Impacto de la resiliencia en pacientes con Artritis Reumatoide

Introducción: La artritis reumatoide (AR) es una enfermedad autoinmune-inflamatoria, que compromete las articulaciones diartrodiales. Tiene una importante repercusión sistémica que incluye la depresión; por lo tanto, tiene un severo impacto sobre la calidad de vida. Es posible que mecanismos de defensa, tales como la resiliencia, puedan amortiguar dicho impacto. Metodología: estudio de corte transversal, multicéntrico (análisis inicial dentro del grupo AR, con muestra no probabilística de 66 pacientes, posterior selección aleatoria simple de 16 pacientes de la muestra inicial y selección de 16 individuos sanos pareados). Posteriormente, se comparó la resiliencia entre sujetos con AR y sujetos sanos, mediante las escalas RS y CD-RISC25. Adicionalmente, se aplicaron las escalas EEAE, EADZ, SF-36 y PANAS. Los datos fueron evaluados mediante el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman, las pruebas U Mann-Whitney, Kruskall-Wallis, T de Student y análisis de varianza. Resultados: se encontraron diferencias significativas en las estrategias de afrontamiento no espirituales en grupos de resiliencia baja, media y alta; diferencias en las medianas de resiliencia en los grupos de depresión por EAZD en los pacientes. No se encontraron resultados significativos en las variables clínicas de la AR ni en la comparación con sujetos sanos. Conclusiones: el uso de estrategias de afrontamiento no espirituales y la ausencia de depresión, se asoció a mayores niveles de resiliencia en los pacientes con AR, por lo cual, los componentes emocionales y cognitivos se asocian a la resiliencia.Introduction: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune-inflammatory disease, which affects diarthrodial joints. It has a significant systemic impact including depression; therefore, it has a severe impact on quality of life. It is possible that defense mechanisms, such as resilience to cushion the impact. Methodology: cross-sectional study, multicenter (Initial analysis within the AR group, with non-probabilistic sample of 66 patients, subsequent simple random selection of 16 patients of the initial sample and selection of 16 matched healthy individuals). Subsequently, resilience among subjects with RA and healthy subjects were compared, using the RS and CD-RISC25 scales. Additionally, EEAE, EADZ, SF-36 and PANAS scales were applied. Data were evaluated using the Spearman correlation coefficient, the Mann-Whitney U Test, Kruskal-Wallis, T Student, and ANOVA. Results: Significant differences were found in the non-spiritual coping strategies in groups of low, medium and high resilience; differences in the medians of resilience groups EAZD depression in patients. No significant results were found in clinical variables or the RA compared to healthy subjects. Conclusions: The use of non-spiritual coping strategies and the absence of depression, was associated with higher levels of resilience in RA patients, therefore, the emotional and cognitive components associated with resilience.Centro de Estudio de Enfermedades Autoinmunes (CREA

Refugiados nicaragüenses y desplazados en Honduras en la década de los ochentas

El presente artículo tiene como objetivos describir la situación de los refugiados nicaragüenses establecidos en el departamento de El Paraíso, en la región oriental de Honduras a partir del triunfo de la revolución sandinista en Nicaragua en 1979, así como el de establecer la relación existente entre el surgimiento de los desplazados de guerra hondureños y el asentamiento de los contrarrevolucionarios nicaragüenses en dicho país. Honduras se convirtió en receptora de refugiados provenientes de los países vecinos en conflicto, y al mismo tiempo en la base de operaciones de los grupos contrainsurgentes que tenían como finalidad derrocar al régimen sandinista de Nicaragua. El presente trabajo se centra en el análisis documental y la recolección de información mediante entrevistas haciendo uso de fuentes primarias y secundarias, intentando profundizar en dos fenómenos fundamentales de esta etapa, los refugiados nicaragüenses y los desplazados de guerra.; This article aims to describe the situation of Nicaraguan refugees settled in the department of El Paraíso, in the east of Honduras, after the Sandinista’s revolution victory in 1979 as well as to stablish the relationship between the emergence of Honduran war-displaced and the Nicaraguan counter-revolutionary settlements in this country.  Honduras became the recipient of refugees coming from the neighbor countries in conflict and also the operations base to counterinsurgency groups which objective was to overthrow the Nicaraguan Sandinist regime. Desarrollo del sistema de requisiciones para la empresa hidroeléctrica Abanico S.A. Aplicando el entorno de programación Node.js

La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad el desarrollo de un sistema de requisiciones para la empresa Hidroeléctrica Abanico. S.A. aplicando el entorno de programación NodeJS. El desarrollo del sistema se lo hizo a través de Microsoft Solutions Framework, esta metodología fue útil para la gestión de riesgos, ayuda con el soporte y mantenimiento, además se enfocó en la gestión y administración del proyecto para lograr el impacto deseado. El sistema se diseñó para automatizar el proceso de pedidos de requisición a través de una aplicación web que se encuentre activa en un browser en las 3 principales instalaciones de la empresa (oficina, casa de máquinas, represa). En el desarrollo se integró Django para el módulo de administración, este framework ayudo en el desarrollo rápido y pragmático. El servidor de notificaciones fue realizado en NodeJS, utilizando websockets, permitiendo la comunicación bidireccional en tiempo real entre cliente y el servidor en un mismo socket, utilizando una conexión TCP. La medición de resultados se lo hizo por medio del sistema de escalas de usabilidad (SUS) lo que permitió medir la usabilidad por medio de encuestas a los usuarios obteniendo una aceptación satisfactoria del sistema. De esta forma se pudo concluir que la utilización del sistema ayuda en el seguimiento y control de requisiciones. Al ser una aplicación escalable, se recomienda la implementación del módulo de proveedores para complementar el pedido de la requisición. PALABRASThe purpose of the present investigation was to develop a requisition system for the hydroelectric company Abanico S.A. flushing the NodeJS programming environment. The development of the system was done through Microsoft Solutions Framework, this methodology was useful for risk management, help with support and maintenance, also focused on the management and administration of the project to achieve the desired impact. The system was designed to automate the requisition request process through a web application that is active in a browser in the three main facilities of the company (office, powerhouse, and dam). In the development Django was integrated for the administration module, this framework helped in the rapid and pragmatic development. The notification server was realized in NodeJS, using websockets, allowing bidirectional communication in real time between the client and the server in the same socket, using a TCP connection. The measurement of the results was done through the system of scales for usability (SUS), which allowed to measure the usability by means of user surveys, obtaining a satisfactory acceptance of the system. In this way it was possible to conclude that the use of the system helps in the follow-up and control of requisitions. Being a scalable application, it is recommended to implement the suppliers module to complement the requisition request

Restricción de conciliación en delitos de tránsito con resultado de muerte o lesiones graves que causan incapacidad permanente, provincia de Santa Elena 2021

Actualmente, el estado ecuatoriano presenta un retardo en la dificultad que presenta en el despacho de las causas en las Unidades Judiciales penales en materia de tránsito, atentando en primera instancia en el principio de celeridad, la conciliación, siendo una de las medidas de mediación para el correcto proceso que se debe desarrollar cuando existen los delitos de tránsito, se presenta como una alternativa en el ejercicio penal sin que se constituya en un reemplazo o exclusión del sistema judicial que pasa a ser verdaderamente de última ratio, procurando ciertamente un uso eficiente y racional de los recursos del Estado ya que logra mayor agilidad en el proceso penal, descongestionamiento de la justicia y satisfacción para las partes litigantes. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo general. Fomentar la cultura de seguridad vial, Estudiar, Analizar y Determinar como la falta de acuerdos extrajudiciales, como la conciliación dentro de los delitos de tránsito influye en la no reparación integral de la víctima y victima indirecta de los delitos de tránsito que ocasionen la muerte o resultado conlleve a lesiones con incapacidad permanente, eliminando las restricciones que existen en la actualidad. La metodología aplicada tipo de estudio de enfoque metodológico cualitativo, el mismo que muestra un estudio jurídico de los preceptos conciliatorios en delitos de tránsito que provoquen lesiones graves como incapacidad permanente. Los instrumentos de investigación fueron las encuestas y las entrevistas aplicada a la población que son los conductores de cooperativas inscritas en la provincia de Santa Elena y los abogados que ejercen en la Provincia de Santa Elena inscritos en el Consejo de la Judicatura. Los resultados obtenidos fueron que los criterios de los encuestados y entrevistados respaldan la idea a defender de la necesidad que exista la conciliación como mecanismos de mediación penal

Cell Biology of Virus Infection. The Role of Cytoskeletal Dynamics Integrity in the Effectiveness of Dengue Virus Infection

The cell biology of viral infections is the focus of this research, in which the role of the cytoskeleton in dengue virus (DENV) replication in cell cultures was evaluated by means of Nocodazole and Cytochalasin D treatments before and after of DENV infection. The potential contribution of cytoskeleton elements with/without the treatment of depolymerizing agents was evidenced and quantified by the subcellular distribution of viral proteins, virions produced, and viral protein quantification. The cytoskeleton is involved in DENV replication because treatments with actin microfilaments and microtubule depolymerizing agents in non-cytotoxic concentrations, affected DENV2 replication in Vero cells and decreased both the viral protein expression and infectious virion production, when compared with non-treated cells. The actin and microtubules are partly involved in DENV2 replication, since the treatment does not completely blocked viral replication, suggesting that these components are necessary but not sufficient alone for DENV2 replication in Vero cells. The structural and functional role of actin and the microtubules in replication are postulated here, opening new perspectives for understanding the architecture of the replicative complex and viral morphogenesis processes, due to the role of the cytoskeleton in the organization, recruitment, and function of the cellular elements necessary for the assembly of viral factories

Metodología para el desarrollo de productos en el sector de la fabricación de muebles en las microempresas de la localidad de Engativá.

El presente trabajo de grado se inició con una investigación acerca de las características más importantes de las microempresas del sector manufacturero de muebles para el hogar, oficina, comercio y servicios, dentro de la localidad de Engativá en la ciudad de Bogotá. El común denominador del estudio resulta ser la dificultad que poseen los microempresarios para desarrollar sus productos, esto se debe a la ausencia de conocimientos para innovar y la insuficiente visión que éstos poseen en cuanto a desarrollo empresarial se refiere. Los microempresarios manifiestan interés en realizar actividades que mejoren el desempeño de su empresa, pero por otra parte, la falta de capital económico les impide acceder a herramientas tecnológicas. En este contexto y con base en las investigaciones realizadas a las empresas del subsector de interés, se pretende presentar una metodología de bajo costo que proporcione una base para mejorar aspectos de funcionamiento interno y desarrollo de los productos en las microempresas.The following Project started with an investigation about the most important characteristics of micro enterprises in the furniture manufacturing industry for homes, offices, commerce and services within the Engativa area in the city of Bogota. The study´s common denominator is the difficulty small business owners have to develop their products, due to the lack of knowledge to innovate and the insufficient vision these possess regarding business growth. Small business owners manifest their interest in developing activities that improve the company´s performance. On the other hand, the lack of economical resources does not allow them to have access to technological tools. Environmentally Responsible Purchase Intention in Pacific Alliance Countries: Geographic and Gender Evidence in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic

The objectives of this research were: (1) to examine the influence of environmental awareness (EA), sustainable consumption (SC) and social responsibility (SR) on the environmentally responsible purchase intention (ERPI) of consumers in the member countries of the Pacific Alliance, namely, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru; and (2) to analyze whether there is a moderating effect related to the country of residence and gender of the consumer. The study was conducted under a quantitative and cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 1646 consumers: 24.4% from Peru (n = 402), 25.4% from Mexico (n = 418), 26.1% from Colombia (n = 401) and 24.1% from Chile (n = 397). Data analysis and hypothesis testing were performed using a multigroup Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results show a positive influence among environmental awareness (EA), sustainable consumption (SC) and social responsibility (SR) on environmentally responsible purchase intention (ERPI). Gender and country of residence were also shown to be moderating variables in these relationships. In conclusion, it can be affirmed that the participants of this study recognize the importance of acquiring environmentally friendly products. Among them, the female population is more aware of this issue. It is recommended new business models be created to provide products and services oriented to this market according to consumers’ tastes, desires and purchasing preferences; the proposals they have should be friendly to the environment and to society

Perception of Green Product Consumption in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic in an Emerging Economy

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in changes in consumer behavior and has created new opportunities and challenges for the provisioning of green products in emerging economies. The objective of this study was to identify how perceptions on COVID-19 affected the variables of planned behavior and responsible purchase intention during the pandemic in Colombia. A total of 320 consumers participated in an online survey, and the responses were analyzed using a structural equation model (SEM) and AMOS 24 statistical software. The results were positive regarding the development of better environmental awareness, indicating that COVID-19 (COV) influenced the attitude (ATT) of individuals and contributed to subjective norms (SNs) and perceived behavioral control (PBC), and that SNs and ATT influence eco-friendly purchase intention (EFPI). However, PBC does not contribute to EFPI. Colombian consumers have become aware of the importance to society of buying eco-friendly products, and planned behavior is an opportunity for organizations to formulate new portfolios relevant to the needs of the market. This is an important opportunity to sensitize consumers to the purchase of environmentally friendly products and for the identification of commercial strategies by companies that bet on the formulation and commercialization of eco-friendly portfolios that generate value for society
