In the extensive field of studies of the markets and the feminine labor force, the participation of women, companies, their evolution and their tendencies has already acquired an important place as an object of investigation. Likewise, the perspective from which this fact was analyzed has been broadened and its relationship with the domestic sphere has been addressed. It is important to study the incursion of women in these areas, to determine if it is a conjunctural incursion, if it is a consequence of the recurrent crises that the country has suffered during the last three decades, or if it responds to a new way of structuring the economic and social order. In the same way that women workers are now maintained in the labor market without abandoning their role as heads of household, there are constantly women who become workers, unemployed or housewives to employers. This work is based on a comprehensive vision of female economic activity, examining its problems and discovering issues of subjectivity, that is, the reasons that lead these women to venture into this type of activity, in conflicts, and contradictions that they face when they start and develop their own business and how they perceive themselves as independent workers.En el extenso campo de estudios de los mercados y la fuerza de trabajo femenino, ha adquirido ya un lugar importante como objeto de investigación la participación de mujeres, empresas, su evolución y sus tendencias. Asimismo se ha ampliado la óptica desde la cual se analizaba este hecho y se ha abordado su vinculación con el ámbito doméstico. Es importante estudiar la incursión de mujeres en estos ámbitos, para determinar si se trata de una incursión coyuntural, si es consecuencia de las crisis recurrentes que ha padecido el país durante las últimas tres décadas, o bien si responde a una nueva forma de estructuración del orden económico y social. De la misma manera en que las mujeres trabajadoras se mantienen ahora en el mercado laboral sin abandonar su rol de responsables del hogar, existen constantemente mujeres que se convierten de trabajadoras, desempleadas o amas de casa a empleadoras. En este trabajo se parte de una visión integral de la actividad económica femenina, examinando su problemática y descubriendo las cuestiones de subjetividad, esto es, las razones que llevan a estas mujeres a incursionar en este tipo de actividad, en los conflictos, y contradicciones que enfrentan al iniciar y desarrollar su propio negocio y como se perciben como trabajadoras independientes

Las PyMES dirigidas por mujeres en Puebla: los retos ante la crisis económica

Recientes estudios relativos a la genealogía de las mujeres reportan una progresiva incorporación de éstas en las actividades empresariales. Mi intención es ocuparme de tales aspectos, con la finalidad de mostrar su relevancia en la investigación de la situación de las mujeres empresarias en el desarrollo local poblano. El que ellas se integren a ese ámbito es un fenómeno interesante de indagar, ya que en su decisión inciden elementos de orden social y cultural muy sugerentes para el análisis de la participación económica femenina, el mercado de trabajo y el desarrollo empresarial

El Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social: fundación y reformas al Contrato Colectivo del Trabajo

This article describes how social security has developed in order to become the actual Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS). First of all, the historical framework and emergence of the Institution is stablished, as nucleus of social security and how it is properly applied. Secondly, The Collective Work Contract (CCT) is analyzed. It is considered as one of the great achievements of the workers’ social struggle. This research paper analyzes in detail the contract carried out by IMSS and the Social Security Workers Union (SNTSS). The changes that have taken place and what has been the worker´s position on such matters. The research provides some answers to the question: What have been the results in Mexico based on the implementation of the new reforms?El presente artículo se enmarca en el desarrollo que ha tenido la seguridad social en México hasta el nacimiento del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS); en el primer apartado se muestra el entramado histórico y surgimiento de dicha Institución, como la principal encargada de la aplicación adecuada de la seguridad social; posteriormente, se analiza el contrato colectivo de trabajo (CCT), como uno de los grandes logros alcanzados por la lucha social de los trabajadores; en específico, se estudia el CCT celebrado entre el IMSS y el Sindicato de Trabajadores del Seguro Social (SNTSS), los cambios que ha sufrido y las posiciones que han tenido los trabajadores al respecto, a raíz de las reformas en materia laboral que se han implementado en México

Genome annotation of a Saccharomyces sp. lager brewer's yeast

The genome of lager brewer's yeast is a hybrid, with Saccharomyces eubayanus and Saccharomyces cerevisiae as sub-genomes. Due to their specific use in the beer industry, relatively little information is available. The genome of brewing yeast was sequenced and annotated in this study. We obtained a genome size of 22.7 Mbp that consisted of 133 scaffolds, with 65 scaffolds larger than 10 kbp. With respect to the annotation, 9939 genes were obtained, and when they were submitted to a local alignment, we found that 53.93% of these genes corresponded to S. cerevisiae, while another 42.86% originated from S. eubayanus. Our results confirm that our strain is a hybrid of at least two different genomes
