    Added value from European Territorial Co-operation: the impact of demographic change in the Alps on the young

    The article sets demographic change in the Alps in the framework of European Territorial Cooperation programs. A statistical overview of selected regions in five Alpine countries serves as a basis for further policy analysis. The latter was undertaken to reveal how transnational projects tackle youth issues, including the difficulties within the labour and real estate markets that appeared to be the most problematic factors influencing (out) migration of the youth. While there is only a minor recognition of the young in current policymaking on supranational, regional and local levels, the analysis showed that the added value of transnational programs for mountain regions and localities can be recognized in the development of multi-stakeholder environments, creating and transferring new solutions for the labour market as well as empowering youth participation in policy processes. However, the extent to which these solutions might contribute to overcoming the challenges of demographic change because of transnational programs is limited by various factors. Among these are the precise governance framework, administrative capacity, and population figures

    The thesis describes how mathematicians calculated the approximations of the number π by using the series, based on the arc-tangent function. It also describes the proof of irrationality of the circular constant. The last two chapters show how to calculate the approximations of the number π, and the deviations in calculating the circumference and area of a circle and the volume and the area of a sphere by using different approximations for the number π, all with the help of the Derive computer program

    Ob likovnem ustvarjanju skupaj z otroki sem se velikokrat spraševala, na kakšni stopnji likovnega razvoja so, kaj mi sporočajo njihove risbe, njihove čačke itd. Ne samo simbolno, želela sem vedeti globlji pomen teh risb. Zanimalo me je, kaj otroci razmišljajo, kaj čutijo, ko vlečejo konico svinčnika po papirju, kaj se dogaja v njihovih glavah in duši. Vedela sem, da te risbe lahko sporočajo nekaj več kot le simbolično prepoznavanje elementov, zato sem se v tej diplomski nalogi odločila to področje raziskati. Ker pa sem od risanja in razvoja malčkov že veliko slišala in prebrala že med samim študijem, sem se odločila za malo bolj kompleksnejše obdobje, to je obdobje mladostništva oziroma pubertete. Mladostniki so razpeti med obdobjem otroštva in odraslosti, vstopijo v obdobje pubertete in polnega razcveta, pojavijo se neštete telesne spremembe in prav zaradi tega se njihova mnenja o samemu sebi najbolj spreminjajo. V diplomski nalogi se bom najprej osredotočila na obdobje mladostništva in na značilnosti tega obdobja. Zanimalo me bodo predvsem tisti najznačilnejši problemi mladostništva, ki na splošno mučijo pubertetnike. Iz njihovih avtoportretov bom na podlagi svojega mnenja in znanja ter prebrane literature poizkušala razbrati avtorjevo takratno počutje, iz načina risanja in pomenov ostalih elementov pa tudi druge lastnosti, ki bi se lahko tikale njega samega. S tem interpretiranjem risb ne bom dobila dokončnih rezultatov in mnenj o avtorjevem osebnem stanju in njegovih hotenjih, za to bi bilo potrebno še mnogo izkušenj in znanja.During artistical activities with children, I often wondered about their level of development, whether they know enough or could know more, what their drawings and doodles mean, etc. I wanted to learn not only about the symbolical, but also about the deeper meaning of their drawings – what children think, what they feel while they are moving the pen over the paper, what goes on in their minds and souls? I was aware that the drawings represent more than just symbols for everyday elements, so I decided to do more research in this area and present it in this diploma. After hearing and learning about children\u27s drawing and development during my years in college, I focused on a more complex period – adolescence or puberty. Adolescents are torn between childhood and adulthood when they enter puberty and their full bloom, they encounter numerous bodily changes and their opinion of themselves starts to alter. In this diploma I will first focus on adolescence and the characteristics of this period. Primarily, I will be interested in the most typical issues of adolescents. Then I will try to analyze the author\u27s current state of mind, as well as their other features based use their self-portraits and other graphical elements. Interpretation of the drawings will not represent the final result and opinion on the author\u27s state of mind and his or her aspirations because it would take many more years of experience and expertise to be able to do that

    Glina je prastara, brezoblična materija. Kdor pride v stik z njo, začuti potrebo, da bi ji dal obliko po svoji meri. Primerna je za roke, ki šele spoznavajo, kot za roke, ki poznajo vse nianse. Ob glini se človek sprosti v igri in resnem, načrtnem delu. V osnovi lahko o keramiki govorimo šele, ko glini, ki ji gospodari voda, preprečimo ponovni povratek v naravni krog vlaženja oziroma mehčanja in sušenja ter utrjevanja. To dosežemo z nadzorovanim ognjem, ki zahteva določeno stopnjo znanja in organiziranosti, kar je spet odvisno od načina obdelave in tehnike »okraševanja« izdelka. Na tej točki stopimo v krog, ki zahteva vse večjo disciplino in obvladovanje procesov. Rezultati kompleksnega dela se kažejo v rafiniranosti izdelkov ter v možnosti izbire oblik in izraznih vrednostih, uporabljenih v hotenih likovnih vsebinah. Pri predmetu Osnove keramike se študenti seznanijo z večino potrebnih tehnik in postopkov, ki jih kasneje nadgradijo in domislijo pri predmetu Kreativna keramika. Razstavljena dela ponujajo pogled na najbolj smele poizkuse študentov in demonstratorke Kristine Rutar, ki je za svoje delo prejela že več pomembnih priznanj. S podobnimi uspehi so razvoj keramike na Pedagoški fakulteti potrdili tudi drugi študenti. Vsem, ki so se upali izpostaviti s svojim delom, čestitam in jim želim uspešno raziskovanje tudi v prihodnje
