Quantum dynamics in a time-dependent cylindrical trap

Solutions to the Schr\"{o}dinger equation are examined for a particle inside a cylindrical trap of a circular time-dependent cross-section. Analytical expressions for energy and momentum expectation values are derived with respect to the exact solutions; and the adiabatic and sudden change of the boundary are discussed. The density profile as a function of time in a given observation point, resembles the diffraction-in-time pattern observed in a suddenly released particle but with an enhanced fringe visibility. Numerical computations are presented for both contracting and expanding boxes.Comment: Accepted by Physics Letters

REPRODUÇÃO BIOLÓGICA E CLASSES SOCIAIS

The idealistic conception of the woman health assistance programs, which ignores the social determinants of the biological reproduction, gives to the facts an explanation based on models which instead of reaching the real causes of the problems, places an ideological curtain that distorts reality and therefore offer solutions which only permit to obtain the adequate pragmatic results, without touching the actual structural causes which can unbalance the system. In view of this fact we intend to develop a research with the objectives of knowing and explaining the biological reproductive profile, according to the insertion of is a specific reproductive profile, socially determined by the peculiar forms of production and consumption of each social class. We consider that the analysis of the data through the frame of the historical and dialectic materialism, permits the scientific explanation of the biological facts, among which the biological reproduction. The study has the purpose of obtaining subsides form the qualitative and quantitative transformation of the woman health programs on a real base, corresponding to the peculiar situation of the social classes in which is inserted the selected population.A concepção idealista dos programas de assitência à saúde da mulher, que ignora a determinação social da reprodução biológica, dá aos fatos uma explicação baseada em modelos que, ao invés de chegar às verdadeiras causas dos problemas, coloca uma cortina ideológica que distorce a realidade e, portanto, oferece soluções que permitem apenas obter os resultados pragmáticos adequados, sem tocar as verdadeiras causas estruturais que podem desequilibrar o sistema. Em vista disso, pretende-se desenvolver uma pesquisa com os objetivos de conhecer e explicar o perfil reprodutivo biológico, segundo a inserção da população selecionada em classes sociais, admitindo-se que para cada classe social existe um perfil reprodutivo próprio, determinado socialmente, pelas formas peculiares de produzir e consumir de cada classe social. A análise dos dados através do referencial do materialismo histórico e dialético, admite-se, permite a explicação científica dos fatos biológicos, entre os quais, o da reprodução biológica. O estudo tem a finalidade de obter subsídios para a transformação qualitativa e quantitativa dos programas de saúde da mulher numa base real, condizente com a situação peculiar das classes sociais nas quais se insere a população selecionada

Utilização da escala SERVQUAL para mensuração da qualidade: estudo de caso em uma empresa de transporte público

Various services provided throughout the country in recent years, generated skilled jobs, increased internal and external competitiveness and accelerate innovation. It has expanded customer choice, preferring companies that offer differentiated services that meet their needs. Therefore, the aim of this study was to establish a measurement of services using SERVQUAL, and five dimensions of quality. It is evident in the public transport company, factors that must improve more efficiently and effectively what customers need and expect of the services received. The methodology was characterized as descriptive as it described the quality and measurement of SERVQUAL guidelines, when dealing with a case study because it involves a single company. In the analysis of results, it was used descriptive statistics and SERVQUAL scale with five dimensions of quality, taking into account the importance of each issue. The issue that stood out was the guarantee, reaching the ideal quality, both in expectancy and experience. It is suggested for future studies, management for an implementation project of the SERVQUAL methodology for continuous measurement of quality enterprise.Os diversos serviços prestados em todo país, geraram empregos qualificados, aumentou a competividade interna e externa, além de acelerar a inovação. Assim, ampliou-se a escolha pelo cliente, preferindo aquelas empresas que oferecerem serviços diferenciados e que satisfaçam as suas necessidades. Por isso, o objetivo do estudo foi estabelecer uma mensuração dos serviços prestados utilizando a escala SERVQUAL, e as cinco dimensões da qualidade. Evidencia-se na empresa de transporte público, os fatores que esta deve melhorar para satisfazer com mais eficiência e eficácia aquilo que os clientes necessitam e esperam dos serviços recebidos. A metodologia se caracterizou como descritiva, pois busca descrever a qualidade e mensuração da mesma sob as diretrizes da escala SERVQUAL, se tratando de um estudo de caso por envolver uma única empresa. Na análise dos resultados utilizou-se a estatística descritiva e Escala SERVQUAL com as cinco dimensões da qualidade, levando em consideração a importância de cada questão. A questão que mais se destacou foi a garantia, alcançando a qualidade ideal, tanto na expectativa, quanto na experiência.  Sugere-se para estudos futuros, gerenciamento para um projeto de implementação da metodologia SERVQUAL, para mensuração constante da qualidade dos serviços da empresa. 

Woman abuse: contribuitions and shortcomings of the information system

The purpose of this article is to present an overview of the health information system in monitoring woman abuse by analyzing the extent to which each data source may contribute to actual event dimensioning and underlie the decision-making process. Therefore, the text presents advances and contributions of each officially existent database in the health sector, and also its persistent shortcomings due to the scarce sensitivity and specificity of these systems in monitoring woman abuse. The article also discusses the need for further studies in order to deepen the issue, as well as a gender-based information policy for analysis and intervention of the violence determinants against women, considering the significance and seriousness of the issue, not only for women but also for society as a whole.El artículo tiene por objetivo presentar un breve panorama del sistema de información en salud en la actividad de monitoreo de la violencia contra la mujer, analizando de que forma cada medida y fuente de datos puede contribuir para el real dimensionamiento del evento y subsidiar el proceso de la toma de decisiones. En ese sentido, el texto presenta los avances y contribuciones de cada base de datos oficiales existentes en el sector de la salud, así como las limitaciones que todavía persisten por la poca sensibilidad y especificidad de estos sistemas en el monitoreo de la violencia contra la mujer. Se discute, también, la necesidad de realizar otros estudios para profundizar la cuestión y la elaboración de una política de información relacionada al género, para análisis e intervención en los determinantes de la violencia contra la mujer, dada la magnitud y la gravedad del problema no solo para las mujeres como para la sociedad como un todo.O artigo tem por objetivo apresentar um breve panorama do sistema de informação em saúde, no monitoramento da violência contra a mulher, analisando em que medida cada fonte de dados pode contribuir para o real dimensionamento do evento e subsidiar o processo de tomada de decisão. Phase diagram of the mixed spin-2 and spin-5/2 Ising system with two different single-ion anisotropies

AbstractWe study the effect of two different single-ion anisotropies in the phase diagram and in the compensation temperature of mixed spin-2 and spin-5/2 Ising ferrimagnetic system. We employed the mean-field theory based on the Bogoliubov inequality for Gibbs free energy. We use the Landau expansion of free energy in the order parameter to describe the phase diagram. In the temperature versus single-ion anisotropy plane the phase diagram displays tricritical behavior. The critical and compensation temperatures increase with increasing values of the single-ion anisotropies

Duelo, de Guimarães Rosa: moira em interface com a violência do sertão

Este ensaio tem o objetivo de refletir sobre a moira, destino ligado à matriz grega, em interface com as viagens e com a violência do sertão a partir do conto “Duelo”, quarta narrativa do livro Sagarana, de Guimarães Rosa. Trata-se de uma espécie de aclimatação do destino antigo à vivência do sujeito sertanejo, sobretudo no espaço de perseguição, de morte e de instabilidade nos gerais. Assim, esta reflexão em torno do conto do autor mineiro faz-se na leitura que instala a paisagem do sertão ao plano universalista da tradição grega: o destino.This essay reflects upon the concept of moira as referred as destiny - following the Ancient Greek Mythology - while interfacing the excursions and the backcountry’s violence presented in “Duelo”, the fourth short story of the book Sagarana, by Guimarães Rosa. The article presents a sort of analogy between the ancient destiny and the experience of the inhabitants of the hinterlands, in its atmosphere of persecution, death and instability. Link Between Immunoexpression Of Hmlh1 And Hmsh2 Proteins And Clinical-epidemiological Aspects Of Actinic Cheilitis

The studies found in the literature associate the immunoexpression of hMLH1 and hMSH2 proteins with histologic aspects, but do not correlate it with clinical and epidemiological data. Objective: To evaluate the immunoexpression of hMLH1 and hMSH2 in actinic cheilitis, correlating it with clinical characteristics. Methods: We analyzed 40 cases. Histological and immunohistochemical analyses were performed. The following clinical variables were evaluated: gender, age range, ethnicity, clinical aspect and occupational sunlight exposure. Statistical evaluation included the Student t-test, while the significance level was set at 5%. Results: Greater immunoexpression of hMLH1 and hMSH2 was observed in females, individuals aged over 40, and mixedrace/ black patients. Furthermore, the immunoexpression of these proteins was greater in actinic cheilitis with a white-colored appearance and in patients without occupational sunlight exposure. No statistical differences were observed for the variables studied. Conclusion: This study uncovered variations of hMLH1 and hMSH2 protein expression upon evaluation of clinical aspects in actinic cheilitis. © 2016 by Anais Brasileiros de Dermatologia.91446346
