Mechano-Activation and SHS of Difficultly Taken Ore
Technological parameters of opening refractory ores by mechanical activation which determine remaining and the morphology of the samples after mechanical activation, SHS synthesis and the leaching process has been defined. Mechano-chemical activation of arsenopirita in different modes increases process have been defined. Optimal conditions for activation: time - 30 min at a ratio of grinding media and mineral 2:1. Leaching rate was higher for the activated samples the same amount of time than the original. Extraction of gold for the chosen optimum conditions is 93.2-95%

When taking the antibiotics of the tetracycline group together with food and drinks the components may decrease bioavailability, the effectiveness of the drug and change the kinetics of its release. A bright example is the interaction of doxycycline with antacid drugs, food products such as milk, cheese and others, containing alkaline earth metal cations. However, the experimental data on the possible interaction of doxycycline with mineral water and soft drinks are absent.Aim. To study the possible interaction of doxycycline with salts of alkaline earth metals and its effect on bioavailability in the experiment in vitro.Materials and methods. The study objects were doxycycline hyclate capsules, mineral waters and soft drinks. During the study a Mettler Toledo AB-204 / A analytical balance was used. The test βDissolutionβ for solid dosage forms was performed on a PharmaTest-DT70 device (Germany). The quantitative content of the active substance was determined on a βSpecord 200β spectrophotometer (Germany).Results. There was an increase in the concentration of doxycycline in the medium of 0.1 M HCl solution when adding such mineral waters as βKarpatska Dzherelnaβ, βTruskavetskaβ, βEssentuki No. 17β, βPolyana kvasovaβ. With addition of βSpriteβ soft drink a decrease in the concentration compared to the control sample was observed. The dissolution profile of doxycycline capsules in the medium of 0.1 M HCl with addition of βTruskavetskaβ mineral water is not comparable to the control sample. The dissolution profiles of other mineral waters studied and βSpriteβ are similar.Conclusions. The assumption can be made about the possible interaction of calcium and magnesium cations in waters mentioned above with the doxycycline hyclate molecule. Today three national manufacturers produce famotidine tablets, but the SPhU does not contain any monograph for this dosage form.Aim. To verify TLC and study the possibility of using the HPTLC method for identification of famotidine in tablets.Materials and methods. The objects of the study were three batches of famotidine tablets. TLC and HPTLC were used as the methods of the study.Results and discussion. The possibility of using TLC and HPTLC methods for identification of famotidine tablets was confirmed in the study. The main spots of the test solutions corresponded to the size and the Rf value of the main spots of the standard solution. The Rf value for all solutions was 0.5.Conclusions. The paper presents the synthesis of new phosphorylated peptidomimetics and their action on the isolated rat aorta. It has been shown that derivatives of diethyl 5-amino-2-phthalimidoalkyl-1,3-oxazol-4-ylphosphonates can be employed in the synthesis of phosphorylated peptidomimetics containing a phosphonoglycine residue. For this purpose derivatives of 1,3-oxazol-4-ylphosphonates were decomposed hydrolytically in the acidic medium. The reaction of diethyl 5-alkylamino-2-aminoalkyl-1,3-oxazol-4-ylphosphonates with unsaturated azlactones was used to obtain phosphorylated peptidomimetics with dehydroamino acid groups. The method developed is very convenient and preparative because reactions proceed in mild conditions without formation of undesirable byproducts. Peptidomimetics are isolated with high yields and their separation does not require chromatography. Biological research has revealed the vasodilating activity of new derivatives of phosphorylated peptidomimetics depending on their chemical structure when acting on the ratβs isolated aorta. The possible molecular mechanisms of this activity with participation of the plasma membrane Ca2+-channels of vascular smooth muscle cells are discussed. The data of impact of an inhibitor of voltage-dependent Ca2+-channels of L-type of nitrendipine on the vascular tone are reported. It has been found that the concentration dependences of the vasodilating activity of the diethyl esters of 5-alkylamino-2-{N-[N-benzoyl-(4-methylbenzylidene)glycyl]aminomethyl}-1,3-oxazol- 4-ylphosphonates synthesized and nitrendipine are similar. It can testify about the indirect detection of the vasodilatory effect of these compounds associated with inhibition of the calcium signal system. Near Resonant Spatial Images of Confined Bose-Einstein Condensates in the '4D' Magnetic Bottle
We present quantitative measurements of the spatial density profile of
Bose-Einstein condensates of sodium atoms confined in a new '4D' magnetic
bottle. The condensates are imaged in transmission with near resonant laser
light. We demonstrate that the Thomas-Fermi surface of a condensate can be
determined to better than 1%. More generally, we obtain excellent agreement
with mean-field theory. We conclude that precision measurements of atomic
scattering lengths and interactions between phase separated cold atoms in a
