The main purpose of this work was to design, implement and validate a model in order to manage content domains in an Adaptive Hypermedia System applied to higher education environments under blended learning modality. The research strategy used was "Case Study", because it is useful to study a contemporary phenomenon in real-life context. To validate the model, two empirical studies were conducted in the Research Methodology subject of the Multimedia Engineering Doctor's degree in the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and in the course on Information Systems of the Bachelor's Degree on Computing Sciences at the University of Carabobo. The study made it possible to learn how students perceived the proposed model. The results of this research show that the model has proven to be effective in the teaching-learning process. Based on this fact, the students have had a positive perception of the system. Furthermore, the contents presented fit the profile of each user. The results of the different trials contribute to the research works that are being carried out concerning the personalization of contents in the educational environments based on Blended Learning

Fostering collective intelligence education
New educational models are necessary to update learning environments to the digitally shared communication and information. Collective intelligence is an emerging field that already has a significant impact in many areas and will have great implications in education, not only from the side of new methodologies but also as a challenge for education. This paper proposes an approach to a collective intelligence model of teaching using Internet to combine two strategies: idea management and real time assessment in the class. A digital tool named Fabricius has been created supporting these two elements to foster the collaboration and engagement of students in the learning process. As a result of the research we propose a list of KPI trying to measure individual and collective performance. We are conscious that this is just a first approach to define which aspects of a class following a course can be qualified and quantified

System for recommendation of information based on a management content model using software agents
In recent years researchers have been working to develop tools to
filter the information available and give the users the content that is relevant to
them. This paper presents a recommendation system developed on an agent
architecture software based on a management content model in blended
learning environments. It also uses clustering algorithms to find relevant
information in the content, building a search space tailored to the interests of
the learner. To validate the architecture proposed we worked with Action
Research methodology and was developed a prototype system called SisMA in
order to retrieve the information in the educational setting. To measure the
effectiveness of the application and its impact on the learning process the
system was tested in two scenarios. The results showed that the relevance of
content and the profile generated by its work plan have had a positive effect on
the learning process.Peer Reviewe
AHSPeR: Adaptive Hypermedia System Oriented Toward Personalization of Readings Plans
The phenomenon of Internet has brought a wide range of communication possibilities and thus a rapid growth of digitized information. Each day the user is overwhelmed with the vast information obtained during the search process, which can hardly identify those that have greater relevance to their information need With the aim of facing this problem, an authoring tool of adaptive hypermedia system, oriented toward the personalization of readings plans in a learning environment, was developed with a view to assessing its effectiveness and the user's satisfaction vis-Ã -vis the proposed adaptation algorithm. This application is based on clustering algorithms and adaptation rules to adjust the user's model to contents and objects of study. Research is conducted according to the action-research methodology. The system was accepted by 89.5% of the sample assessment using the Technology Acceptance Model TAM
