Experiencias en España sobre el comportamiento de sistemas de pisos prefabricados a lo largo de más de 40 años

No es fácil transmitir en unas pocas páginas la importancia que los prefabricados de hormigón han alcanzado en España. La presencia de estos elementos es constante en cualquier campo, desde la edificación, en la que nos centraremos en adelante, hasta la obra civil (puentes, muros de contención de tierras -fotografía n° 1-), las obras hidráulicas (tuberías, arquetas, ...), marítimas, etc. También abarca desde los sectores tradicionales, como los propios puentes o las naves industriales, a los más novedosos como los aerogeneradores que muestra la fotografía n° 2 y desde los elementos de mayor importancia estructura! a los puramente arquitectónicos, sin ninguna participación resistente (paneles de fachada, mobiliario urbano, etc.) Con todo, quizás el éxito más notable de los prefabricados no haya sido tanto la difusión alcanzada como la permanencia conseguida a lo largo de los años. El grano y la criba de los tratamientos psicológicos

Se presentan las conclusiones de revisar la eficacia (así como la efectividad) terapéutica para los catorce trastornos psicológicos siguientes: Esquizofrenia, Drogadicción, Anorexia y Bulimia, Trastornos de Personalidad, Hipocondría, Trastorno Obsesivo Compulsivo, Disfunciones Sexuales, Ansiedad Generalizada, Fobias Específicas, Agorafobia, Trastorno de Pánico, Trastorno por Estrés Post-traumático, Depresión unipolar y Depresión bipolar. De cada uno de ellos, se ha podido decir qué tratamientos están bien establecidos, cuáles son probablemente eficaces y los que están en fase experimental. Ello ha supuesto, por tanto, un proceso de separación y clasificación (criba). Es de notar que, en la mayor parte de los trastornos revisados, se cuenta con algún tratamiento psicológico bien establecido, aún cuando también puede haberlo de tipo farmacológico. Conviene resaltar igualmente que se echan en falta numerosos tratamientos psicológicos ampliamente difundidos pero que no se han sometido a estudios de este tipo. Aun cuando el panorama reflejado invita al optimismo, los autores se muestran críticos, cuestionando tanto la concepción psicopatológica de los trastornos como la sobresimplificación y limitación del carácter de los tratamientos que se deriva de establecer correspondencias específicas entre un cuadro clínico pre-establecido y un procedimiento terapéutico específico

Agronomic, economic and ecological aspects of the papaya (Carica papaya) production in Tabasco, Mexico

The cultivation of papaya is important in the tropic because it provides source of income to the farmer within a short time. Statistical data were obtained from farmers located in the Chontalpa, Rios and Centro-Sierra regions; the size of the survey was 67 farmers. The study shows the results of the farmers’ problem in a drastic reduction of their productivity because of the virosis and low prices in commercialization. The farmers were classified into three levels of technology, “low”, “middle” and “high”. The first one covers 88% of the farmers in seasonal conditions in contrast with the high technology that concentrates 4.5% in irrigation conditions. According to the technology used, the fertilizer shows more yields. Economically, the high technology had an internal tax return of 0.43 in comparison with the low technology of 0.25, which means that the investment is recovered with different yields. However, the use of high technology makes the system more competitive. Key words

Cloudy bag model: convergent perturbation expansion for the nucleon

A previously published bound on the probability of finding n pions in the dressed nucleon in Chew-Low theory is improved. The proof is then extended to the recently derived cloudy-bag-model Hamiltonian. Together with a bound on the average number of pions (0.9±1.0), our result strongly suggests a rapid convergence of the perturbation expansion in the cloudy bag model

Residents’ attitudes towards different tourist offers: Maldonado-Punta del Este conurbation (Uruguay)

The study of residents' attitudes is fundamental for tourist destinations managers. Residents form their attitude towards tourism through a cost-benefit analysis based on their perception of tourism impacts. The objective of this paper is to analyse the relationship between the perception of the different types of impacts, the general attitude toward tourism and various types of tourism offer: sport tourism, maritime tourism, nature tourism and sun and beach tourism. The analysis of the data was performed using Partial Least Squares on a sample of 420 residents of the Maldonado-Punta del Este conurbation, interviewed in 2016. The strongest causal relationship is between general attitude and acceptance of sun and beach tourism, the traditional offer in the region. The main conclusion is that a more favourable attitude to tourism does not imply greater support for any type of tourism. It is not possible to generalize the support to tourism to any tourism project, and tourist destinations managers must take it into account

Management of Tourist Destinations: the Expectations of Guests on eWOM Generation in Maldonado (Uruguay)

[Abstract] The purpose of this paper is to examine the importance of exceeding the expectations of guests to generate greater satisfaction, in order to offer an unforgettable experience and generate more comments on the Web 2.0 in the context of tourism. Structural equation models were used. The data for the analysis were obtained from a sample of residents of the Maldonado-Punta del Este conurbation (Uruguay), who were asked about their last overnight stay. The proposed structural equation model was tested using the partial least square (PLS) technique. The results show that exceeding the expectations of guests is essential for the clients’ experience and very important for the satisfaction with the stay at the hotel. The generation of online comments (electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM)) is also strongly influenced by emotional experiences. Exceeding the expectations of trained clients and surprising them with new services and experiences is the essence of luxury offers. The main practical implication is that exceeding expectations is the key to eWOM, and this means that managers must be involved in a perpetual process of service innovation
