Legal Protection for Indonesian Labor in Government Policy Regarding the Admission of Foreign Labor in Indonesia

Enactment of Presidential Regulation No. 20 of 2018 reaps the pros and cons in the community. This is not without reason but because of several articles contained in the Presidential Regulation (Perpres) are considered making it easier for Foreign Workers to work in Indonesia. The government policy and legal protection of Indonesian workers are being questioned in relation to the policy of accepting the foreign workers. The method used to examine the problems to be discussed in this study is normative juridical research method which is explained in descriptive analytical technique. Policies carried out by the government when viewed from the existing regulations are made to provide guarantees and rights to foreign workers while working in Indonesia. The acceptance of Foreign Workers in Presidential Regulation No. 20 of 2018 provides conditions that must be complied with by employers and the foreign workers cannot be employed if these conditions are not met. This is a form of government effort as a protection for Indonesian Workers

A STUDY ON LORD JIM’S ANXIETY IN JOSEPH CONRAD’S LORD JIM: A PSYCHOANALYTIC APPROACH

The major problem of this study is how anxiety is reflected in the major character’s personality. The aim of this study is to analyze Joseph Conrad’s Lord Jim based on the structural elements and the personality of the major character based on Psychoanalytic Approach. This study focuses on the major character, namely Lord Jim. The benefit of this study is to give additional information which can be used by the other literature researchers who are interested in analyzing this play. This study uses two data sources, namely primary and secondary data source. The primary data source is the novel itself, while the secondary data are taken from some information needed. The method of data collection is qualitative method. Based on the analysis, the outcome of this study shows that the problem of major character encounters causes the conflict of his mental condition. ANALISIS FAKTOR PENENTU TINGKAT EFISIENSI PERBANKAN DI INDONESIA PADA TAHUN 2012-2014 DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN TWO STAGE DATA ENVELOPMENT ANALYSIS

The study consisted of two stages, the first stage using Data Envelopment Analysis which aims to analyze the level of efficiency of banking in Indonesia in 2012-2014, using a sample of 87 conventional banks. The second stage used tobit methods aims to analyze suspected the factors to affect the level of bank efficiency consists of the level of profitability, the size of banks, credit risk, economic growth, and the number of bank branches. The result in the first stage using DEA analysis indicates that there are only five banks were 100% efficient during the study period include: Bank Central Asia Tbk, Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk, Bank Mandiri Tbk, Bank Danamon Tbk, and Bank of India Tbk. In the second stage using tobit methods, it is known that the level of profitability and the bank size influence on the bank efficiency. Pengelolaan Keuangan Daerah terhadap Progam Penanggulangan Kemiskinan di Kabupaten Ponorogo Berdasarkan Peraturan Presiden No. 15 Tahun 2010 (Studi di Kantor Bappeda Kab. Ponorogo)

Dalam penelitian ini penulis membahas tentang pelaksanaan program Penanggulangan kemiskinan dan pengelolaan keuangan daerah bagi program tersebut.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan Yuridis Sosiologis, yaitu suatu pendekatan masalah dengan mengkaji peraturan yang berlaku dikaitan dengan pelaksanaan ketentuan yang ada di lapangan. Lokasi penelitian di BAPPEDA Kabupaten Ponorogo. Jenis data yang di pergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder yang diambil menggunakan teknik wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan diskriptip kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang sudah diuraikan pada bab-bab terdahulu maka dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: Bahwa pelaksanaan program penanggulangannya kemiskinan di Kabupaten Ponorogo antara lain bertujuan untuk mempercepat penurunan jumlah penduduk miskin sekitar 25,04% ditahun 2011 dengan jumlah rumah tangga miskin sebesar 89.667. Sedangkan yang menjadi arah penanggulangan kemiskinan adalah untuk meningkatkan produktifitas dan meringankan beban pengeluaran masyarakat miskin. Program-program penanggulangan kemiskinan meliputi: perluarsan kesempatan, pemberdaya masyarakat peningkatan kapasitas dan sumber daya manusia serta perlindungan sosial, bahwa pengelolaan keuangan daerah untuk penanggulangannya kemiskinan di Kabupaten Ponorogo dilakukan dengan cara penentuan prioritas program mengingat alokasi anggaran untuk program ini sebagian besar atau sekitar 90% dari total anggaran masih berasaldari APBD Kabupaten Ponorogo sendiri, sedangkan bantuan dari APBD provinsi Jawa Timur maupun dari APBN pemerintah pusat masih sangat terbatas. Berdasarkan dari uraian diatas penulis memberikan saran yakni mengingat pentingnya program penanggulangan kemiskinan, terutama di Kabupaten Ponorogo, maka adanya alokasi anggaran untuk program ini harus terus ditingkatkan terutama dukungan anggaran baik dari APBD Provinsi maupun APBN Pemerintah Pusat sehingga program penanggulangan kemiskinan bisa sesuai dengan tujuan, sasaran dan target yang telah ditetapkan

The Influence of the Application of Marketing Mix on the Purchase Decision of Prospective Consumers of Grand Cempaka Housing

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of simultaneous and partial marketing mix on the purchase decision of prospective consumers of Grand Cempaka Housing.This research uses quantitative methods, and is a survey research from the types of explanatory research whose focus is placed on relational research: studying the relationship of variables. The object of research is the residents of Pasuruan City and the sample in this study is the Prospective Consumer of Grand Cempaka Housing. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis methods.The results of the analysis show that Products, Prices, Places and Promotions simultaneously have a significant effect on the Decision of Purchasing Prospective Consumers of Grand Cempaka Housing. This shows that the marketing mix is one of the marketing strategies that should be considered so that the implementation of the marketing strategy can run successfully because the elements in the marketing mix influence each other. Variables in the marketing mix which include Products, Prices, Places and Promotions partially have a significant effect on the Decision of Purchasing Prospective Consumers of Grand Cempaka Housing.
