Human health as a context of the andragogical discourse

Ujmowanie zdrowia jako fizycznego, psychospołecznego i duchowego dobrostanu oraz salutogenna teza o możliwości jego pozyskiwania stawiają zdrowie w obszarze refleksji teoretycznej pedagogiki oraz w zasięgu praktyki społeczno-pedagogicznej. Z racji faktu, iż zdrowie jest ważną determinantą rozwoju człowieka dorosłego oraz czynnikiem modyfikującym radzenie sobie z wyzwaniami codziennego życia decydujące o doświadczanej jakości życia, stanowi znaczący kontekst dyskursu andragogicznego. Przedmiotem tego dyskursu jest wychowanie do zdrowia, edukacja zdrowotna oraz szeroko rozumiane, wielowymiarowe funkcjonowanie człowieka w okresie dorosłości, starzenia się i starości wraz z jego uwarunkowaniami środowiskowymi i społeczno-kulturowymi. Tak określone zagadnienia wpisują się w obszar zainteresowań nauk medycznych i społecznych generując potrzebę interdyscyplinarnego podejścia w rozważaniach andragogicznych.The recognition of health as physical, psychosocial and spiritual well-being and the salutogenic thesis about the possibility of acquiring thereof place health within reflection of theoretical pedagogy and the social and pedagogical practice. Due to the fact that health is an important determinant of an adult development and a factor that modifies the way they cope with the challenges of everyday life, determining the experienced quality of life, it constitutes a significant context of the andragogical discourse. The subject of this discourse is upbringing for health, health education, and the broadly-understood, multi-dimensional human functioning in adulthood, aging and old age along with environmental and socio-cultural determinants. Thus defined issues fall within the area of medical and social science, generating the need for an interdisciplinary approach to andragogical reflections

Hyperfine interactions in RxGd1- xFe3 intermetallics R = Tb, Y

The structural and magnetic properties of rare earth iron intermetallic compounds TbxGd1-xFe3 and YxGd1-xFe3 (x = 0. 0, 0. 1, 0. 2, 0. 4, 0. 5, 0. 6, 0. 8, 1. 0) was studied by X-ray diffraction, the 57Fe Mössbauer effect and SQUID measurements. All investigated compounds crystallize in the rhombohedral PuNi3-type of crystal structure. The investigation of magnetic properties of RxGd1-xFe3 proved their ferrimagnetic behavior. The Curie temperature of the investigated compounds decreases with the increase of R concentration from 721K (GdFe3) to 655K (TbFe3) and 533K (YFe3). The saturation magnetic moment MS in the RxGd1-xFe3 system increase with x parameter. The Mössbauer spectra are analyzed using four sextets, corresponding to three crystallographically (b, c, h) and four magnetically (b, c, h1, h2) inequivalent sites for iron. The mean hyperfine magnetic field increases with increase of the Gd concentration

In this article, the topic is based on examining the educational aspects of anthropological relations between human body and health. A distinguishing feature of contemporary society, which is named as a “somatic society”, is the expansion of the culture of body. Today the body is the basis of identity formation and many people do not take into account that treatments around the body may be accompanied by adverse health consequences. An important task for teachers and educators is shaping beliefs that health is an existential value and that health protection and health promotion require taking actions, the effects of which may not be visible on the surface of the body.Podjęta problematyka koncentruje się na edukacyjnych aspektach antropologicznie uwarunkowanego związku między ciałem i zdrowiem. Znamienną cechą współczesnego społeczeństwa, określanego mianem somatycznego, jest ekspansja kultury ciała oraz upatrywanie w ciele podstawy formowania się tożsamości przy jednoczesnym niedostrzeganiu konsekwencji zdrowotnych, jakie mogą towarzyszyć dokonywanym na ciele zabiegom. Stąd ważnym zadaniem nauczycieli i pedagogów jest kształtowanie u wychowanków przekonania, że zdrowie jest wartością egzystencjalną oraz o tym, że jego ochrona i doskonalenie może wymagać podejmowania działań, których efekty nie są widoczne na powierzchniach ciała

Środowisko psychospołeczne szkoły a zdrowie uczniów

School’s participation in creation of health potential of its students is of two-dimensional character. It is built through formation of personal resources for health in a child and through shaping of health conducing environmental factors. Psychosocial environment of the school constitutes fundamental element of environmental resources for the health of the pupils because it participates in satisfaction theirs psychical needs. This article comprises theoretical reflections about this issue and results of quantities’ studies focuses on dependence between the climate of the school and students’ psychosocial dimension of health
