Analysis of the physical aspects of quality of life of kidney recipients
OBJECTIVE To identify the main factors of the physical domain modified after kidney transplantation and analyze the influence of those aspects in the perception of Overall quality of life (QOL). METHOD Longitudinal study, conducted with 63 chronic kidney patients, evaluated before and after kidney transplant, using the quality of life scale proposed by the World Health Organization. RESULTS We observed significant improvement in the physical aspects of QOL after kidney transplantation. Significant correlations were observed between physical aspects and the Overall QOL. CONCLUSION The kidney transplant generated improvement in all physical aspects of QOL. The factors that showed stronger correlation with the Overall QOL before the transplant were the capacity to work and pain. After the transplant, the perception of need for treatment was the factor that showed stronger correlation with the Overall QOL
SYNERGISTIC EFFECTS MANAGEMENT AS THE BASIC DRIVER OF ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT UNDER CURRENT CONDITIONS
Some ways to improve the efficiency of the enterprise management system are considered. The solution to this problem from the perspective of the synergistic approach, will allow increasing the utilization of the industrial enterprisesβ potential, accelerating their economic development rate, and ensuring their product competitiveness. The aim of the article is to study the synergistic effects of the enterprise. The causes of positive and negative synergistic effects are considered. A generalized model of various in-plant synergistic effects formation is presented. The significance of the external and internal environmental impact on the synergies formation is shown. Types of synergetic effects reliant on the sources and their areas of origin are described. Knowledge of the cause-and-effect relations forming one or another type of the synergistic effect allows elaborating an effective strategy for the enterprise development

The article focuses on the case of the Aeronautical Engineering Department of the Don State Technical University, whose purpose is to train engineering staff for the partner aerospace enterprise PAO Rostvertol.
The study draws from the empirical data collected through the sociological survey of the Departmentβs faculty and students as well as the partner enterpriseβs employees (graduates) and managers. Methodologically and conceptually, the study relies on the systemic approach, stakeholder theory, theory of competencies and the method of situation analysis. We sought to evaluate the sufficiency and relevance of the hard and soft skills that students developed during their studies at the Department. It is shown that the Department has managed to provide its students and graduates with a sufficient level of hard and soft skills to enhance their employability in aeronautical engineering. The Department uses a dual education system, which combines work-based learning with theoretical courses. In future, it is planned to expand this system and maximize student engagement by encouraging students to do their individual research projects at the partner enterprise.
The research findings may be used to develop strategies of university-enterprise cooperation and to assess the efficiency of the training process
