Cutral Có y Plaza Huíncul son dos ciudades que, como sucedió con otras a lo largo del país, crecieron al amparo de Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales (YPF). Con el último golpe militar, que instauró en nuestro país profundas reformas neoliberales, se fue socavando el papel del Estado en la economía y en la previsión social, lo que produjo un avasallamiento de las conquistas del pueblo. A diez años de los levantamientos populares en Cutral Có y Plaza Huíncul se indagó, a partir del análisis de las representaciones de los participantes, qué herencia cultural dejó ese proceso en las localidades. Para ello, se investigó de qué manera los pobladores relataban la historia de estas localidades y de qué forma contaban los episodios de protesta. En función de eso, se identificaron transformaciones en la manera de ver, de verse y de pensarse como colectivo, que pueden sintetizarse en tres ejes. En primer lugar, la pueblada  aparece como una bisagra a partir de la que se relata la historia de estos pueblos. En segundo lugar, en las representaciones de los entrevistados existe una identidad en disputa: la de pueblo petrolero, que en distintos momentos históricos se articula o se fragmenta y que durante las puebladas tiene un momento de cristalización. Por último, se visualizan una serie de prácticas, símbolos y valores, que fueron creados, seleccionados,  retomados o transformados desde los episodios de protesta y que se ponen en juego en las representaciones y en acciones colectivas posteriores.

Mortality increase after hip fracture in aged patients during the first 6 months of the covid-19 epidemic

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic modified hospital functioning, social mobility and assistance to the elderly. These factors may alter hip fracture evolution. Methods: Retrospective study of patients > 65 years suffering hip fracture fromthe 1st of March to the 31st of August of 2020, and compared with patients from the same period of 2019; 199 patients from 2019 (79.4%women) (mean age: 84.9 ± 7.72 years), and 203 patients from 2020 (69.5%women) (mean age: 85.37 ± 8.13 years). Extracapsular fractures were 57.3% in 2019, and 58.6% in 2020. Follow-up was made until death or 6 months after surgery. Results: In 2019, 44 patients (22.1%) died in the six postoperative months, and 61 patients (30%) in 2020 (OR 1.513; 95% CI 0.96–2.37; p = 0.199). There were no significant differences in mortality during postfracture hospitalization (11.1% in 2019; 11.82% in 2020) and in the first postoperative month (16.6% in 2019; 22.66% in 2020). Four patients died during hip fracture hospitalization over 8 patients presenting PCR+. In 30 patients SARS-CoV-2 infection was diagnosed during the six months after hip fracture in 13 patients thiswas the cause of death (21.3% of causes). Dementiawas associated with high mortality in patients with a SARS-CoV-2 diagnosis (6 out of 13 patients died with SARS-CoV-2 infection and dementia). Conclusions: An increase in the 6 postoperative months mortality in 2020 compared with the same period in 2019 was observed. An important cause of death was SARS-CoV-2 infection

Estandarización y mejora de las líneas de embalado de kits

En este trabajo fin de grado, se ha puesto de manifiesto la necesidad de implantar unamentalidad Lean Manufacturing en la empresa, y más en concreto, en la línea de embalado dekits. Para ello, se ha desarrollado un estudio de la línea de embalado de kits de armarios paraanalizar las causas de sus bajos nivel del OEE y valorar los motivos que ocasionaban tal merma.Antes de comenzar, se debe comprender el funcionamiento de la instalación, cuál es el flujode los materiales a lo largo de la línea, qué operaciones se realizan en cada estación y cómoestá organizado el equipo de trabajo.Al tratarse de un trabajo académico, a lo largo de todo el proyecto se ha estado trabajandocon herramientas Lean: 5S, SMED o sistemas de gestión de la calidad son algunos de los másrelevantes. En primer lugar, se ha realizado un análisis de la situación de la línea de producción,identificando y cuantificando todas las ineficiencias de la instalación para de esta forma, justificarla necesidad de implantar una serie de mejoras.Tras haber comprendido el funcionamiento de la línea, se ha tomado como principal indicadorsu OEE, ya que es de gran ayuda pues al estudiar en detalle todas las operaciones, procesos ysecuencias, y seleccionando aquellas que afectan negativamente a este indicador, puedebuscarse la causa raíz identificando las ineficiencias y mudas.Una vez son identificados los motivos de no eficiencia de la línea, se analizará cuál es suimportancia, relevancia y alcance para la producción y, con estos datos, se analizarán y definiránlos motivos por los cuales la instalación presenta bajos índices de eficiencia.Por último, entendido el funcionamiento de la línea de embalado e identificadas las causas ymotivos que hacen tener esos bajos niveles de eficiencia, se propondrán una serie de mejorascon la finalidad de incrementar su OEE.<br /

Urban ecodesign in the city of Barcelona

Dielectric behaviour of Hf-doped CaCu3Ti4O12 ceramics obtained by conventional synthesis and reactive sintering

CaCu3(Ti4xHfx)O12 ceramics (JC = 0.04, 0.1 and 0.2) were prepared by conventional synthesis (CS) and through reactive sintering (RS), in which synthesis and sintering of the material take place in one single step. The microstructure and the dielectric properties of Hf-doped CCTO (CCTOHf) have been studied by XRD, FE-SEM, AFM, Raman and impedance spectroscopy (IS) in order to correlate the structure, microstructure and the electrical properties. Samples prepared by reactive sintering show slightly higher dielectric constant than those prepared by conventional synthesis in the same way than the pure CCTO. Dielectric constant and dielectric losses decrease slightly increasing Hf content. For CCTOHf ceramics with x> 0.04 for CS and x> 0.1 for RS, a secondary phase HfTi04 appears. As expected, the reactive sintering processing method allows a higher incorporation of Hf in the CCTO lattice than the conventional synthesis one

The complex HLA-E-nonapeptide in Behçet disease

HLA-B, mainly HLA-B51, and HLA-A molecules are associated with disease, but the ultimate cause of this association remains obscure. There is evidence that NK cells participate in the etiopathology of BD. NK cells have activator and inhibitor surface receptors, like the KIR and the NKG2 families. Classical HLA-class I molecules (A, B and C) are keys in the activity control of the NK because they are KIR ligands. Most NKG2 receptors bind HLA-E, which presents only nonapeptides derived from the signal peptide of other class-I molecules. Objective: This study investigates the contribution of the pair HLA-E and ligand, nonapeptide derived from the 3-11 sequence of the signal peptides of class I classical molecules, to the susceptibility to BD. Methods: We analyzed the frequency of the HLA-derivated nonapeptide forms in 466 BD patients and 444 controls and an HLA-E functional dimorphism in a subgroup of patients and controls. Results: In B51 negative patients, the frequency of VMAPRTLLL was lower (70.4% versus 80.0% in controls; P=0.006, Pc=0.04, OR=0.60, 95%CI 0.41-0.86), and the frequency of VMAPRTLVL was higher (81.6% versus 71.4% in controls; P=0.004, Pc=0.03, OR=1.78, 95%CI 1.20-2.63). In homozygosity, VMAPRTLLL is protective, and VMAPRTLVL confers risk. The heterozygous condition is neutral. There were no significant differences in the distribution of the HLA-E dimorphism. Genetic connectivity between Atlantic bluefin tuna larvae spawned in the Gulf of Mexico and in the Mediterranean Sea

The highly migratory Atlantic bluefin tuna (ABFT) is currently managed as two distinct stocks, in accordance with natal homing behavior and population structuring despite the absence of barriers to gene flow. Larval fish are valuable biological material for tuna molecular ecology. However, they have hardly been used to decipher the ABFT population structure, although providing the genetic signal from successful breeders. For the first time, cooperative field collection of tuna larvae during 2014 in the main spawning area for each stock, the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) and the Mediterranean Sea (MED), enabled us to assess the ABFT genetic structure in a precise temporal and spatial frame exclusively through larvae. Partitioning of genetic diversity at nuclear microsatellite loci and in the mitochondrial control region in larvae spawned contemporarily resulted in low significant fixation indices supporting connectivity between spawners in the main reproduction area for each population. No structuring was detected within the GOM after segregating nuclear diversity in larvae spawned in two hydrographically distinct regions, the eastern GOM (eGOM) and the western GOM (wGOM), with the larvae from eGOM being more similar to those collected in the MED than the larvae from wGOM. We performed clustering of genetically characterized ABFT larvae through Bayesian analysis and by Discriminant Analysis of Principal Components (DAPC) supporting the existence of favorable areas for mixing of ABFT spawners from Western and Eastern stocks, leading to gene flow and apparent connectivity between weakly structured populations. Our findings suggest that the eastern GOM is more prone for the mixing of breeders from the two ABFT populations.
