Pemodelan Sistem Fisis Dan Simulasinya Dengan Menggunakan Bondgraph Dan Software 20-Sim 3.2

To model a physical system needs many various aspect of system behaviour. Usually, the result is in the differential equation. There are many methods in finding this model, one of them is Bondgraph. This paper will discuss how to use this method to model simple physical system and simulate it using 20-Sim software from University of Twente, The Netherlands. The experimental result shows that we can build a model using Bondgraph easily. In 20-Sim, there are several facilities that will enable user to simulate both in graphics or 3D model

Enhanced Neuro-Fuzzy Architecture for Electrical Load Forecasting

    Get PDF
Previous researches about electrical load time series data forecasting showed that the result was not satisfying. This paper elaborates the enhanced neuro-fuzzy architecture for the same application. The system uses Gaussian membership function (GMF) for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy logic system. The training algorithm is Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm to adjust the parameters in order to get better forecasting system than the previous researches. The electrical load was taken from East Java-Bali from September 2005 to August 2007. The architecture uses 4 inputs, 3 outputs with 5 GMFs. The system uses the following parameters: momentum=0.005, gamma=0.0005 and wildness factor=1.001. The MSE for short term forecasting for January to March 2007 is 0.0010, but the long term forecasting for June to August 2007 has MSE 0.0011. Keywords: forecasting, LMA, neuro-fuzz

Performance Evaluation of MMA7260QT and ADXL345 on Self Balancing Robot

A self balancing robot (SBR) controller needs to detect platform inclination. For this purpose, an accelerometer is used. From various types of accelerometer, we can divide into digital and analog ones. The problem is how to select the right type for the SBR. This paper evaluates the performance of the ADXL345, 3-axis digital output accelerometer and the MMA7260QT, 3-axis analog output accelerometer. The Arduino is used to read data from the sensor and send it to PC for plotting. Both sensors use the lowest sensitivity. The sensors are evaluated with three criteria, i.e. stationary, dynamical response and collaborating with ITG3200 3-axis gyroscope for Kalman filter fusion. For stationary criterion, the ADXL345 is better than the other sensor for all stationary position. For dynamical response, both sensors suffer from the noise due to acceleration of the platform. The sensors do not only sense the gravity but also the acceleration of the platform when it is moved. But the noise level for the ADXL345 is lower than the other. Using Kalman filter makes both sensors show good performance for a SBR application. If three criteria are combined with hardware aspect, then the authors recommend using the ADXL345. Besides, it has several useful features to handle abrupt acceleration

Modul Bi-lingual Untuk Televisi Dengan Menggunakan SAA7283ZP Yang Diatur Lewat I2C Dari 80C31

At the moment, in Indonesia has been able to enjoy NICAM (Near Instantaneous Companded Audio Multiplex ) technology within the television world. Television without NICAM facility, however, can receive the broadcast of the transmitter with NICAM technology, although it emits mono audio signal only. To receive broadcast with NICAM audio quality, TV audience, therefore has to buy a new set of television equipped with NICAM facility. Dealing with the problem, a module that can externally added to the television was made so that the audience of television with non-NICAM technology can enjoy the system itself. The module used the single chip NICAM decoder SAA7283ZP of Phillips semiconductor that can be adjusted using microcontroller software. The module receives IF signal taken from TV tuner and separates the audio and video signal present. SAA7283ZP controlled by 8031via I2C that is stimulated by 2 pin port 1, then takes and processes the audio 'data' . The output of the process is entered in a separated audio system, the testing result conceals that the occuring error is mostly influenced by the quality of RF signal received by the television set. This result is obviously seen as the testing system employs indoor and outdoor antennas. Besides that, improper grounding the system also affects the module in processing the NICAM signal

Aplikasi Scada System Pada Miniatur Water Level Control

The paper discuss the implementation of Miniature Water Level Control which is made as a simulation from the industrial process. These project is equipped with SCADA to give a real visualisation of industrial process. To make the controlling and monitoring process easier, the project is made in small size (miniature model) which is easy to be brought (portable). .Miniature water level control was made as a plant which is controlled by PLC. There are two PLCs which is used, i.e. OMRON CPM1 and MODICON TSX Micro 3721. The computer, in this case the SCADA software, will visualize the process which is happened on the plant. From the experiment which is done, the plant can give the good response and keep the water level on the desired height. The system is stable when the height of water is the same as the set point. PID Control bias method (pump_voltage = bias + error) is used to run these system

Communication Between TSX Micro 37-21 PLCs on Beverage Production Plant

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is the most famous controller in industry. Because the process in industry is getting more and more complex than before, the USAge of more than one PLC is needed and the communication between them have to be existed. This paper describes about the study of communicating two Schneider TSX Micro 37-21 PLCs in order to control the miniature of beverage production. The usual (and expensive) way to communicate them is using converter module TSX P ACC 01. Less expensive way uses original converter cable TSX PCX 1031 that connect to the ports of PLCs (TER and AUX port) which will be explained here. PL7 Pro V 4.0 software is used to program the PLCs. The communication cannot be established due to some improper addressing. The exploration is continued to the serial communication. It is found that the system uses RS 485
