Diplomová práce je zaměřena na posouzení finanční situace firmy VYDOS SERVIS a.s. Dále uvádí možnosti pro její rozvoj ve střednědobém časovém horizontu. Standardním systémem dílčích analýz dochází k identifikaci zásadních problémů s návrhy na zlepšení.This Master´s thesis is concerned on the analysis of financial situation of the VYDOS SERVIS a.s. company. Then the company development in medium-term perspective. Problem identification and the proposals arise from the standard system of sectorial analysis.

Summary Cytokines play a major role in the control of inflammatory responses, participate in the regulation of blood phagocyte activities and as such are used for immunomodulatory therapy. In the present study, the influence of IL-10 on human blood phagocyte activity in the presence/absence of IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-α was tested in vitro. Our research analyzed the effects of cytokines on the production of reactive oxygen species measured by chemiluminescence and flow cytometry, and on the expression of surface molecules (CD11b, CD15, CD62L, CD31) measured by flow cytometry. IL-10 had no inhibitory effect on reactive oxygen species production and the expression of any examined adhesion molecule by resting or stimulated blood phagocytes within 3 h of incubation. Conversely, TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-8 increased reactive oxygen species production and the expression of CD11b and CD15 on both neutrophils and monocytes and decreased the expression of CD62L. These priming effects of the tested pro-inflammatory cytokines were not affected by IL-10. The obtained results suggest that IL-10 does not directly control blood phagocyte activation. These results also provide better information about the contribution of IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-α to the regulation of blood phagocyte-mediated inflammatory processes

Modelovanie kauzálních väzieb medzi priamymi zahraničnými investíciami, exportom a ekonomickým rastom v Chorvátsku

Foreign direct investment is generally considered to be an instrument how to stimulate economic growth of any country. For this purpose governments of transition countries try to encourage the inflow of foreign direct investment by various measures. The aim of this paper is to analyse the relation between foreign direct investment, economic growth and export in Croatia. For this purpose we apply cointegration analysis along with the vector error correction model. The results confirm the existence of a long-term relation between the variables analysed. We reveal a positive impact of GDP and negative impact of foreign direct investment on export

Gamification of application

Gamification has became very popular in recent years. Thanks to gamification, many companies manage to engage their employees and motivate them to achieve better results. The company SILIKA has also decided to integrate the elements of gamification into the application serving many global fast-moving-consumer-goods-focused companies. In this master thesis, a pilot proposal of the gamification solution was created for the company SILIKA. The literature review on gamification provided a theoretical background for the proposal and emphasized motivation of employees as being one of the key aspects of gamification. Based on the identified requirements from the partners of the company SILIKA, selected gamification elements were integrated in the proposal presented in this master thesis. Subsequently, the design was evaluated applying SWOT analysis which provides the basis for the next phases of the project. The proposal was also evaluated by the project sponsor which is published in the appendix of this paper.Gamifikácia je jedným z populárnych trendov súčasnosti, vďaka ktorej sa mnohým firmám darí angažovať svojich zamestnancov a motivovať ich k lepším výsledkom. Pre integráciu prvkov gamifikácie do svojej aplikácie, určenú pre trh so spotrebným tovarom, sa tiež rozhodla spoločnosť SILIKA. V rámci tejto diplomovej práce bol pre túto spoločnosť zhotovený pilotný návrh gamifikačného riešenia. Analýza literatúry v oblasti gamifikácie vytvorila teoretický podklad pre vytvorenie návrhu a poukázala na motiváciu zamestnancov ako na jeden z kľúčových aspektov gamifikácie. Na základe zistených požiadaviek na návrh riešenia od partnerov spoločnosti SILIKA boli vybrané prvky, ktoré sa stali súčasťou návrhu prezentovanom v tejto diplomovej práci. Následne bola uskutočnená analýza návrhu pomocou analytického nástroja SWOT, ktorá tvorí podklad pre ďalšie fázy projektu. Návrh bol zhodnotený tiež zadávateľom projektu, ktorý je uverejnený v prílohe tejto diplomovej práce.Gamifikace je jedním z populárních trendů současnosti, díky které se mnohým firmám daří angažovat své zaměstnance a motivovat je k lepším výsledkům. How much do we pay for a real estate ownership? A simulation approach

This thesis compares rent vs home ownership based on the net present value, within the periods of the Great Recession and current year. The analysis is focused on the Czech Republic real estate market as a whole. Rent and real estate price are forecasted, and factors determining the price of rent and real estate are identified. The ARIMA model used for forecasting performs accurate short-term predictions. The results expect 3,2 percent annual growth of rent in the following year and 7,2 percent increase for the real estate prices. The results of net present value analysis indicate, that for years 2008 and 2009 renting was superior choice, while for years 2011, 2013 and 2019 home ownership was to be preferred from financial aspect
