COOPERATIVISMO E DESENVOLVIMENTO NO OESTE PARANAENSE: O CASO DA C.VALE NA REGIÃO DE PALOTINA/ PR

O objetivo deste artigo é analisar o desenvolvimento sócio-econômico ocorrido na região de atuação da C Vale Cooperativa Agroindustrial, após a industrialização avícola ocorrida em 1997. A pesquisa foi realizada com os cooperados da C. Vale, especialmente os que desenvolvem atividade avícola. O questionário contou com questões que avaliavam os motivos da associação do cooperado, a geração de renda, as condições sócio-econômicas, e a percepção do cooperado da importância da C. Vale para o desenvolvimento sócio-econômico da região. As cooperativas contribuem para a evolução dos seus associados em duas grandes dimensões, a econômica e a social. Na dimensão econômica com o melhoramento da renda através da melhor disponibilidade do produto ou serviços do cooperado para o mercado consumidor. Na dimensão social através da inclusão social e da disponibilização, ao cooperado, de novos conhecimentos, além de aproximá-lo de uma rede de contato com outros cooperados. A cooperativa foi apontada na pesquisa como fomentadora da educação local, através de cursos, palestras e seminários que são ministrados aos cooperados e colaboradores. A pesquisa demonstrou, de forma indireta, que há ganho de escolaridade comparando os cooperados e seus filhos maiores de 17 anos.----------------------------------------------The objective of this paper is to analyze the socio-economical development occurred in the action area of the C Vale Cooperativa Agroindustrial, after the poultry industrialization that occurred in 1997. The research was carried out with the members/associates of the cooperative society of the C. Vale, especially the ones developing the poultry activity. The questionnaire included questions that evaluated the reasons for association of its members, the generation of income, the socio-economic conditions, and their perception of the importance of C. Vale for the socio-economic development of the region. The cooperative contributes for the evolution of the associates in two big dimensions: economical and social. In the economical dimension contributes with the improvement of the income, through the best availability of the product or service of the associate to the consumer market. In the social dimension through the social inclusion, and through the availability, for the associate, of new knowledge, besides approaching him to a network of contact with other associates. The cooperative was appointed in the research as a promoter of the local education, through courses, lectures and seminaries that are administered to the associates and its co-workers. O sistema agroindustrial do biodiesel no Paraná: o potencial do mercado fornecedor de matérias-primas vegetais e a participação da agricultura familiar

This article aims to analyze the market potential supplier of raw materials plant to produce biodiesel between 2003 and 2010, and verify the inclusion of family farming in the agroindustrial system of biodiesel in Paraná. The institutional environment consists of the National Program of Biodiesel Production and Use (PNPB) can support family farmers in Parana and increase the biodiesel production in the state to promote regional development by generating income, taxes and setting the man on field. In contrast state and local public policies must do your part and encourage the most varied raw materials for biodiesel production due to climate and soil diversity existing in Parana. This situation can only be auspicious if successful stimulation and integration between the public (federal, state and municipal) and private.Resumo: Este artigo tem por objetivo analisar o potencial do mercado fornecedor de matérias-primas vegetais para a produção de biodiesel entre os anos 2003 e 2010, e verificar a inserção da agricultura familiar no sistema agroindustrial do biodiesel do Paraná. O ambiente institucional constituído pelo Programa Nacional de Produção e Uso do Biodiesel (PNPB) pode subsidiar os agricultores familiares paranaenses e gerar uma dinâmica de produção de biodiesel no estado com a promoção do desenvolvimento regional com a geração de renda, impostos, além de fixar o homem no campo. Em contrapartida, políticas públicas estaduais e municipais devem fazer a sua parte e estimular a produção das mais variadas matérias-primas para a geração de biodiesel, dada a diversidade edafoclimática existente no Paraná. O Potencial de Geração de Biogás Proveniente da Criação de Suínos no Oeste do Paraná: um estudo exploratório

Este trabalho teve o objetivo de verificar o potencial e a perspectiva da produção de biogás no Oeste do Paraná. Utilizou-se de uma metodologia exploratória com base na literatura. Para tanto, o referencial teórico foi centralizado na geração de biogás na atividade suína, sua produção, sua perspectiva e seu potencial de produção de biogás e as formas de utilização. Os dados utilizados e trabalhados foram obtidos junto ao IPEADATA, à EMBRAPA e à Abipecs. Os resultados apontaram que o Oeste do Paraná tem um grande potencial para geração de biogás, tendo, em 2012, uma população de suínos de 2.085.267 cabeças, com a capacidade de geração de dejetos de 12.094.548 kg. Com essa matéria-prima há condições de gerar 4.233.092 m3 de biogás. As perspectivas dos agentes da atividade suína estarem se envolvendo, cuidando do meio ambiente e, consequentemente, produzindo biogás, são grandes, pois os resultados se mostram favoráveis para que isso aconteça. Assim, o que é necessário para a expansão da produção do biogás são estímulos do governo no sentido de regulamentar a atividade e oferecer incentivos para a produção de energia renovável.Este trabalho teve o objetivo de verificar o potencial e a perspectiva da produção de biogás no Oeste do Paraná. As Percepções dos Atores Locais sobre o Biogás no Oeste do Paraná

This paper aims to analyze the perceptions of local actors about biogas in the West of Paraná region, Brazil. The analysis has been done through the Discourse of the Collective Subject (DCS) technique. The theoretical framework is based on the concepts of institutions and organizations. The main results of the research indicate that the agro-industrial system of biogas in the West of Paraná has good perspectives in the production, transformation and commercialization of biogas. It was pointed out that there are great challenges in biogas, such as: lack of public policies, the dispersion of unity among biogas producers, few investments in technology and low tax incentives. The Biogas SAG of Western Paraná is only in its early stages, but has great potential to operate in this area, due to the large pig breeding stock. It could be an important agent for the production of renewable energy. What is lacking are strong institutions, social and political articulation so that the economy of this sector can be thriving, taking advantage of waste that has a great potential for pollution to turn into renewable energy, contributing to the energy sustainability of our country

Avaliação de contratos: uma abordagem utilizando a Análise Fatorial de Correspondência

This study, in the light of transaction cost theory, has assessed the contractual relationships, eliciting the contracts in the Brazilian agribusiness. By using the transaction attributes in their main vectors of the features in which give the possibility to design the government structure of the lower cost. The contracts present a government structure, which when they are widely considered to represent a variety of agreement among the economic agents. On this system, the analysis to be developed is going to adopt a statistic multivariate method, which is going to assess nine contracts mostly consonant with the agribusiness (five contracts on sales, three on franchising and one on agriculture joint venture). These relationships facilitate to emphasize which are the main fears of the economic agents when they not only make contractual relationship among them but also what is/are the transaction attribute(s) implicit in the established contracts. As a result, it was also observed the purchase and sale contracts of sugar cane (two), franchising of beverages, concrete made products, language schools and agriculture joint venture which are more linked to the specific commodities. A CULTURA DA MANDIOCA NA REGIÃO OESTE DO PARANÃ: UM ESTUDO DA COORDENAÇÃO DA CADEIA SOB A ÓTICA DA TEORIA DOS CONTRATOS

The study presents an analysis of the coordination between the cassava's producers and the cassava's processors industry located in the west of State of Parana (Brazil). In a few years this chain became dynamics because of many factors, such as the institutional that is the most important one. In the last years it was verified a large volatility in cassava's production and price, that compromised the chain performance, mainly the cassava's starch modified production and price, which has high aggregate value. One of this oscillations cause, among other reasons was the lack of coordination between agents. To find evidences and solutions to the studies answers, the new institutional economy approach was studied. Three cassava's starch industries were analyzed in the west of the state of Parana. The reasons for that are low specifity of the assets and the lack of professionalism of the producers. Este artigo trata do papel da Câmara Setorial da Cadeia Produtiva do Açúcar e do Álcool do Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento. As principais ações da Câmara em estudo ocorreram no sentido de solicitar alterações nos ambientes tecnológico, institucional e organizacional buscando a diminuição dos custos de transação, principalmente em relação ao nível informacional dos membros.
