    STUDY AND COMPARISON OF FENG SHUI AND WESTERN INTERIOR DESIGN TECHNIQUE

    poster abstractThe purpose of this project is to research how Feng Shui is suggested to apply to hospitality design, and compare the “science and art” of Feng Shui with the design strategies I learned throughout my study of interior design technology. Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese study of interior design that suggests bringing good fortune to the user of an environment. The balance of the five elements (metal, water, wood, fire, and earth), the use of space planning technique related to the directions, and the use of colors in the space are all examples of factors that affects Feng Shui design. It is said that a certain way of applying Feng Shui to a design can bring the users good health, wealth, or other fortune they desire. Yet, this saying is hard to be verified. Therefore, I decided to base my research on how Feng Shui can be used as an idea to inspire the designer. I am going to study how Feng Shui can guide a designer when planning a space or deciding design elements. I will provide a research that even people who do not believe in Feng Shui can benefit from the study of the relationship between the use of Feng Shui and the logical application technique that are taught in school. At the final stage of my research project, I will design an environment using the information I discover from doing this research. I will design a hospitality space that incorporates both eastern and western understanding of successful design technique

    We briefly introduce the conception on Euler-Lagrange cohomology groups on a symplectic manifold (M2n,ω)(\mathcal{M}^{2n}, \omega) and systematically present the general form of volume-preserving equations on the manifold from the cohomological point of view. It is shown that for every volume-preserving flow generated by these equations there is an important 2-form that plays the analog role with the Hamiltonian in the Hamilton mechanics. In addition, the ordinary canonical equations with Hamiltonian HH are included as a special case with the 2-form 1n1Hω\frac{1}{n-1} H \omega. It is studied the other volume preserving systems on (M2n,ω)({\cal M}^{2n}, \omega).     Feng shui jewelry is not only a fashion product, but also a part of lifestyle, bringing Gen Z youth in Hanoi cultural, spiritual values and profound meanings.In order to examine the feng shui jewelry consumption trends of young generation Z people in Hanoi city, the research team conducted this study. Through the results of the study, it can be seen that among those who know about feng shui jewelry, the number of people who have ever bought/used feng shui jewelry is only 46.8%. People who do not buy/use for documented reasons such as simply not liking to use it, feng shui jewelry needs to be preserved carefully and thoroughly, many people around have not used it, or using it requires sophistication, complexity...The number of people who have not yet used it and will buy and use it in the near future is still small. The frequency of using feng shui jewelry among young people is only at a normal level. Meanwhile, the favorite feng shui jewelry product is feng shui stone bracelets, followed by stone pendants. With the trend of simple, compact designs and reasonable prices being the top priorities when choosing products for young people. The main reason for young people to use feng shui jewelry is to attract fortune, luck, ward off bad luck, and be chosen as a gift. Many young people also agree that feng shui jewelry will bring fortune, luck and have a positive impact on health... so most of those who have bought/used it will intend to continue buying and using it

In this paper we study this growth rate further. We also consider the set of β\beta-expansions from a dimension theory perspective

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana diterapkannya unsur fēng shuǐ pada pemakaman Puncak Nirwana serta pandangan anak yang memakamkan orang tuanya di pemakaman tersebut mengenai fēng shuǐ. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 11 informan. Teori yang digunakan yaitu aliran fēng shuǐ, simbol – simbol fēng shuǐ (pí xiū dan shi zi), simbol makna baik dalam kehidupan orang Tionghoa dan teori ajaran xiào Kǒng zi dalam upacara kematian. Hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa pemakaman Puncak Nirwana memiliki unsur fēng shuǐ yang bagus karena dilengkapi dengan seorang suhu yang merangkap sebagai arsitek yang membantu pelanggan mengatasi keadaan fēng shuǐ yang kurang bagus. Pandangan anak yang memakamkan orang tuanya merasa unsur fēng shuǐ disana sangat bagus
