensinar e aprender em UTI: um estudo fenomenológico Proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en UCI: un estudio fenomenologico The teaching-learning process in ICU: a phenomenological study
Este estudo teve como objetivo compreender o significado atribuÃdo por docentes, durante os estágios de enfermagem em terapia intensiva, ao processo de ensinar e aprender. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa fenomenológica. Os dados foram obtidos por meio de entrevista com a seguinte questão norteadora: "Como você vivencia o processo de ensino-aprendizagem nos estágios de UTI?" Emergiram quatro categorias abertas: "Um despertar para a UTI", "Uma busca de como ensinar Enfermagem em Cuidados Intensivos", "Um encontro entre docente e discente" e "Uma experiência significativa". A vivência com os alunos, apesar de despertar inicialmente medos e angústias por se aproximarem da morte e por prestarem cuidados aos pacientes crÃticos, permite o encontro docente/discente nesse ambiente, facilitando o processo de ensino-aprendizagem.<br>Este estudio tuvo como objetivo comprender el significado atribuÃdo por los profesores en las prácticas de enfermerÃa en terapia intensiva sobre el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Se trata de una investigación cualitativa fenomenológica. Los datos fueron obtenidos a través de entrevistas con la siguiente pregrunta orientadora: ¿"Como usted vive el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en las prácticas de UCI?" Surgieron cuatro categorÃas abiertas: "Un despertar para la UCI", "Una busca de como enseñar enfermerÃa en la UCI", "Un encuentro entre profesor y alumno" y "Una experiencia significativa". La vivencia con el alumno, a pesar de despertar inicialmente miedos y angustias por la proximidad con la muerte y por prestar cuidados a pacientes crÃticos, permite el encuentro profesor/alumno en ese ambiente facilitando el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.<br>This study aimed to understanding the meaning attributed by teaching staff throughout the traineeship from nursing under graduation course in intensive care on the teaching and learning process. It's a study of phenomenological qualitative approach. The data were obtained through the following guiding question: "How do you live the teaching-learning process at the ICU traineeship?". From the subjects' descriptions, four open categories came up: "An awakening to ICU", "A searching for how to teaching Nursing in Intensive Care", "A connection between the teaching staff and the students" and "A meaningful experience". This study showed that this living experience, which is shared, permits an approaching and the meeting of the teaching staff with the students in this setting, facilitating the teaching-learning process
Nursing international student mobility in the University of São Paulo
<div><p>ABSTRACT Objective: To characterize the experiences of undergraduate students of the School of Nursing of the University of São Paulo (EEUSP) who participated in international mobility programs between January 2011 and July 2017. Method: Exploratory, descriptive study with quantitative approach. Of 68 reports, only 38 (56%) were considered valid and were submitted to descriptive statistical analysis. Data were categorized in general, institutional, academic and cultural aspects and cost of living. Results: The main destination was Portugal and the years with most participation were 2012 and 2013. The mean stay was six months and the students took a mean of three to four courses. The main funder was the university of origin. Conclusion: Academic activities were limited to theoretical and practical courses, with little insertion in research. There is a need to increase investment in learning other languages and to expand partnerships with larger centers of foreign education and research.</p></div
