    Reliability Evaluation of Kumpai Feeder Distribution System at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Siantan

    The research on reliability index of a feeder aims to evaluate the reliability level of a feeder using the Reliability Index Assessment (RIA) method. This method evaluates the reliability of a 20 kV distribution network by calculating the reliability indexes of each load point. The evaluation results show the reliability index value per section of the Kumpai Feeder at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Siantan within one year. The SAIFI values are 0.0092; 0.0012; 12,477; 0.0596; 0.0204; 0.0470; 0.0155; 0.0728, the SAIDI values are 0.0277; 0.0042; 37,746; 0.1862; 0.0741; 0.1524; 0.0493; 0.2209, the CAIDI values are 3.0108; 3.5; 3,025; 3.1241; 3.6323; 3.2425; 3.1806; 3.0343, the MAIFI values are 0; 5,480; 0.2145; 0.0020; 0.0038; 0.0042; 0.0006; 0.0014. The calculation results show that the 20 kV distribution system at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Siantan at the Kumpai Feeder can be categorized as unreliable. Because the SAIFI value of this feeder exceeds the standard set by PT. PLN (Persero) which are 12.477 times/customer/year and 3.2 times/customer/year, respectively. The factors affecting the reliability index of the Kumpai feeder are the number and duration of blackouts, the number of customers, and the length of the distribution system channel

    PENGEMBANGAN ALAT PERAGA FISIKA BERBASIS HOME MATERIAL MATERI SUHU DAN KALOR

    ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan alat peraga pembelajaran berbasis home materials pada materi suhu dan kalor untuk meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa kelas VII. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode research and development  yang dikembangkan Sugiyono dengan langkah–langkah : (1) Potensi dan Masalah, (2) Pengumpulan Data, (3) Desain Produk, (4) Validasi Desain, (5) Uji Coba Pemakaian, (6) Revisi Produk, (7) Uji Coba Produk, (8) Revisi Desain, (9) Revisi Produk, (10) Produksi massal. Alat peraga yang dikembangkan akan melalui tahap validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, guru pengajar, dan siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, angket dan tes uraian. Untuk mengetahui alat peraga dapat meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa kelas VII diuji keefektifannya menggunakan uji Gain Skor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata siswa sebelum menggunakan alat peraga yaitu sebesar 46 dan setelah menggunakan alat peraga nilai rata-rata siswa menjadi 86 dan besar nilai n-gain diperoleh 0,74. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat peraga pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa kelas VII F SMPN 19 Mataram. Kata kunci : pengembangan alat peraga fisika; materi suhu dan kalor. ABSTRACTThis study aims to develop teaching aids based on home materials on temperature and heat to improve the learning creativity of grade VII students. The method used in this research is the research and development method developed by Sugiyono with the following steps: (1) Potential and Problems, (2) Data Collection, (3) Product Design, (4) Design Validation, (5) Usage Trial , (6) Product Revision, (7) Product Trial, (8) Design Revision, (9) Product Revision, (10) Mass production. The teaching aids developed will go through a validation stage carried out by material experts, media experts, teaching teachers, and students. The data were collected by means of observation, documentation, questionnaires and test descriptions. To find out that the props can improve the learning creativity of class VII students, their effectiveness is tested using the Gain Score test. The results showed that learning aids could increase students 'creativity. This was indicated by the mean score of students before using props which was 46 and after using props the students' average score was 86 and the n-gain value was 0.74. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the teaching aids can increase the learning creativity of class VII F students of SMPN 19 Mataram. Keywords : physics teaching aids development; temperature and heat material

    Headlines in the newspapers a magnet for readers. Every day people are alyaws served headlines containing about economics, finance, conflicts, politics, law, disaster, and social problems. The headlines should have more value, proximity, conflict and human interest are some of the news value. The themes and values in the headlines studied using this analysis with a quantitative approach and then know the most dominant themes and news values are most widely used in determining the headlines. The reaserach object is the local daily newspaper in Bogor, Jurnal Bogor and Radar Bogor as a sample. The results showed that most major news theme dominant newspaper in Bogor on Februari 15, 2012 to March 15, 2012 is the theme of news related to disaster and tragedy. Meanwhile, most of the major news theme using actual news the value as the determination of the appropriateness of the news headlines

    Honesty: A Multidimensional Study as Motivation for National Character Building

    Honesty has discussed in various disciplines. Honesty studies have carried out to examine the relationship of honesty with many factors that influence certain fields of science. This study aims to present a multidimensional study to convey the goodness of honesty as a tangible manifestation of the normative message that honesty guide to goodness and it will lead to happiness. This study uses a text analysis method in the form of a literature review through searching several resources. The sources that found is analysed by Wilson's procedure. The results of this study shows that honesty as a whole has a good impact on the physical health and mental health of individuals. Honesty related to many psychological attributes. Therefore, it recommended embedding motivations in educational honesty that concluded from various scientific disciplines

    PREVENTIVE COUNSELING: A RELIGIOUS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AT BOARDING SCHOOL IN YOGYAKARTA

    Purpose of the study: This study aims to explore religious development programs in boarding schools in Yogyakarta and to find out how the implementation of religious development programs, especially preventive counseling programs. Methodology: This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection used observation, interviews, and documentation. The subject were religion teachers, counseling teachers, the vice-principal of student affairs, homeroom teachers, students, and parents of the student. Main Findings: The results showed that there are two religious development programs at boarding schools in Yogyakarta. First, the development of faith and piety towards Allah by providing concepts in the form of a school lesson. Second, a program to teach religious morals values by internalizing religious values about morals. At the beginning of the study, these programs were designed by paying attention to many current teenage issues and anticipating their future. Applications of this study: This study can be useful in the field of educational psychology, especially in the personality section. The results of this study can be used by counselors at a school to overcome adolescent problems. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research showed that to make a student well behave in this digital age was not enough if only giving a theoretical study to them but also inviting them to do good things to their teacher. Furthermore, a stay program in the boarding school can be a consideration for parents to form a positive personality for their children

    Pendidikan merupakan upaya mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki manusia. Hamka berpendapat bahwa tujuan pendidikan adalah untuk mencapai kebahagiaan di dunia dan kebahagiaan di akhirat. Konsekuensi proses pendidikan anak bertujuan menjadikan anak sebagai hamba Allah yang taat menjalankan perintah dan menjauhi segala laranganNya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka (library research) yang mengkaji tafsir Al-Azhar sebagai data primer dengan menggunakan pendekatan maudhu’i atau tematik. Upaya analisis data, dilakukan dengan mengiventarisir ayat, mengkaji, dan mempertimbangkan aspek historis ayat terkait. Langkah selanjutnya ayat terkait secara objektif diinterpretasikan, secara deskriptif diungkap dan disimpulkan secara deduktif. Berdasar kajian tafsir Q.S. Luqman/31: 12-19, didapati: 1) urgensi pendidikan anak, yakni proses pendampingan dan bimbingan anak untuk mencapai kebahagiaan di dunia dan kebahagiaan di akhirat. Proses pendidikan anak mencakup pendidikan keimanan, berbakti kepada orangtua, pendidikan ibadah, pendidikan akhlak dan amar ma’ruf-nahi munkar; 2) aktualisasi pendidikan anak, difokuskan pada pembentukan karakter, yang diupayakan oleh keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat

    Evaluation of Madaris Curriculum Integration for Primary Muslim Education in Mindanao: An Assessment of The Influence of Psychology

    This study evaluated the Madaris curriculum integration for Muslim primary education in Mindanao. It assessed the psychological effects of such integration on teachers and students in Arabic writing and reading, religiosity, Islamic values, and teacher professional development. This qualitative and quantitative research used a descriptive-evaluative design. The purposive sampling method was used to collect data using a questionnaire which was analyzed statistically. This study showed that the psychological effects of integrating teachers and students to Arabic writing and reading, religiosity, Islamic values, and teacher professional development worked well. Both teachers and students demonstrated the ability to write and read Arabic, values about God, Islam, people, the nation, and the environment

    THE STUDY OF EDUCATIONAL HONESTY STAGES IMPLEMENTATION IN AN INDONESIAN SCHOOL

    Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop an honesty model of education in a school, especially to convey the stages, facilities, and infrastructure needed to carry out honesty education in a school. Methodology: This study used a qualitative method in a case study approach. Data collection was conducted in five ways, namely direct observation, observer as a participant, interviews, documentation, Soft and physical Devices The numbers of the participant were 29 teachers and 40 students. Activities in qualitative data analysis are carried out interactively and continuously and are holistic in nature. Therefore data analysis this study uses 3 steps to analyze research data. first, data reduction. Second, display data, the third is conclusion drawing or verification. Main Findings: The results of this research show that honesty culture can be implemented with a strong school system and with stages clearly. Applications of this study: This study can be useful in moral education or character building for students in a school Novelty/Originality of this study: The process of implementing honesty culture takes place through 4 stages. The first is protection, the second introduction, the third habituation inside and outside the classroom, and the fourth celebrations. The school compiles programs, policies and provides facilities and infrastructure that are oriented to the formation of an honesty culture for students and for all school members
