    Flexural and Shear Behavior of RC Concrete Beams Reinforced with Fiber Wire Mesh

     هذا البحثِ يهدف الى دراسة تأثير استخدام شبكة الاسلاك الليفية على خصائص الانحناء والقص للأعتاب الخرسانية المسلحة. ستة اعتاب خرسانية مسلحة (120*180*1220ملم) فحصتَ تحت عِدّة حالات تحميلِ. شبكة الاسلاك الليفية وضعت بطريقتين الاولى ثلاثة طبقات على شكل حرف Uحول مقطع العتبة , الثانية عبارة عن اربعة طبقات حول كل مقطع العتبة.نتائج  الفحص بينت ان ملائمة استخدام شبكة الاسلاك الليفية كتسليح اضافي للأعتاب الخرسانية المسلحة ويمكن ان تعطي زيادة بالحمل الاقصى(1.85-3.58%  في حالة الانحناء) و (17.7-23.7 % في حالة القص) بينما يمكن    ان تعطي زيادة بحمل  التشقق الاولي (7 %42.8 -85.في حالة الانحناء) و (41.2-76.5%   في حالة القص) . كذلك سلوك القص اصبح اكثر مطيليه عندما تم استخدام شبكة الاسلاك الليفية  في الاعتاب. تشققات الانكماش اختفت عندما تم استخدام شبكة الاسلاك الليفية حول كل مقطع العتبة.This work aims to study  the effect of using fiber wire mesh on the flexural and shear properties of RC concrete beams. Six reinforced concrete beams (120*180*1220mm) were tested under two load points. Fiber wire mesh was applied with two manners, first one is three layers as U shape around the section of the beam, the second one is four layers around overall section of beam. The test results indicated that using of fiber wire mesh as additional reinforcement can increase the ultimate load of about (1.85-3.58% in the case of flexural) and (17.7-23.7% in case of shear). Also,  results showed that an increasing in  first cracking  load is obtained from  (42.8-85.7% in case of flexural) and from (41.2-76.5% in case of shear). Also the shear behavior of beams becomes more ductile when the fiber wire mesh was used in beams. The cracks of shrinkage was disappeared when the fiber wire mesh surround the section of the beam.&nbsp

    Building information modelling framework in facilities management for building refrubishment

    Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a synergistic mechanism utilized for Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) sectors on the basis of several software solutions. Today, Malaysia construction industry is facing a serious issue from the society to improve efficiency, value, and quality. Loading of the cycle of construction project operation and maintenance seem to be around as most of costing to be during the phases. The aim (of this study is to propose to develop a Building Information Modelling framework in facilitating management for Building Refurbishment) By adopting BIM in facilities management (FM) will be able to overcome this issue. Hence, the objectives are (1) To study the challenges of factors affecting BIM adoption in ecosystem maintenance and refurbishment. (2) To identify the factors influencing BIM acceptance in facilities management (FM) for building refurbishment.(3) To determine the relationship of BIM for factors that influencing the faciliting management for building refurbishmen. Hence, (4) set of structured survey questionnaire from random construction sites managed by various contractors in Malaysia. The collected data was then analyzed using frequency distribution analysis and the Average Index also Smart PLS software to test the internal consistency method. The results are categorized according to the level of disagreeing or agree and presented in the tables and figures for easy interpretation. The findings showed that the factors reduce human resource during operation phase and improve Maintenance planning schedules were in the category of agreeing to important according to the analysis and ranking of the average index. Furthermore, the most important factors that were noticed from BIM can enhance operations & maintenance of facility management. Also, the results showed that management and maintenance were mostly classified as, which indicate that BIM can reduce in operation maintenance cost and data support in facilities management

    محدودية مساحة التخزين، وارتفاع حركة مرور نقل بيانات المتحسس وكفاءة نقل الطاقة هي عينات من المشاكل الصعبة في تطوير تطبيقات إنترنت كل شيء. وقد تم في هذا البحث معالجه هذه المشاكل من خلال اقتراح طريقة ضغط بدون فقدان للبيانات، والتي تقوم على عمليات خفيفة بالتعقيد. الطريقة المقترحة تعمل بكفاءة حتى مع الاجهزة ذات الأداء المنخفض. وعلاوة على ذلك، تحسن  أجهزة المتحسس بشكل فعال في إنترنت الكل شيء بواسطة التقليل من استهلاك الطاقة والموارد المستخدمة. وبالتالي، توفير الطاقة واطالة عمر أجهزة إنترنت الكل شيء. تم اختبار الطريقة المقترحة، على مجموعتين من البيانات كمعيار اساسي حسب نسبة الضغط المحسوبة على الرسائل بين نمط شخص الى شخص. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، نسبة ضغط على المتحسسات الطبية (دقات القلب ودرجة حرارة الجسم) بين نمط آلة والى شخص من إنترنت الكل شيء. في الاختبارين، الطريقة قد حصلت على مقياس ضغط كبير.Limit storage space, high traffic sensor data transfer and power efficient transmission are samples of the challenging issues in the development of Internet of Everything (IoE) apps. This paper tackles these issues by presenting a suggested lossless compression approach according to lightweight operations. The suggested approach is working efficiently even with a low-performance equipment. Furthermore, enhancing the sensor node effectively of IoE by minimizing energy exhaustion and resource utilizing. Hence, provision power and expanding the age of IoE devices. The suggested approach is evaluated by using two datasets as a benchmark by calculating compression ratio firstly, on messages between person to person and secondly, on healthcare sensors (HeartRate and Body Temperature) between machine to person pattern of IoE.  In two tests, the suggested approach may obtain a significant compression ratio

    Design Expert System to Simulate Control System of Gas Generating Stations

    The use of computer technology to support technical decisions and training is now widespread and pervasive across a broad range of technical areas. Accordingly, computer-aided diagnosis has become an increasingly important area for intelligent computational systems. The objective of project research is to design an expert system able to  provide the way to simulate the technical crew training , technical crew evaluating, testing of station parts, fault diagnosing of gas turbine power plant which uses natural gas to help the technical  maintenance crew and others trainees to reduce the error of the technical crew as minimum as possible and significantly reduce the cost of the training technical crew ,and  in same time can be applied this proposed system in all generating stations which work in ministry of electricity and private sector stations. The proposed system contains two main modules first one is the System Information and the second model is Expert system. Those two models creates our system simulators. The Information System of proposed system contains the static information about different malfunctions of the gas turbine power plant field which is used for training crews by showing pictures and videos about affected part of the station and giving the correct action,  and containing exam question for evaluating technical crew level to give the correct decision about them such as an increase training period of the crew,  and containing testing procedure steps of the station parts with given correct action to start  up  the station or wait according  to test result ,and containing fault diagnosing of the station with advice and required solution, and containing information related to monitoring and remote control the station with given correct action using visual Basic 6.0, and can make the prediction and warning  according to environment information and received parameters from station compared with the standard level which is stored in system and giving the required advice to protect the system from damage .The second model of proposed system is Expert system of which performs the program, so this system represents a computer program design to simulate human ability to solve the problem, and it consists of knowledge base which contain all knowledge and information which are collected from experts (engineers) about specific problems in specific domain and inference machine to search for knowledge base to find the solution of the problem in this restricted domain, this research clearly also  describes  how the  neural computing system designed to support the technical decision process to save the station from damage and continuously prepare good technical crew and develop their capability . The most prominent feature of our proposed system is simplicity, flexibility and friendly user interface with high speed of the execution.     Radiation Damage in the Structure of the CR-39 Nuclear Detector Material as A Result of the Alpha's Energy Loss

    In this work, the damage caused by the passage of alpha particles inside the CR-39 nuclear detector material on its chemical structure was studied. All samples at room temperature using a 241Am-Be neutron source with a flux of 5^10 neutrons.cm-2.s-1  were neutron-irradiated. In the CR-39 nuclear track detectors, chemical etching is a critical step in expanding latent tracks. At 70 °C, a NaOH in 6.25N etchant was found to be useful in expanding alpha traces in the CR-39 detector. The track depths of the Alpha particle as a function of etching time for the various energies were increased as etching time increases. The current study uses the nuclear track detector technique to estimate the range of alpha particles. Track etch rates are frequently determined using 2-dimensional photographs of track openings (diameter) or etching time data. The chemical structure along latent tracks and the track formation process were investigated in PADC(poly allyl diglycol carbonate). The findings showed that the measurement of bulk etch rate values by the weight method was 1.42 ± 0.02 μm/h. In addition, the results for the alpha particle range from 4.47 ± 0.05 and 5.8 ± 0.19 μm for alpha energy1.2 MeV and1.47MeV,respectivel

    Since lasso method launched, a lot of applications and extensions were run on it which made it to become deeply widely used in various discipline. In this paper, we proposed the Scale Mixture of Normals mixing with Rayleigh (SMNR) distribution on their variances to represent the double exponential distribution. Hierarchical model formula have derived with Gibbs sampler for SMNR. The proposed models; Bayesian Tobit Adaptive Lasso (BTAL) and Bayesian Tobit Lasso (BTL) models are illustrated using simulation example and a real data example through the prediction accuracy using the estimated relative efficiency with different sample. This is the first work that discussed regularization regression models under SMNR
