LAPORAN PRAKTIK PENGALAMAN LAPANGAN (PPL) UPTD SANGGAR KEGIATAN BELAJAR (SKB) KULON PROGO

Penyelengaraan PPL dilaksanakan untuk pengembangan kompetensi mahasiswa sebagi calon pendidik atau tenaga kependidikan . Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) ini merupakan matakuliah yang dapat diharapkan memebrikan pengalaman belajar bagi mahasiswa,terutama dalam pengalaman mengajar, memperluas wawasan, pelatihan dan pengembangan kompetensi yang di perlukan dalam bidangnya, peningkatan ketrampilan ,kemandirian,tanggung jawab, dan kemampuan dalam memecahkan masalah. Penyusunan program rencana kerja di mulai dari tahapan penilaian kebutuhan, analisis, dan diskusi dengan pamomg belajar SKB Kulon Progo. program yang disusun adalah program yang dibutuhkan oleh SKB Kulon Progo dan untuk meningkatkan mutu di SKB Kulon progo. dari hasil penilaian kebutuhan di analisis dan direncanakan program-program berdasarkan hasil dari analisis dan selanjutnya di diskusikan pada pamong belajar program-program yang sudah melalui tahapan ini di baut matrik sebagai panduan penyelengaraan program. Pelaksanaan program kegiatan di sesuaikan dengan matrik yang dibuat. Walaupun dalam prakteknya ada yang tidak sesuai dengan yang ada di matrik sebisa mungkin di sesuaikan dengan matrik program yang sudah di buat. Setelah pelaksanaan program di evaluasi dengan metode yang di tetapkan sebelumnya. Evaluasi yang di lakukan untuk menilai dan mengukur program yang sudah dilaksankan

A 4-Component Dirac Theory of Ionization of Hydrogen Molecular Ion in a Super-Intense Laser Field

In this paper a 4-component Dirac theory of ionization of hydrogen molecular ion in a super-intense laser field is developed. Simple analytic expressions for the spin specific as well as the total ionization currents emitted from the ground state of the ion are derived. The results are given for all polarization and finite propagation vectors of the field. They apply for inner-shell ionization of analogous heavier molecular ions as well. The presence of molecular two-slit interference effect, first found in the non-relativistic case, and the spin-flip ionization current, and an asymmetry of the up- and down-spin currents similar to that predicted in the atomic case, are found also to hold for the present relativistic molecular ionic case. Finally, the possibility of controlling the dominant spin currents by selecting the handedness of a circularly polarized incident laser field is pointed out.Comment: 7 pages, no figure

Biomass Residue from Palm Oil Mills in Aceh Province: A Potential Usage for Sustainable Energy

Palm oil is one of the major agro industries in Aceh province. There are 25 crude palm oil (CPO) Mills in Aceh located in 8 districts with 551.12 tons/hour total capacity. The mills are concentrated in five districts along the western and eastern coasts, Aceh Utara, Aceh Timur, Aceh Tamiang, Nagan Raya, and Aceh Singkil (including the newly-established municipality of Subullusalam). As the climatic conditions in the Aceh are suitable for palm trees, the oil palm plantation area has expanded every year. The processing of FFB (Fresh fruit bunches) in palm oil mill produced a biomass residue that mainly consist of EFB (Empty fruit bunches), fiber, shells, and POME (Palm oil mill effluent). This study investigates the potential usage of biomass residue from palm oil mills in Aceh province. Results of the study indicated that the fiber and shells are mainly used as fuel for the mill boilers to generate heat and electricity for the whole plant. The EFB is disposed and spread on the plantation, incinerated or dumped in unmanaged sites. The POME is treated in the anaerobic and aerobic ponds, then normally being discharged into waterways or rivers. In some mills, the treated POME was spread to the plantation for fertilizer. Based on investigation on site, it shows that the load factor of the mill is only about 70% of capacity, thus the mills are inefficient since a lot of energy is lost. The use of EFB is very potential to be implemented in Aceh since this province produce of 724,185 ton EFB per year. With the total capacity of 551.12 tons/hour, palm oil mills in Aceh produce about 426.12 tons/hr of POME that also can be converted into energy. If 3.37 million ton FFB are treated in Aceh CPO mills, biogas energy of about 1.51 millions GJ will be produced

ANALISIS KETERPAKAIAN KURIKULUM PRODI PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA FTIK IAIN LANGSA PADA DUNIA KERJA ALUMNI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kesesuaian dan menganalisis kekurangan kurikulum yang sedang berlaku pada Prodi Pendidikan Matematika FTIK IAIN Langsa dengan tuntutan stakeholder. Rancangan penelitian adalah rancangan survey dengan pedekatan kuantitatif. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah alumni Prodi Pendidikan Matematika FTIK IAIN Langsa di beberapa kabupaten kota yaitu Kota Langsa, Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang, Kabupaten Aceh Timur, serta beberapa kabupaten di provinsi Sumatera Utara dan Riau. Sampel merupakan mahasiswa yang memiliki akses internet karena pengumpulan data menggunakan link google form. Pemilihan Kabupaten tersebut, didasarkan pada banyaknya alumni Pendidikan Matematika yang sudah bekerja maupun kemudahan menjangkau daerah-daerah tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang terdiri dari 18 item pernyataan. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kurikulum prodi Pendidikan Matematika sudah sesuai kebutuhan stakeholder dalam dunia kerja, dan terdapat beberapa matakuliah yang perlu dilakukan perubahan sesuai dengan tuntutan stakeholder yakni mata kuliah pilihan khusus untuk matematika sekolah, matematika peminatan, matematika perguruan tinggi (pascasarjana) dan lainnya untuk mempersiapkan alumni untuk berkiprah sesuai keinginannya. Dengan demikian perlu peninjauan mata kuliah pilihan seperti Pemecahan Masalah dan Pemodelan Matematika serta pengembangan beberapa mata kuliah seperti Metode Numerik yang sesuai dengan tuntutan di lapangan.  Kata Kunci: Analisis Kurikulum, Prodi Pendidikan Matematika, dan Dunia Kerja Alumn

Post 9-11 U.S. Muslim Labor Market Outcomes

Using a difference-in-differences framework and micro data from the Current Population Survey-Merged Outgoing Rotation Group Files (1999 to 2004), this paper estimates the impact that the 9-11 terrorists attacks had on the U.S. labor market outcomes of individuals with nativity profiles similar to the terrorists. We find that shortly after the attacks, the employmentpopulation ratios and hours worked of very young (ages 16 to 25) Muslim men fell. By 2004, most losses had begun to dissipate. The employment-population ratios and hours worked of older Muslim men experienced little deterioration.
