    Dugong merupakan satu dari 35 jenis mamalia laut yang dijumpai tersebar di perairan Indonesia khususnya di habitat padang lamun. Dugong merupakan biota yang dilindungi secara nasional berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah No.7 tahun 1999 tentang Pengawetan Jenis Tumbuhan dan Hewan yang telah diperbaharui oleh Permen LHK No.P 20 Tahun 2018 tentang Tumbuhan dan Satwa Liar. Dugong di Pulau Bangka sangat erat kaitannya dengan keberadaan nelayan yang juga memanfaatkan laut untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Penelitian Distribusi dugong dengan pendekatan survei untuk mengidentifikasi sebaran dan lokasi kemunculan Dugong sebagai dasar untuk penyusunan rencana konservasi belum pernah dilakukan. Sebaran kemunculan dugong di Pulau Bangka secara spasial yang terekam adalah di sekitar pulau pulau kecil di Selatan Bangka Hingga ke Pulau Maspari yang terletak berbatasan dengan Provinsi Sumsel, dan bagian tengah bangka terdapat di sekitar Pulau Panjang dan Pulau Ketawai, dengan ciri khas biasanya terdapat padang lamun sebagai ciri lokasi kemunculan dugong. Mayoritas lokasi kemunculan dugong bersinggungan dengan lokasi penangkapan ikan yang dilakukan oleh nelayan di Pulau bangka, sehingga diperlukan pengaturan lebh lanjut mengenai wilayah pengelolaan dan wilayah penangkapan ikan. Rendahnya persepsi kesadaran masyarakat terhadap keberadaan dugong dan termasuk untuk menjual serta mengkonsumsi dugong masih menjadi kendala atau halangan secara social di masyarakat maka perlu ada edukasi lebih lanjut dari segenap pemangku kepentingan untuk membangkitkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk menjaga keberadaan dugong

    Keterlibatan masyarakat berperan penting dalam pengelolaan hutan rakyat (HKm), karena masyarakat adalah garda terdepan dalam menjaga kelestarian hutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan bentuk perlindungan hukum terhadap rakyat dalam pengelolaan Hutan Kemasyarakatan; lalu bagaimana pola partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan hutan rakyat di Bangka Belitung. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian normatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan hukum bagi pengelolaan HKm berdasarkan pada perlindungan hukum preventif dan perlindungan hukum represif. Keterlibatan masyarakat dibagi menjadi empat tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap pemanfaatan, tahap pemantauan/penilaian. Simpulan yang didapatkan ialah pengelolaan dan perlindungan terhadap kawasan Hutan Kemasyarakatan secara sistematis dan berbasis hukum harus dipergunakan sebaik-baiknya agar peningkatan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat terpampang nyata. Terdapat empat indikator tahapan partisipasi masyarakat tersebut harus berjalan secara komprehensif dan utuh agar tujuan negara kesejahteraan bisa tercapai dengan baik

    Kabupaten Pemalang merupakan salah satu penghasil kepiting bakau di Jawa Tengah. Kepiting bakau merupakan salah satu komoditas perikanan andalan Kabupaten Pemalang yang mempunyai nilai ekonomi tinggi dan dapat dikembangkan secara komersial. Namun demikian, pengelolaan potensi kepiting bakau di Kabupaten Pemalang belum optimal. Dikarenakan belum adanya data yang menunjukkan bagaimana pola pertumbuhan dan persebaran kepiting bakau di kawasan pesisir Desa Mojo. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Mojo,Kecamatan Ulujami, Kabupaten Pemalang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pertumbuhan kepiting bakau di kawasan Desa Mojo Kecamatan Ulujami, Kab Pemalang. Data yang didapat kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode regresi untuk mengkaji hubungan antara lebar karapas kepiting bakau dengan berat/bobot tubuhnya. Distribusi frekuensi lebar karapas dan berat kepiting dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui modus dari ukuran lebar karapas dan berat kepiting tertinggi dan terendah pada masing-masing lokasi penelitian yaitu kawasan Muara, Tambak, serta Laguna. Kepiting bakau yang tertangkap pada kawasan Muara,Tambak, serta Laguna juga memiliki interval lebar karapas maksimum dan minimum,serta berat maksimum dan minimum yang sama. Sebagian besar individu yang tertangkap pada kawasan Muara dan Tambak memiliki interval ukuran lebar karapas dan berat yang sama yaitu antara 87 – 98 mm untuk interval lebar karapas dengan interval berat antara 106 – 117 gram. Pola pertumbuhan kepiting bakau di ketiga lokasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola pertumbuhan alometrik negatif yaitu pertambahan lebar karapas lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan pertambahan bobot atau berat tubuh.     Celagen Island is one of the small islands in Pongok District, South Bangka Regency.In 2017, Celagen Island has a population of 1,234 people, most of whom work as fishermen.The fishing units used by fishermen on Celagen Island are divided into 2 types, namely kapal bagan and Fishing Rods. Kapal Bagan is a fishing gear that produces economically valuable catches of pelagic fish. The economic aspect is one of the factors considered in the development of a business, including the advantages and the payback period.The results of the study showed that the Kapal Bagan fishing unit had a profit of Rp. 1571929167 after tabulating infrastructure costs, fixed costs, variable costs, and total acceptance..Based on the calculation of the analysis, the balance of revenue from the Kapal Bagan fishing unit is Rp. 6,187. This means that the business of Bagan Ships which are run in one season will benefit because of the R / C> 1.     Mangrove forests have many ecological functions such as retaining and trapping sediments, dampening waves, providing protection for fish and other biota, and assimilating nutrients. Most of the nutrients returned to the forest floor are in the form of litter. Litter has an important role for the soil and the microorganisms in it. This study aims to measure the productivity of mangrove litter in the mangrove forest of Kurau Timur Village, Central Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung. The method used to measure litter production is litter storage using a 1m x 1m litter trap with litter collection every 7 days for 3 months. Environmental parameter data analysis was performed by PCA (Principal Component Analysis). The rate of litter production in the mangrove forest of East Kurau Village is with a dry weight of 2.72 gr/m2/day. The components that make up litter are grouped into 3 components, namely leaves (66%), stems (18%), and flowers/fruits (16%). The litter layer on the mangrove forest floor of Kurau Timur Village is with an average dry weight of 69.02 grams, a water content of 40.73%, and an estimated average biomass of 3.08 tons/ha

    The cultivation of mud crabs is growing to get crabs in the soft shell condition. But most of the soft shell crab's farmers do not experience sustainable business. The main obstacle is the length of the maintenance period and moulting time does not unison thereby causing the feed and operating costs to be high. The research aimed to examine the effect of injection with forest fern leaf extract on growth rate and moulting speed of mangrove crabs (Scylla serrata) and determine the best dose in the process of injecting forest Fern Leaf extract for mangrove crab (Scylla serrata). Treatment of mangrove crab (Scylla serrata) weight ± 100 g with dose: P1 (NaCL 0.9%) P2 (50 mg.L-1) P3 (75 mg.L-1) P4 (100 mg.L-1) P5 (125 mg.L-1) 5 crabs each are cared for 30 days, The research was conducted using a single complete random draft (RAL), the results of various analyses showed the significant forest fern leaf extract against the growth of absolute weights, the rate of Specific growth, and relative growth, but no noticeable effect for molting speed and absolute length growth. The results of this research showed that a dose of 125 mg.L-1produces the highest value with result for moulting speed of 0.50 ± 0.57, length absolute growth of 0.37 ± 0.1 weighted absolute growth of 20 ± 5,74, specific growth rate of 0.54 ± 0.13, and relative growth of 0.64 ± 0.18.The cultivation of mud crabs is growing to get crabs in the soft shell condition.     Tanjung Tedung hamlet has a mangrove ecosystem that is still very natural and has not been managed properly by the community. Based on this, it is necessary to conduct research on mangrove studies in Tanjung Tedung Hamlet so that in terms of management it is more appropriate and sustainable for the future. This research was conducted in October 2018 in the coastal area of Tanjung Tedung Hamlet, Tanjung Pura Village, Sungaiselan District, Central Bangka Regency and sample identification was carried out at the Fisheries Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Fisheries and Biology, Bangka Belitung University. The area of mangrove vegetation obtained from the Mangrove Distribution Map in Tanjung Tedung Hamlet is 1.770 Hectares. Areas that have a rare density have a value of 0,098 – 0,277 with an area of 238,58 hectares. The medium density class has a value of 0,277 – 0,386 with an area of 414,13 hectares and the high density class has a value of 0,277 – 0,508 with a total mangrove area of 117,3 hectares.The composition of mangrove species found at the research stations consisted of 5families of mangroves, namely Acanthceae, Avicenniaceae, Combretaceae, Rhizophoraceae, and Sonneratiaceae.     The mangrove forest ecosystem in East Kurau Village is a 148-hectare area that has the potential to reserve carbon. This research aims to identify the composition of mangrove vegetation types and analyze the potential for carbon stocks reserved in tree stands and sediments in the mangrove forest area in East Kurau Village. The method used to identify the composition of the mangrove vegetation types is a 10m x 10m plot. The tree biomass measurements were implemented using the no-logging method using allometric equations. The measurement of the sediment analysis was using Walkley & Black method. The result of the mangrove types composition in the East Kurau Village mangrove forest ecosystem consisted of 6 genuine/true species: Sonneratia alba, Rhizophora apiculata, Xylocarpus granatum, Acrostichum aureum, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, and Bruguiera hainesii. The estimated carbon reserves in East Kurau Village's mangroves are 3.207, 29 tons/ha.     Bangka Regency is one of the regencies that has started to develop the tourism sector. One of them is the beach located in Air Anyir Village which is one of the villages included in the KSPP village (Strategic Area for Tourism Development). This research is to analyze the study of the suitability of tourism land in the recreational category. Data collection was carried out in November 2021 at the beaches in Air Anyir Village, namely Air Anyir Beach, Pukan Beach and Koala Beach. Data analysis is based on the Tourism Suitability Index (IKW) matrix. The results of the study the value of IKW (Tourism Suitability Index) for land on Air Anyir Beach is 90.1% and the value of IKW (Tourism Suitability Index) for waters is 98.0%, Pukan Beach value IKW (Tourism Suitability Index) for land is 100% and the value of IKW (Tourism Suitability Index) for waters is 98.0% and at Koala Beach it has an IKW (Tourism Suitability Index) value for land which is 90.1% while the IKW (Tourism Suitability Index) value for waters is 92.1%. A study conducted at the Coast of Air Anyir Village, Bangka Regency, showed that the coastal area in Air Anyir Village, Bangka Regency, found that the results for all stations were very suitable (S1).     Mangrove sebagai salah satu unsur ekosistem yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat khususnya di wilayah pesisir Bangka Belitung. Namun lambat laun terjadi degradasi wilayah mangrove yang berubah menjadi kegiatan ekonomi masyarakat yang secara tidak langsung menggerus kemanfaatan mangrove. Pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan lahan dalam wilayah hutan mangrove di provinsi Bangka Belitung seakan tidak maksimal dalam mengatur tata ruang sehingga vegetasi mangrove terancam rusak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan analisis terkait pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan lahan hutan mangrove dalam perspektif hukum. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah yuridis normatif dengan metode penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa perlu adanya kebijakan kemitraan antara pemerintah, masyarakat dan stakeholder dan adanya kebijakan terkait penegakan hukum yang tegas terkati pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan lahan hutan mangrove di Bangka Belitung.
