Acompañamiento pedagógico y desempeño docente de las instituciones educativas de Chulucanas, Piura 2023
Este estudio planteó como objetivo general: Determinar la relación entre el
acompañamiento pedagógico y el desempeño docente de las Instituciones
Educativas de Chulucanas, 2023. Con un tipo de investigación básica, diseño no
experimental, correlacional descriptivo de corte transversal. Se aplico dos
encuestas a los 40 docentes, seleccionado mediante el muestre no probalistico. El
recojo de información de las variables acompañamiento pedagógico y desempeño
docente se consideró la técnica de la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario
el cual fue validado por juicio de expertos y alcanzaron un alto índice de
confiabilidad.
Los resultados para conocer el nivel de acompañamiento pedagógico encontramos
que un 40.0 % de los maestros entrevistados afirman que existe un nivel regular,
mientras que un 60.0 % manifiestan que el nivel es bueno, sobre el desempeño
docente el 95% de docentes manifiestan que el nivel es bueno. Así mismo,
mediante el estadístico de Spearman (rho) se obtuvo el valor de 0,047 el mismo
que nos da una correlación positiva débil
Quantitative Changes in Biofilms of a Seawater Tubular Heat Exchanger Subjected to Electromagnetic Fields Treatment
Biofilms adhesion is one of the more important cost
of industries plants on wide world, which use to water for cooling
heat exchangers or are in contact with water. This study evaluated
the effect of Electromagnetic Fields on biofilms in tubular heat
exchangers using seawater cooling. The results showed an up to 40%
reduction of the biofilm thickness compared to the untreated control
tubes. The presence of organic matter was reduced by 75%, the
inorganic mater was reduced by 87%, and 53% of the dissolved solids
were eliminated. The biofilm thermal conductivity in the treated tube
was reduced by 53% as compared to the control tube. The hardness
in the effluent during the experimental period was decreased by 18%
in the treated tubes compared with control tubes. Our results show
that the electromagnetic fields treatment has a great potential in the
process of removing biofilms in heat exchanger
Distrofia foveomacular viteliforme del adulto
Four cases of adult-onset foveomacular vitelliform dystrophy are shown. In two cases we were able to complete the exploration under optical coherence tomography. One of the patients developed spontaneous disappearance of the subfoveal deposit in her right eye along with an important decrease in her visual acuity.
Discussion: Adult-onset foveomacular vitelliform dystrophy is characterized by yellowish round-shaped bilateral, lesions in the subfoveal area. FacePET: Enhancing Bystanders\u27 Facial Privacy with Smart Wearables/Internet of Things
Given the availability of cameras in mobile phones, drones and Internet-connected devices, facial privacy has become an area of major interest in the last few years, especially when photos are captured and can be used to identify bystanders’ faces who may have not given consent for these photos to be taken and be identified. Some solutions to protect facial privacy in photos currently exist. However, many of these solutions do not give a choice to bystanders because they rely on algorithms that de-identify photos or protocols to deactivate devices and systems not controlled by bystanders, thereby being dependent on the bystanders’ trust in these systems to protect his/her facial privacy. To address these limitations, we propose FacePET (Facial Privacy Enhancing Technology), a wearable system worn by bystanders and designed to enhance facial privacy. We present the design, implementation, and evaluation of the FacePET and discuss some open research issues
A User Study of a Wearable System to Enhance Bystanders’ Facial Privacy
The privacy of users and information are becoming increasingly important with the growth and pervasive use of mobile devices such as wearables, mobile phones, drones, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Today many of these mobile devices are equipped with cameras which enable users to take pictures and record videos anytime they need to do so. In many such cases, bystanders’ privacy is not a concern, and as a result, audio and video of bystanders are often captured without their consent. We present results from a user study in which 21 participants were asked to use a wearable system called FacePET developed to enhance bystanders’ facial privacy by providing a way for bystanders to protect their own privacy rather than relying on external systems for protection. While past works in the literature focused on privacy perceptions of bystanders when photographed in public/shared spaces, there has not been research with a focus on user perceptions of bystander-based wearable devices to enhance privacy. Thus, in this work, we focus on user perceptions of the FacePET device and/or similar wearables to enhance bystanders’ facial privacy. In our study, we found that 16 participants would use FacePET or similar devices to enhance their facial privacy, and 17 participants agreed that if smart glasses had features to conceal users’ identities, it would allow them to become more popular
Mejora en la disponibilidad de los camiones grúa en la empresa I.T.E. Contratistas Generales S.R.L.
El presente proyecto profesional se desarrolla en la empresa I.T.E. Contratistas Generales S.R.L, empresa que brinda servicios de alquiler de camiones grúa.
El proyecto tiene como objetivo la mejora de la disponibilidad de los camiones grúa en una determinada obra. Para ello, se realizó un análisis de la situación de la empresa durante los años 2014 – 2018, teniendo como resultado una disponibilidad promedio de 78 y 74% para Lima y provincia respectivamente. Este resultado se generó a partir de una mala gestión de los procesos logísticos, falta de infraestructura y procedimientos de mantenimiento, así como de gestión de inventarios.
Después de identificar las causas raíz, se presentaron las soluciones para cada problema tales como: la implementación de un taller de mantenimiento propio que permitió tener un espacio adecuado para los mantenimientos, pruebas de los equipos, almacenamiento de repuestos e insumos y procedimientos de control y supervisión de maquinaria y personal. Además, para tener un control de los inventarios se implementó un Kardex, así como la metodología de las 5s que permitió identificar adecuadamente cada ítem como herramientas, filtros, mangueras, sensores, aditivos, entre otros, en el almacén.
Finalmente, con la implementación de la mejora se obtuvo un aumento de la disponibilidad y una reducción de costos por camión grúa paralizado.The present professional project was developed by the company I.T.E. Contratistas Generales S.R.L., a company that provides crane truck rental services.
The project aims to improve the availability of crane trucks at a particular construction site. To achieve this, an analysis of the company's situation was conducted for the years 2014 – 2018, resulting in an average availability of 78% and 74% for Lima and the province, respectively. This outcome stemmed from poor management of logistical processes, lack of infrastructure and maintenance procedures, as well as inventory management.
After identifying the root causes, solutions were proposed for each problem, such as the implementation of an in-house maintenance workshop, which provided adequate space for maintenance, equipment testing, spare parts and supplies storage, and machinery and personnel control and supervision procedures. Additionally, to control inventories, a Kardex was implemented, along with the 5S methodology, which allowed for proper identification of each item such as tools, filters, hoses, sensors, additives, among others, in the warehouse.
Finally, with the implementation of these improvements, there was an increase in availability and a reduction in costs due to crane trucks being idle
Aceite de silicona para el tratamiento de la maculopatía hipotónica
Case report: We report a case of a man who developed hypotonic maculopathy after vitreoretinal surgery for anterior proliferative vitreoretinopathy. After an injection of intravitreal triamcinolone, the ocular pressure did not increase, therefore silicone oil was injected. After this, the visual acuity increased and the choroidal and retinal folds regressed.
Discussion: Hypotonic maculopathy is a frustrating problem, often resulting in poor visual acuity. There are not many effective treatments. The injection of silicone oil could be an alternative to increase the intraocular pressure and re-establish the normal anatomy of the eye, improving the visual acuity in some patient
Propiedades mecánicas y microestructurales del adobe adicionando fibras de sisal y polipropileno
Gran parte de la población peruana construye con adobe por ser una de las maneras más
económicas, también es considerado como el material más longevo de la construcción, estas
construcciones presentan deferencias frente a distintos acontecimientos físicos y mecánicos,
baja resistencia y elevado peso, por ello al transcurrir el tiempo se busca encontrar un tipo de
fibra estabilizante que mejore sus propiedades, como la Fibra de Sisal y la Fibra de
Polipropileno. Entonces ¿ Es posible mejorar las propiedades mecánicas y microestructurales
del adobe adicionando fibras de Sisal y Polipropileno en porcentajes 0.25%, 0.50%, 0.75% y
1% en su elaboración? , Esta investigación de carácter experimental – cuantitativa tiene como
objetivo principal Evaluar las propiedades mecánicas y microestructurales del adobe óptimo
final, sometiéndolos a distintos ensayos normados por el RNE-2018, como resistencia a la
compresión, en pilas y diagonal en muretes, flexión y succión. Se inició elaborando un adobe
convencional con dimensiones descritas en la Norma peruana E080-2018, también se
elaboraron adobes adicionando fibras de sisal en porcentajes de 0.25%, 0.50%, 0.75% y 1%
en proporción al peso de la unidad de adobe, llegando a tener una mezcla óptima, a ésta se
le adicionó porcentajes de fibras de Polipropileno 0.25%, 0.50%, 0.75% y 1%, obteniendo así
nuestra mezcla óptima final; concluyendo que añadir Fibras de Sisal y Fibras de Polipropileno
mejorarán sus propiedades mecánicas y microestructurales del adobe, teniendo como
resultados una adición del 1% para la fibra de Sisal y de ésta adicionar el 0.50% de fibra de

Hemorragia submacular traumática tratada con rt-PA y SF6
This patient was afflicted by a traumatic submacular hemorrhage. A
posterior vitrectomy was performed and intravitreal rt-PA and SF6 were
administered. Four weeks later, the visual acuity had increased from 0.1 to 0.8.
No complications due to the treatment with rt-PA were reported. DISCUSSION: It is
known that waiting for the spontaneous blood removal in such cases results in a
poor visual acuity recovery due to a toxic effect of the blood products. Both
rt-PA and the SF6 are useful for the treatment of submacular hemorrhages
secondary to age-related macular degeneration, and this case report has shown
they are also useful to lyse traumatic blood clots, thus contributing to a better
recovery of visual acuity
Triamcinolona intravítrea en el tratamiento de la oclusión de rama venosa retiniana
Clinical cases: Five eyes with branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO) were treated with intravitreal injection of 4 mg of triamcinolone. Four cases showed good visual acuity and macular thickness evolution after one dose. The remaining one case suffered a relapse three months later. Therefore a second injection was performed in that case.
Discussion: Several treatments have been suggested to manage macular edema in BRVO. Intravitreal triamcinolone may be a therapeutic option to increase visual acuity and decrease macular thickness in patients with macular edema secondary to BRV
