Objective: to analyze consumer behavior in the process of purchasing products that employ green marketing strategies, identifying the effectiveness of ecological actions according to their perception. Method: The methodology used was quantitative, descriptive research with a convenience sample. Main results: the distance between what young people think and their true actions in relation to environmental issues is identified. Relevance/originality: The originality of the research lies in the behavior of the consumer researched, because despite recognizing the importance of green marketing in companies, in some cases the consumer does not understand, in practice, the importance of their individual actions for preserving the environment , and how much their consumption habits can influence companies to adhere to sustainable development. Theoretical/methodological contributions: use of the ecologically conscious consumer behavior scale – Ecologically Conscious Consumer Behavior by Straughan and Roberts (1999). Social/management contributions: The managerial and social contributions of the research allow managers and related professionals to become aware of the importance of disseminating their actions for sustainable development to create value among the consumer public. Public authorities can employ actions to raise awareness among young people, who have the opportunity to positively impact their social life and their future professional environment, adopting conscious consumption habits.

The objective of this work is to analyze climatology data of the Metropolitan meso-region of Curitiba, Paraná State with objective of relate them with the demands bioclimáticas for the production of poultry, to verify the viability of the creation, as well as, to serve of orientation to poultry keepers and future poultry keepers in the implantation of systems of environmental control. The analysis was accomplished with the climatic data supplied by climatology normal IAPAR of the following micro-region: Antonina, Cerro Azul, Guaraqueçaba, Lapa, Morretes and Pinhais; the values of the Medium Temperature of the Compensated Air and Relative Humidity, they were used to compare with the conditions of thermal comfort for poultry, in function of the age of the same ones ABREU e ABREU (2001). The comparisons accomplished in each micro-region showed the need to correct the climate of the sheed to reach ideal conditions for production of poultry. The micro-region of Antonina, Lapa and Pinhais not present ideal conditions for development of the activity during whole you make them of life, therefore, for such it demands investments in environmental control, that is to say continuous heating of the creation sheed; The micro-regions of Cerro Azul and Guaraqueçaba demand systems of environmental control, heating and mainly cooling in the last week of life

The common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) is an important legume that is part of the daily food of the brazilians, being important for other countries. Because it is widely cultivated in almost all brasilian regions, is subject to environmental inclemencies, such as saline stress. Salicylic acid (S.A.) is an important plant hormone known to participate in pathways of systemic acquired resistance (SAR) against pathogens and also reported as a participant in the response to abiotic stresses. This study aimed to evaluate the action of salicylic acid prior to saline stress from three different concentrations of sodium chloride at the germination of a Brazilian common bean, cultivar Avaluna. The experiment was designed in randomized blocks, setting a 2x4 factorial scheme, with eight replicates of 25 seeds each. The following variables were evaluated: percentage of germination, root and shoot length, fresh root and shoot mass. The data were submitted to Tukey test with significance of 5%. The results indicated that there was statistically significant difference in the treatments in relation to the use of AS, that presented stable germination indexes for all evaluated treatments. This result was different from that observed in the treatments with water, where the increase of NaCl concentration resulted in a significant decrease in the percentage of germination. The results also indicated that, for the concentrations of NaCl and S.A. used in the cultivar Avaluna in this experiment, S.A. did not act as a protector against salt stress during the plant growth and development stage evaluated

AbstractObjectiveTo establish guidelines based on cientific evidences for the management of cryopyrin associated periodic syndromes.Description of the evidence collection methodThe Guideline was prepared from 4 clinical questions that were structured through PICO (Patient, Intervention or indicator, Comparison and Outcome), to search in key primary scientific information databases. After defining the potential studies to support the recommendations, these were graduated considering their strength of evidence and grade of recommendation.Results1215 articles were retrieved and evaluated by title and abstract; from these, 42 articles were selected to support the recommendations.Recommendations1. The diagnosis of CAPS is based on clinical history and clinical manifestations, and later confirmed by genetic study. CAPS may manifest itself in three phenotypes: FCAS (mild form), MWS (intermediate form) and CINCA (severe form). Neurological, ophthalmic, otorhinolaryngological and radiological assessments may be highly valuable in distinguishing between syndromes; 2. The genetic diagnosis with NLRP3 gene analysis must be conducted in suspected cases of CAPS, i.e., individuals presenting before 20 years of age, recurrent episodes of inflammation expressed by a mild fever and urticaria; 3. Laboratory abnormalities include leukocytosis and elevated serum levels of inflammatory proteins; and 4. Targeted therapies directed against interleukin-1 lead to rapid remission of symptoms in most patients. However, there are important limitations on the long-term safety. None of the three anti-IL-1β inhibitors prevents progression of bone lesions
