    Setiap Proyek Konstruksi memiliki keunikan sendiri dan tidak sama. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan keunikan tersebut adalah Owner proyek. Setiap Owner memiliki keinginan yang berbeda-beda dalam hal biaya, mutu dan waktu. Ketiga kriteria itu sama-sama penting, namun sangat jarang salah satu kriteria tidak lebih dominan dibandingkan dengan kriteria lainnya. Bagi Owner yang lebih mementingkan kriteria waktu maka Momentum Management merupakan metode yang sesuai karena seluruh formula di dalamnya berbasis waktu. Salah satu rumusan penting yang terdapat dalam Momentum Management adalah Performance Intensity. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengenal metode Momentum Management dengan cara melakukan studi literatur dan menerapkannya pada proyek konstruksi yang ada. Pencatatan progress harian dan perhitungan performance dilakukan untuk mengetahui keadaan proyek actual dan prediksi terhadap akhir proyek. Hasil performance dan Prediksi yang diperoleh dengan Momentum Management dapat menjadi early warning bagi para kontraktor proyek. Kontraktor dapat melakukan tindakan antisipasi lebih dini sebelum proyek terlambat lebih jauh

    Can a Logarithmically Running Coupling Mimic a String Tension?

    It is shown that a Coulomb potential using a running coupling slightly modified from the perturbative form can produce an interquark potential that appears nearly linear over a large distance range. Recent high-statistics SU(2) lattice gauge theory data fit well to this potential without the need for a linear string-tension term. This calls into question the accuracy of string tension measurements which are based on the assumption of a constant coefficient for the Coulomb term.     Recurrent shell infall events in a B0.5e star: HD 58978 1979-1988

    Infall from the circumstellar envelope onto the bright B0.5 IVe star, HD 58978 was studied. The IUE data indicate that the star was surrounded by a low and moderately ionized circumstellar shell at least 12 times between 1979 and 1988. During 6 of these episodes, the signatures of cool circumstellar material were redshifted with respect to the photosphere by 20 to 80 km/sec. The data indicate that the transition from infall to minimal shell absorption can occur in under 10 days, and are consistent either with infall phases lasting up to 6 months, or with infall episodes shorter than 10 to 15 days.     Simultaneous excitation of fast and slow surface plasmon polaritons in a high dielectric contrast system

    Surface plasmon polaritons propagating in a high dielectric contrast system are investigated numerically. Using frequency domain simulations, we show that a three layer system consisting of air-silicon (7 nm)-silver supports two different modes at the Ag-Si interface: a fast mode, which exhibits normal dispersion, and a slow mode, which exhibits anomalous dispersion. Near the Ag-Si surface plasmon polariton resonance frequency, surface waves with a wavelength of 25 nm are observed at a vacuum wavelength of 595 nm, equivalent to lambda(f)/24. The results show the possibility of exciting surface waves with extreme ultraviolet wavelengths using visible frequencies
