    Get PDF
The amount of runoff water flow needs to be calculated based on rainfall data in the region. This research aims to analyze rainfall data to obtain the amount of runoff discharge in the Gegesik irrigation area. In this study using a quantitative approach. The research begins with conducting field surveys and collecting data from related agencies. The method used in analyzing rainfall data uses the Thiessen polygon method to obtain regional rainfall and the NFR method to obtain irrigation water requirements. Based on the analysis of rainfall data using the Thiessen polygon method, it can be seen that the average value of rainfall area in 10 years is 42.32 mm. So it can be known that the need for irrigation water with the NFR method occurs in November, which is 12.67 mm/day. After analyzing these results, it can be seen that the existing discharge is 0.77 m3 / s, the flood discharge that occurs is 1.24 m3 / s and the runoff discharge is 0.47 m3 / s. After the embankment elevation of 1 m, it can be seen that the discharge is 0.999 m3 / s, it can be concluded that the discharge capacity after making the embankment can accommodate the runoff discharge. So to reduce water runoff into rice fields from the research that has been done, it can be suggested to change the dimensions of irrigation with the initial height of the embankment of 0.84 m to 1 m and the need for dredging because of the large amount of sediment that settles in irrigation channels that can cause water to run over into the fields

    Get PDF
The global demand for organic food has steadily increased over the past two decades, driven by growing awareness of health, environmental sustainability, and ethical production. This research examines the integration of bibliometric methodologies with the PRISMA model to identify key research trends in the field of organic food studies. The PRISMA model ensures methodological rigor by systematically mapping relevant search strings and keywords, which narrows down the vast number of articles to those directly addressing organic food and its associated dimensions. A bibliometric approach is then employed to analyze journal performance, co-authorship patterns, co-citation networks, and thematic clusters in organic food research. Results reveal a growing interest in organic food studies, with sustainability, health benefits, certification processes, and global market trends emerging as dominant themes. Notably, key clusters include discussions on alternative agriculture, the implications of climate change, and consumer behavior related to health and environmental consciousness. Thematic mapping highlights "sustainable development" and "certification standards" as key themes driving the field forward. In contrast, niche themes such as "non-timber forest products" indicate potential for future exploration and development. This research underscores the significance of bibliometric methodologies in ensuring objectivity and reliability in evaluating academic contributions. By identifying research gaps and dominant trends, the study provides a roadmap for future investigations in organic food research, highlighting the value of integrating bibliometric analyses with systematic review frameworks, such as PRISMA. This approach enhances the precision and depth of research in this rapidly evolving domain

The provision of clean water in Karubaga City has been hampered by inadequate piping distribution networks, forcing reliance on drilled wells in villages. This study aims to address the problem of inadequate clean water facilities by planning an effective water intake system for the Loma River in Tolikara Regency. Using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, the research analyzed hydrological data, intake hydraulics, and the structural stability of intake buildings. Results indicate that the Loma Intake requires significant rehabilitation due to sediment deposition, while the Palagi Intake needs an evaluation of the pipeline network to improve flow pressure and distribution. The study concludes that redesigning and constructing efficient water intake systems is crucial to meeting the community's clean water needs while mitigating health risks from water pollution

The Effect of on-Street Parking on Traffic Performance in Commercial Areas of Small Cities in Indonesia (Case Study: St. Merdeka Utara Cirebon)

    Get PDF
Street Parking is one of the factors that causes a decrease in traffic performance, especially in commercial areas of small cities, so it is necessary to organize it so traffic performance can remain by the planning. The purpose of this study was to find out what the impact of on-street parking traffic is on-road performance and to provide recommendations in the form of parking location arrangements. The calculation method used to analyze road performance is the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2023) while parking utilizing the technique of the Director General of Land Transportation (1996). The results of the study showed that the presence of on-street parking at the study location resulted in road performance becoming Level Of Service (LOS) D and off-street parking resulted in road performance becoming Level Of Service (LOS) C. If on-street parking and off-street parking are not moved, the Level Of Service (LOS) value will be E and F. And this study is to provide recommendations for moving parking locations around traditional markets. In conclusion, parking rearrangements and relocation of parking locations can improve road performance and reduce congestion, with implications for more efficient transportation planning in small towns, especially around commercial areas and traditional markets

The availability of clean water in Wamena City is a target for fulfilling local government development. In the suburbs, a Public Hydrant (HU) in the Sinakma area has been constructed to meet the community's clean water needs. The fulfillment of clean water needs for network distribution has also existed in Wamena City which was built in 2016 sourced from the Walesi River with the construction of a reservoir in the Napua area, but the distribution was disrupted because the Napua Intake was damaged by landslides. However, due to the condition of landslides and logging that are quite a lot in the upstream area, currently the intake does not function and affects the distribution of water in Wamena City. In 2023, an Intake and several reservoirs with the Wasi River water source in Walesi District have also been built, which are expected to meet the city's water needs. But in reality, the building has not been able to meet the needs of clean water because it cannot capture the flow of water properly

Organizational Culture in Waste Collection Fleet Management: Implications for Operational Efficiency and Urban Environmental Impact

    Get PDF
Waste collection fleets play a vital role in municipal solid waste management and urban environmental quality. Nevertheless, operational inefficiencies, such as vehicle overloading, suboptimal route planning, and inadequate maintenance, have contributed to significant environmental and infrastructural impacts, including road degradation and diminished urban hygiene. This research adopts a qualitative approach grounded in a comprehensive review of relevant literature to examine how organizational culture affects the performance of waste collection fleets and their broader urban impact. The findings suggest that weak institutional culture, fragmented coordination among agencies, and inconsistent adherence to operational standards are critical drivers of inefficiency. Moreover, limited inter-agency integration, the absence of effective oversight mechanisms, as well as limited technological innovation further compound these challenges. Addressing these systemic issues requires targeted cultural and governance reforms. Key recommendations include strengthening human resource capacity, integrating environmentally sound technologies, and fostering institutional accountability and environmental responsibility. These interventions are essential to enhance operational efficiency. They also play a key role in reducing the ecological footprint of urban waste transportation systems

The Urgency of Restorative Justice Implementation in Addressing Domestic Violence Cases to Realize Justice Oriented towards Victim Recovery

    Get PDF
The study is to examine, from the standpoint of legal advantages, the regulation and application of restorative justice in addressing domestic violence (DV) cases. In order to achieve a fair and beneficial conclusion, restorative justice places a strong emphasis on victim recovery, offender accountability, and community involvement. This study examines laws that support the implementation of restorative justice, such as Police Regulation Number 8 of 2021 and Prosecutor's Regulation Number 15 of 2020, and their applicability to the protection of domestic violence victims using a normative legal method that combines a statute approach and a conceptual approach. The study's findings suggest that a different approach to DV case resolution may be restorative justice, especially in ongoing social relationships, such as husband-wife or parent-child, so that it can reduce the negative impact of conventional criminalization on families, including social and economic aspects. However, its application must be carried out selectively, considering the risk of pressure on victims to reconcile and the potential for the recurrence of violence. From the perspective of legal benefits, restorative justice implementation can provide broader benefits compared to the retributive punishment system, provided that there is strict supervision and a mechanism that ensures that justice for victims remains a top priority. Therefore, evaluation and strengthening of regulations are needed to ensure that the implementation of restorative justice in domestic violence cases truly provides legal protection and benefits for all parties involved
