Admixtures to d-wave gap symmetry in untwinned YBa2Cu3O7 superconducting films measured by angle-resolved electron tunneling

We report on an \textit{ab}-anisotropy of $J_{c \parallel b}/J_{c \parallel a}$ and $I_{c}R_{n \parallel b}/I_{c}R_{n \parallel a}\cong 1.2$ in ramp-edge junctions between untwinned YBa$_{2}$Cu$_{3}$O$_{7}$ and $s$% -wave Nb. For these junctions, the angle $\theta$ with the YBa$_{2}$Cu$_{3}$O$_{7}$ crystal b-axis is varied as a single parameter. The $R_{n}$A($\theta$)-dependence presents 2-fold symmetry. The minima in $I_{c}R_{n}$ at $\theta \cong 50^{\circ}$ suggest a real s-wave subdominant component and negligible $d_{xy}$-wave or imaginary s-wave admixtures. The $I_{c}R_{n}$($\theta$)-dependence is well-fitted by 83% $d_{x^{2}-y^{2}}$-, 15% isotropic $s$- and 2% anisotropic s-wave order parameter symmetry, consistent with $\Delta_{b}/\Delta_{a} \cong 1.5$.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figures, to be published in Physical Review Letter

В статье исследуются вопросы правовой природы и механизм реализации территориальной общиной села права коммунальной собственности на землю, соотношения прав территориальной общины села и представительского органа местного самоуправления - сельского совета, относительно осуществления прав на распоряжение землей. Анализируется правосубъектность территориальной общины села относительно распоряжения землей коммунальной собственности. Transcriptome Analysis in Spleen Reveals Differential Regulation of Response to Newcastle Disease Virus in Two Chicken Lines.

Enhancing genetic resistance of chickens to Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV) provides a promising way to improve poultry health, and to alleviate poverty and food insecurity in developing countries. In this study, two inbred chicken lines with different responses to NDV, Fayoumi and Leghorn, were challenged with LaSota NDV strain at 21 days of age. Through transcriptome analysis, gene expression in spleen at 2 and 6 days post-inoculation was compared between NDV-infected and control groups, as well as between chicken lines. At a false discovery rate <0.05, Fayoumi chickens, which are relatively more resistant to NDV, showed fewer differentially expressed genes (DEGs) than Leghorn chickens. Several interferon-stimulated genes were identified as important DEGs regulating immune response to NDV in chicken. Pathways predicted by IPA analysis, such as "EIF-signaling", "actin cytoskeleton organization nitric oxide production" and "coagulation system" may contribute to resistance to NDV in Fayoumi chickens. The identified DEGs and predicted pathways may contribute to differential responses to NDV between the two chicken lines and provide potential targets for breeding chickens that are more resistant to NDV

Functionalizing the rear scatterer in a luminescent solar concentrator

Luminescent solar concentrators (LSCs) are presented that use a rear scattering layer made of a phosphorescent material for improving the use of the incident solar light spectrum. Besides simply scattering incident light that passes through the waveguide proper, the phosphor can absorb blue light and emit this light at a wavelength more amenable to absorption by the fluorescent dye. Integrated emission energies from the LSCs may be increased using the phosphor scatterer 4%–40% depending on the concentration of dye in the waveguide when compared to standard white scatterers
