O presente trabalho, objetiva realizar uma breve reflexão teórica sobre alguns conceitos da teoria psicanalítica, como inconsciente, linguagem, sujeito, entre outros, através de uma articulação com poemas retirados da obra do poeta brasileiro Manoel de Barros. Freud afirma que o poeta, em seus escritos descarrega seus afetos e tensões inconscientes. Logo, pode-se dizer que tanto a psicanálise quanto a poesia têm em comum a capacidade de proporcionar os sujeitos perceberem o mundo através de uma lógica que não é racional, e sim a lógica do inconsciente

DIREITOS HUMANOS E JUVENTUDE: REPRESENTAÇÕES DA ADOLESCÊNCIA EM CONFLITO COM A LEI NO BRASIL

Discussões acerca da redução da maioridade penal, bem como da criação de uma justiça juvenil vêm ganhando espaço no campo das políticas públicas voltadas para este segmento. Segundo esta direção, este trabalho propõe um resgate da história dos sistemas de vigilância e punição e das ações voltadas para a penalização dos adolescentes autores de atos infracionais. Por meio de uma revisão de literatura, busca-se tecer um quadro das transformações no sistema punitivo infantil brasileiro e sua consolidação enquanto sistema socioeducativo. Observou-se que no decorrer do processo histórico brasileiro ocorreu a passagem da visão da criança e do adolescente como objetos de repressão para sujeito de direitos e, ultimamente, a inclusão destes enquanto “classe perigosa” e “sujeitos à punição”, ideologia esta que acaba influindo de maneira decisiva na constituição de políticas públicas voltadas para a questão do adolescente em conflito com a lei

Social vulnerability still affects many people, especially if there are no public policies on education, welfare, health and safety. It can have negative consequences both physical, and psychic. Amidst this scenario, it is clear that art can bring benefits to the individual. We chose to roost for this research to be a wide artistic expression, involving various expressions, as well as being one of the largest and oldest art forms in Brazil, with traces of the black community that was enslaved in colonial and imperial Brazil. This study aimed to understand how participation in the Santa Terezinha Foundation capoeira group in Pompey-EC Senator interfere in the construction of identity of adolescents in socially vulnerable. It is a country and qualitative research, as well as descriptive and exploratory, using case study. Data were collected in Santa Terezinha Foundation in Senador Pompeu, from March to May. Made use of questionnaire and semi-structured interviews conducted with 2 teenager’s capoeira group. Content analysis revealed categories like "Capoeira and its personal meaning", "capoeira teacher Meaning" and "Identity and (m) metamorphosis." It was noticed several positive changes in the lives of these subjects, where this article can be effective in targeted intervention practices for this audience, and demonstrate the importance of public policies that encourage the poultry, especially in unfavourable contexts and social vulnerability

Preditores favoráveis e desfavoráveis associados à cobertura da vacina contra o Papilomavírus Humano no Brasil: um estudo de revisão integrativa

A falta de adesão a vacina contra o Papillomavirus Humano (HPV sigla em inglês para Papilomavírus humano), que pode reduzir significativamente cânceres ocasionados pelos subtipos de vírus do HPV, tem sido evidenciado no Brasil, pelo Ministério da Saúde, e considerado um problema de saúde pública. Identificar os fatores que possam influenciar a cobertura vacinal contra o HPV na população brasileira, sejam estes fatores favoráveis ou não. Estudo de revisão integrativa, nas bases de dados Pubmed/Medline, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e British Medical Journal (BMJ), utilizando os descritores controlados: “Papillomavirus infections”, “papillomavirus vaccines”, “vaccination coverage” e "Brazil"; selecionado estudos publicados nos últimos 5 anos no idioma inglês e português. Um total de 65 estudos foram identificados na busca eletrônica, sendo 24, 29 e 12 estudos na Pubmed/Medline, BVS e BMJ respectivamente. O texto completo de 11 artigos foi analisado e incluídos no estudo. Os fatores envolvidos na adesão à vacinação contra o HPV nos estados brasileiros foram distribuídos em grupos, favoráveis (41,3%) e desfavoráveis (58,7%). Estes foram distribuídos em quatro subgrupos associados a cobertura vacinal contra o HPV, conforme determinantes demográficos: sociais (n=5) culturais (n=4) políticos (n=4) e econômicos (n=5). Em ambos os grupos, os fatores sociais foram mais prevalentes. Diante de uma evidente prevalência de fatores desfavoráveis à vacinação contra o HPV, com destaque para os aspectos sociais, faz-se necessário cada vez mais compreender os fatores determinantes que influenciam a decisão de se vacinar contra o HPV, a fim de direcionar as intervenções de promoção da saúde. Em complemento, devem ser considerados ações de saúde que visam esclarecer dúvidas, desmistificar crenças errôneas e abordar receios de aceitação, especialmente em grupos populacionais menos propensos a receber a vacina contra o HPV

Antimicrobial activity and cellulose acetate membrane characterization with tangerine peel extract (Citrus reticulata) for bio packing

Biopacking material was obtained by incorporating tangerine peel extract (Citrus reticulata) in cellulose acetate (CA) film. The acetate film with tangerine extract was shown to have a homogeneous material characteristic by FTIR and DSC analysis, being reinforced in MEV and MFA, and showed absence of pores in the film with extract. These characteristics justify the reduced water absorption and release of the CA membrane extract. Low water absorption is important for the film to act as a barrier with external environment and the release of the extract was sufficient to prevent the growth of the strains investigated on the sample surface. The introduction of the extract also reduced the tensile strength and deformation of the film. This study showed the good potential of biomass for active bio packing that can gradually replace non-renewable packaging and take advantage of agricultural waste

Association Between Periodontitis and Cognitive Impairment in Adults: A Systematic Review

Periodontitis is an oral inflammatory disease and may contribute to low-grade systemic inflammation. Based on the contribution of periodontitis to systemic inflammation and the potential role of systemic inflammation in neuroinflammation, many epidemiological studies have investigated a possible association between periodontitis and mild cognitive impairment or dementia. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical/epidemiological evidence regarding the association between periodontitis and cognitive decline in adult patients. A search conducted between September and October 2018 was performed in the electronic databases PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, The Cochrane Library, LILACS, OpenGrey, and Google Scholar, with no publication date or language restrictions. Analytical observational studies in adults (P—Participants), with (E—Exposure) and without periodontitis (C—Comparison) were included in order to determine the association between periodontitis and cognitive decline (O—Outcome). The search identified 509 references, of which eight observational studies were accorded with the eligibility criteria and evaluated. The results should, however, be interpreted cautiously due to the limited number of studies. This systematic review points to the need for further well-designed studies, such as longitudinal observational studies with control of modifiable variables, as diagnostic criteria and time since diagnosis of periodontitis and cognitive impairment, to confirm the proposed association

Physical Activity Reduces the Prevalence of Periodontal Disease: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Background: Regular physical activity boosts several physical capacities and reduces many inflammatory markers of several diseases. In this sense, periodontal disease is a multifactorial inflammatory disease of tooth supporting tissues that has been claimed to trigger processes of systemic alterations. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to assess the effects of physical activity on periodontal disease.Methods: Observational studies published until August 2018 were searched in online databases (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, The Cochrane Library, LILACS, OpenGrey, and Google Scholar) after developing a PECO statement that focused on the comparison between adults that followed a routine of exercises or presented a sedentary lifestyle and its effects on periodontal disease. Searching and data extraction were conducted by following PRISMA guidelines. Registration protocol: CRD42016049661. Quality assessment and risk of bias were analyzed by following Fowkes and Fulton protocol.Results: A total of 512 references were retrieved, while only seven were considered eligible. Two meta-analysis involving the prevalence of periodontal disease and unadjusted/adjusted Odds ratio were performed. One of studies did not find association between clinical periodontal parameters and physical activity. Six articles suggested an association between periodontal disease and regular practice of physical activity since a reduction of periodontal prevalence was observed. Moderate level of evidence was demonstrated on GRADE analysis.Conclusion: Physical activity was associated as a potential tool for reduction of periodontal disease prevalence. The frequency of physical activity is directly related to a low occurrence of periodontitis. However, it is important that further investigations evaluate the effects of other exercise variables, such as volume and intensity, on the periodontal disease prevalence
