Our  aim  at  this  paper  is  to  investigate  properties  of  Shannon   and  REnyie entropy, Kullback-Leibler (K-L) information and mutual information of generalized order statistics (GOS). We show that discrimination information and Renyie information between distribution of GOS and parent distribution, the discrimination information among the GOS and the mutual information between GOS are all distribution free. We also discuss Renyie information properties of  GOS . Some bounds for K-L information is constructed

Background: Individual's self-concept is of great importance for mental health professionals, and it can be said that an individual has mental health if he/she has a positive self-concept. Recognition of factors affecting mental and physical health of persons, especially students, is of special importance. Accordingly, the objective of this research was to investigate the relationship between self-concept and anxiety amongst university students and to find strategies to improve their mental health status. Methods: This is a cross-sectional descriptive - analytical study. Statistical population included all students studying in the intended university in Kerman during the academic year 2010-2011. A total of 375 students were randomly selected through cluster sampling. Data gathering instruments were "Beck self- concept" and "Cattell Anxiety" questionnaires. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and regression model. Results: According to the obtained results, there is no relationship between anxiety and self-concept. But age showed a significant relationship with anxiety in a way that anxiety decreased with age increase. Conclusion: It seems that self-concept and anxiety have no relation. But, younger students probably need more support for controlling their anxiety

The purpose of this study was to construct a theoretical framework and an indigenous model of ethical leadership in the public sector of Iran. The aim of the present study is fundamental to the process of data collection for the study is descriptive and correlation survey. The present study designed to test the model included two parts. The model design, with the help of experts, was used to develop a conceptual model, and then used to test the validity of the model and its performance; the model was navigated in a government organization. The study results indicated that ethical leadership and management include two individual elements and by considering both personal and managerial structure, we can see the impact of these elements on the consequence of ethical leadership

ABSTRACT Acidic sludge is a by-product from used motor oil reprocessing industries, which thousand tons of this sludge are disposed into the environment as a hazardous waste material daily. The acidic sludge contains unsaturated compounds that are polar and asphaltene. The bitumen under certain conditions is produced from mixing of bentonite, polymer styrene – butadiene – styrene (SBS), and acidic sludge. Context and purpose: The objective of this study was the recovery of acidic sludge to bitumen using additives such as bentonite and SBS. Also, the effect of additives with different weight percentages (wt%(on the performance parameters of bitumen was evaluated. At first, spilled oil was separated from the acidic sludge by a centrifugal concentrator. Then, concentrated acidic sludge and additives were mixed in together. Finally, the performance tests were carried out to compare the quality of acidic sludge with the obtained products. The results indicated that performance parameters such as softening point (SP), weight loss, penetration degree, PI, Frass breaking point, and temperature susceptibility (TS) were promoted from 37°C, 1.3%, 230 dmm, -0.07854, -5°C and 0.0451 to 54°C, 1%, 130 dmm, 2.7094, -11°C , 0.02721, respectively. According to the paired sample t-test analysis, a significant difference was found between the bentonite dosage and the improved performance parameters from concentrated acidic sludge and obtained products (pvalue ≤.001). The bentonite and SBS with 2 and 4 wt%, respectively were determined as the suitable additives in the recovery of acidic sludge to bitumen

Abstract. The valuable historical- cultural resources as one of the components of the society’s cultural figure can reflect cultural and historical capacities and characteristics, which in this regard can lead to urban growth and development. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of the cultural-historical branding in the development and growth of Zahedan city. The research method is analytically- applied based on library, documentary, and field studies. To analyze the data used of SPSS software and AHP. A single-sample T test used to assess the role of the cultural-historical branding in the development and growth of Zahedan city. The results show that, in all the indicators,  the calculated average is higher than the median of three (median= 3), it results illustrates the great role of cultural-historical branding and its place in urban development. As well as we used of the Spearman correlation test to ensure the existence correlation between growth indicators and urban development. The results show that there is a meaningful relationship between the growth indicator and urban development (With a significant level of less than 0.05). To measure and prioritize the cultural- historical branding indicators used of the AHP model. The result reveals that the highest ranks respectively belong to the line index with relative significance calculated 0.445, the language dialect and the race with the relative significance obtained 230.0, architecture with the relative significance obtained 0.107. As wellas the lower ranks belongs to the music index with the relative importance 0.047, The index of oral literature with a relative importance 0.056 and the religious and ritual index with relative importance obtained 0.103.Keywords: Cultural-historical branding, Urban development, Communities, Zahedan city
