Improving procedural fidelity of behavioural interventions for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities: A systematic review
Background: Despite its importance within behavioural intervention, it remains unclear how best to achieve high procedural fidelity. This paper reviewed studies on improving procedural fidelity of behavioural interventions for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Method: A systematic literature search was conducted, which identified 20 studies meeting inclusion criteria. Data were extracted on study design, participant characteristics, intervention, target behaviours, effect sizes, maintenance, generalisation, and social validity. A quality rating was also applied.
Results: A total of 100 participants took part in the included studies. Most participants were teachers working with children in school settings. There was a significant positive correlation between level of procedural fidelity and client outcomes. Feedback was the most commonly employed intervention to improve procedural fidelity.
Conclusions: More research should be conducted in environments with high levels of variability such as community homes to determine how to reach and maintain high levels of procedural fidelity
An approach to assess quality of life through biometric monitoring in cancer patients
Cancer is a serious disease that causes significant disability and suffering, so naturally Health Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) is a major concern of patients, families and clinicians. This paper intends to relate biometric indices, in terms of HRV metrics, with self-perceived HRQoL from patients with lymphoma. Patients (N = 12) answered FACT questionnaire and used a smartband that collected biometrical data in real-time along the chemotherapy treatment. Our results revealed that Physical Well-Being, Total, Lymphoma subscale and FACT-Lym Trial Outcome domains seem to have a similar pattern that HRV metrics across the treatment cycles. In specific, the FACT domains and the HRV metrics have the lowest average levels on the first cycle and seem to increase along the following cycles (3rd and 6th cycles). Noether Symmetry Approach in "Cosmic Triad" Vector Field Scenario
To realize the accelerations in the early and late periods of our universe,
we need to specify potentials for the dominant fields. In this paper, by using
the Noether symmetry approach, we try to find suitable potentials in the
"cosmic triad" vector field scenario. Because the equation of state parameter
of dark energy has been constrained in the range of by observations, we derive the Noether conditions for the vector field
in quintessence, phantom and quintom models, respectively. In the first two
cases, constant potential solutions have been obtained. What is more, a fast
decaying point-like solution with power-law potential is also found for the
vector field in quintessence model. For the quintom case, we find an
interesting constraint on the field potentials,

Rare B decays and Tevatron top-pair asymmetry
The recent Tevatron result on the top quark forward-backward asymmetry, which
deviates from its standard model prediction by 3.4, has prompted many
authors to build new models to account for this anomaly. Among the various
proposals, we find that those mechanisms which produce via - or
-channel can have a strong correlation to the rare B decays. We demonstrate
this link by studying a model with a new charged gauge boson, . In terms of
the current measurements on decays, we conclude that the branching
ratio for is affected most by the new effects.
Furthermore, using the world average branching ratio for the exclusive B decays
at level, we discuss the allowed values for the new parameters.
Finally, we point out that the influence of the new physics effects on the

Chiral U(1) flavor models and flavored Higgs doublets: the top FB asymmetry and the Wjj
We present U(1) flavor models for leptophobic Z' with flavor dependent
couplings to the right-handed up-type quarks in the Standard Model, which can
accommodate the recent data on the top forward-backward (FB) asymmetry and the
dijet resonance associated with a W boson reported by CDF Collaboration. Such
flavor-dependent leptophobic charge assignments generally require extra chiral
fermions for anomaly cancellation. Also the chiral nature of U(1)' flavor
symmetry calls for new U(1)'-charged Higgs doublets in order for the SM
fermions to have realistic renormalizable Yukawa couplings. The stringent
constraints from the top FB asymmetry at the Tevatron and the same sign top
pair production at the LHC can be evaded due to contributions of the extra
Higgs doublets. We also show that the extension could realize cold dark matter

NLO QCD corrections to tW' and tZ' production in forward-backward asymmetry models
We consider Z' and W' models recently proposed to explain the top
forward-backward asymmetry at the Tevatron. We present the next-to-leading
order QCD corrections to associated production of such vector bosons together
with top quarks at the Large Hadron Collider, for centre-of-mass energies of 7
and 8 TeV. The corrections are significant, modifying the total production
cross-section by 30-50%. We consider the effects of the corrections on the top
and vector-boson kinematics. The results are directly applicable to current

Top pair Asymmetries at Hadron colliders with general couplings
Recently it has been shown that measurement of charge asymmetry of top pair
production at LHC excludes any flavor violating vector gauge boson that
could explain Tevatron forward-backward asymmetry (FBA). We consider the
general form of a gauge boson including left-handed, right-handed vector
and tensor couplings to examine FBA and charge asymmetry. To evaluate top pair
asymmetries at Tevatron and LHC, we consider mixing constraints on
flavor changing couplings and show that this model still explain
forward-backward asymmetry at Tevatron and charge asymmetry can not exclude it
