Reusing Human Resources Management Standards for Employment Services
Employment Services (ESs) are becoming more and more important for Public Administrations where their social implications on sustainability, workforce mobility and equal opportunities play a fundamental strategic importance for any central or local Government. The EU SEEMP project aims at improving facilitate workers mobility in Europe. Ontologies are used to model descriptions of job offers and curricula; and for facilitating the process of exchanging job offer data and CV data between ES. In this paper we present the methodological approach we followed for reusing existing human resources management standards in the SEEMP project, in order to build a common “language” called Reference Ontology
Einstein boundary conditions for the Einstein equations in the conformal-traceless decomposition
In relation to the BSSN formulation of the Einstein equations, we write down
the boundary conditions that result from the vanishing of the projection of the
Einstein tensor normally to a timelike hypersurface. Furthermore, by setting up
a well-posed system of propagation equations for the constraints, we show
explicitly that there are three constraints that are incoming at the boundary
surface and that the boundary equations are linearly related to them. This
indicates that such boundary conditions play a role in enforcing the
propagation of the constraints in the region interior to the boundary.
Additionally, we examine the related problem for a strongly hyperbolic
first-order reduction of the BSSN equations and determine the characteristic
fields that are prescribed by the three boundary conditions, as well as those
that are left arbitrary.Comment: 11 page
Electric polarizability of nuclei from a longitudinal sum rule
The nuclear electric polarizability is theoretically analyzed using a sum
rule derived from the longitudinal part of the forward Compton amplitude.
Beyond the leading dipole contribution, this approach leads to the presence of
potential-dependent terms that do not show up in previous analyses. The
significance of these new contributions is illustrated by performing an
explicit calculation for a proton-neutron system interacting via a separable

Diffusion dynamics on multiplex networks
We study the time scales associated to diffusion processes that take place on
multiplex networks, i.e. on a set of networks linked through interconnected
layers. To this end, we propose the construction of a supra-Laplacian matrix,
which consists of a dimensional lifting of the Laplacian matrix of each layer
of the multiplex network. We use perturbative analysis to reveal analytically
the structure of eigenvectors and eigenvalues of the complete network in terms
of the spectral properties of the individual layers. The spectrum of the
supra-Laplacian allows us to understand the physics of diffusion-like processes

Electron concentration effects on the Shastry-Sutherland phase stability in Ce_{2-x}Pd_{2+y}In_{1-z} solid solutions
The stability of a Shastry-Sutherland ShSu phase as a function of electron
concentration is investigated through the field dependence of thermal and
magnetic properties of the solid solution Ce_{2-x}Pd_{2+y}In_{1-z} in the
antiferromagnetic branch. In these alloys the electronic (holes) variation is
realized by increasing concentration. The AF transition T_M decreases from
3.5K to 2.8K as concentration increases from y=0.2 to y=0.4. By applying
magnetic field, the ShSu phase is suppressed once the field induced
ferromagnetic polarization takes over at a critical field B_{cr} which
increases with content. A detailed analysis around the critical point
reveals a structure in the maximum of the dM/dB derivative, which is related
with incipient steps in the magnetization M(B) as predicted by the theory for
the ShSu lattice. The crossing of M(B) isotherms, observed in ShSu prototype
compounds, is also analyzed. The effect of substitution by is
interpreted as an increase of the number of 'holes' in the conduction band and
results in a unique parameter able to describe the variation of the magnetic
properties along the studied range of concentration.Comment: 8 pages, 11 figure
