Mediastinal teratoma is a rare germ cell tumor. The mediastinum is the most common extragonadal site. Malignant tumors of the mediastinum account for 4β% of all extragonadal tumors of the mediastinum. Lynch syndrome (LS) resulting from the abnormal repair of unpaired DNA bases is characterized by an increased risk of colorectal, endometrial, and urinary tract cancers. Regardless of the tumor type, immunotherapy with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) has been approved for the treatment of patients with unresectable or metastatic DNA mismatch repairβ deficient (dMMR) tumors, which may present a treatment option for patients with LS. The article contains a case report of a female patient with a germline MLH1 mutation and multiple primary colonic malignancies treated with nivolumab for 26 months. Group - Theoretical representation of holohedral forms of crystals by conjugated simple forms. Intergrowth of crystals
The schemes for division of holohedral simple forms of crystals into conjugated simple forms are derived by decomposition of the symmetry group of the primitive sublattice into double cosets. The number of equivalently oriented simple forms in the intergrowth of crystals, whose primitive space sublattices are parallel to one another, is equal to the number of holohedral permutational conjugated simple forms, which has the value 992 for all the 32 symmetry classes. Metastatic lesions in muscles appear to be a rare manifestation of malignant neoplasms with an unfavorable prognosis. To date, due to the low incidence of metastases to the ileoβlumbar muscle, a definite concept of its treatment does not exist. The article describes the clinical case of a 33βyearβold patient after a combined treatment of colon cancer in 2017 who progressed 5 months after the end of chemotherapy. Pathomorphological examination after ileoβlumbar muscle lesion removal revealed metastasis of colon cancer adenocarcinoma. Background. Despite significount successes in treatment of rhabdomyosarcoma of urogenital system in children there are unresolved questions of choise of optimal chemotherapys combinations, intensity of chemotherapy, volumes and terms of radiotherapy, tactics of treatment residual tumors in last 3 decades.The objective: show 15 years experience of treatment local and locally prevalent rhabdomyosarcoma urogenital system in children. The prognosis for children and adolescents with rhabdomyosarcoma has improved with refinements in multi-modal therapy.Materials and methods. In reseach are included 86 patients with a median age of 8.4 (0.7β17) with a local genitourinary rhabdomyosarcoma, treated in N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Centre of Oncology from 2000 to 2016. All patients were treated in different riskadopted clinical protocol included chemotherapy and radiotherapy (IRS, SIOP, CWS and local protocol DORMS-6).Results. A 10-year overall survival and disease-free survival rates were 76 and 72 % in the entire group rhabdomyosarcoma patients, respectively.Conclusion. The effectiveness of the risk-adopted strategy in the genitourinary rhabdomyosarcoma treatment as well as the need of new approaches and in the cases of residual viable tumor after induction chemotherapy was demonstrated.Β ΠΠ²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½ΠΈΠ΅. The paper considers a promising and effective screen-type potato sorting, included in the mechanized complex for potato post-harvest processing and storage. The main technological equipment of potato sorting stations is a sorting device that separates potato tubers into size fractions. The paper emphasizes the relevance of developing effective methods for designing and calculating the parameters of this type sorting devices. (Research purpose) To upgrade the sizing machine drive by modifying the sieve movement patterns for improving its operation efficiency. (Materials and methods) The present research exploits the critical analysis methods of the theory of mechanisms and machines in order to design the optimal design of a sieve-type potato sorting drive. It is proposed to use a twoβstage drive mechanism. To compare the movement patterns of the screen sieves, the efficiency coefficient has been calculated for two drive options. (Results and discussion) It is obtained that the sieve efficiency coefficient is 0.30-1.65 for a screen type sorting device with a twoβstage drive mechanism, and equals 0.27-1.35 for a screen type sorting device with a crank drive mechanism. (Conclusions) It is recommended to use a lower drive shaft speed of β 13.12-14.76 radians per second, at the crank angular velocity of 20 radians per second in the crank drive mechanism.
