The study examines the most significant problems associated with the formation of the communicative culture of preschool children. The main attention is paid to gaming technologies that have a high level of pedagogical efficiency. The reasons for the emergence of problems in the communicative interactions of preschoolers are analyzed; the theoretical foundations in the organization of research aimed at creating a play space that forms the communicative culture of preschool children are proposed. Organizational and pedagogical conditions for the development of the communication skills of preschoolers are highlighted, among which are game technologies that use the capabilities of theatrical art, which can become the basis for the functional development of a preschooler’s personality and their ability to fully communicate with others. On the other hand, the very communicative culture of preschool children is assessed as a mechanism of their socialization and inculturation. The study provides a typology of gaming technologies that are relevant for the development of individual communication skills and the general personal development of children of this age. The study may be of interest to a wide range of specialists in the field of preschool pedagogy, psychology, and children’s art.

Prophylactic rivaroxaban in the early post-discharge period reduces the rates of hospitalization for atrial fibrillation and incidence of sudden cardiac death during long-term follow-up in hospitalized COVID-19 survivors

Introduction: While acute Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) affects the cardiovascular (CV) system according to recent data, an increased CV risk has been reported also during long-term follow-up (FU). In addition to other CV pathologies in COVID-19 survivors, an enhanced risk for arrhythmic events and sudden cardiac death (SCD) has been observed. While recommendations on post-discharge thromboprophylaxis are conflicting in this population, prophylactic short-term rivaroxaban therapy after hospital discharge showed promising results. However, the impact of this regimen on the incidence of cardiac arrhythmias has not been evaluated to date. Methods: To investigate the efficacy of this therapy, we conducted a single center, retrospective analysis of 1804 consecutive, hospitalized COVID-19 survivors between April and December 2020. Patients received either a 30-day post-discharge thromboprophylaxis treatment regimen using rivaroxaban 10 mg every day (QD) (Rivaroxaban group (Riva); n = 996) or no thromboprophylaxis (Control group (Ctrl); n = 808). Hospitalization for new atrial fibrillation (AF), new higher-degree Atrioventricular-block (AVB) as well as incidence of SCD were investigated in 12-month FU [FU: 347 (310/449) days].Results: No differences in baseline characteristics (Ctrl vs Riva: age: 59.0 (48.9/66.8) vs 57 (46.5/64.9) years, p = n.s.; male: 41.5% vs 43.7%, p = n.s.) and in the history of relevant CV-disease were observed between the two groups. While hospitalizations for AVB were not reported in either group, relevant rates of hospitalizations for new AF (0.99%, n = 8/808) as well as a high rate of SCD events (2.35%, n = 19/808) were seen in the Ctrl. These cardiac events were attenuated by early post-discharge prophylactic rivaroxaban therapy (AF: n = 2/996, 0.20%, p = 0.026 and SCD: n = 3/996, 0.30%, p < 0.001) which was also observed after applying a logistic regression model for propensity score matching (AF: χ2-statistics = 6.45, p = 0.013 and SCD: χ2-statistics = 9.33, p = 0.002). Of note, no major bleeding complications were observed in either group. Conclusion: Atrial arrhythmic and SCD events are present during the first 12 months after hospitalization for COVID-19. Extended prophylactic Rivaroxaban therapy after hospital discharge could reduce new onset of AF and SCD in hospitalized COVID-19 survivors

Mapping genomic loci implicates genes and synaptic biology in schizophrenia

Schizophrenia has a heritability of 60-80%1, much of which is attributable to common risk alleles. Here, in a two-stage genome-wide association study of up to 76,755 individuals with schizophrenia and 243,649 control individuals, we report common variant associations at 287 distinct genomic loci. Associations were concentrated in genes that are expressed in excitatory and inhibitory neurons of the central nervous system, but not in other tissues or cell types. Using fine-mapping and functional genomic data, we identify 120 genes (106 protein-coding) that are likely to underpin associations at some of these loci, including 16 genes with credible causal non-synonymous or untranslated region variation. We also implicate fundamental processes related to neuronal function, including synaptic organization, differentiation and transmission. Fine-mapped candidates were enriched for genes associated with rare disruptive coding variants in people with schizophrenia, including the glutamate receptor subunit GRIN2A and transcription factor SP4, and were also enriched for genes implicated by such variants in neurodevelopmental disorders. We identify biological processes relevant to schizophrenia pathophysiology; show convergence of common and rare variant associations in schizophrenia and neurodevelopmental disorders; and provide a resource of prioritized genes and variants to advance mechanistic studies

The evaluation of sustainable development for the manufacturers of construction-polymer products

The authors studied the indicators that impacted on the sustainable development of industrial enterprises and developed the comprehensive method for their evaluation. This methodology consists of 4 stages: data collection, evaluation of indicators, identification of deviations from the principles of sustainable development, recommendations for adjusting the business model and the network structure of cooperation. A scoring evaluation of the indicators of sustainable development for enterprises is proposed. The authors selected 12 indicators and grouped them according to the economic, environmental and social principles of sustainable development. The study identified seven classes of sustainability for enterprises and their characteristics. If enterprises had higher score, it meant they had higher class and higher sustainability, and vice versa. The method was tested on the example of the evaluation of production of construction-polymer products for 2020. The proposed methodology will enable enterprises to independently evaluate the level of sustainable development. It will also show deviations from the norm separately for each principle of sustainable development. The perspective of this study is that it is possible to develop recommendations for each class of sustainable development

The role of quality standards for chemical products existing on the markets of the European Union in development of innovative entrepreneurship

The article studies the method of assessment of the impact of standards on the results of the industry: innovation, product quality, generation of waste, level of “Green Economy” and foreign trade. The approbation which has been carried out for chemical products from 26 countries of the EU in 2018 (based on the cluster analysis is given in the study). It has been concluded that the high level of coverage of standards stimulates innovation of recycling. The level of foreign trade, and the generation of waste occur regardless of the level of coverage of the standards. The high speed of implementation of the standard ensures the high level of “Green Economy”. The more permanent policy of standards ensures high quality of products. Germany is the benchmark for the high level of influence of standards on the results in the chemical industry. For the rest counties of the EU, the potential of standards is not fully disclosed for reasons of insufficient coverage of standards or a large volume of waste. This assessment allows finding the benchmark of the country for study of the positive impact of standards and it helps to identify the successful strategies of standards for achieving high results in the industry
