Microstructural Changes During Laser Beam Welding of Austenitic Stainless-Steel Sheets
The purpose of our study was to investigate the properties of welded joints formed by 1.5 mm thick plates with a diode laser beam equipment. The technological parameters influence the shape of the weld metal. In the heat affected zone no grain coarsening appeared. Increasing the welding speed, in case of similar laser power, the ferrite content of weld metal decreases. The hardness’ of the streams are higher than that of base metal, but the highest values were measured in heat affected zones

Kutatásunk cĂ©lja 1,5 mm vastagságĂş ausztenites korrĂłzióállĂł lemezek diĂłdalĂ©zeres hegesztĹ‘berendezĂ©ssel lĂ©trehozott hegesztett kötĂ©sek tulajdonságainak vizsgálata volt A vizsgálatok azt mutatták, hogy alkalmazott technolĂłgiai paramĂ©terek befolyásolják a varrat alakját. A hĹ‘hatásövezetben nem törtĂ©nt szemcsedurvulás. Azonos lĂ©zerteljesĂtmĂ©ny mellett a varratok ferrittartalma csökkent a hegesztĂ©si sebessĂ©g növelĂ©sĂ©vel. Observation of conduction electron spin resonance in boron doped diamond
We observe the electron spin resonance of conduction electrons in boron doped
(6400 ppm) superconducting diamond (Tc =3.8 K). We clearly identify the
benchmarks of conduction electron spin resonance (CESR): the nearly temperature
independent ESR signal intensity and its magnitude which is in good agreement
with that expected from the density of states through the Pauli
spin-susceptibility. The temperature dependent CESR linewidth weakly increases
with increasing temperature which can be understood in the framework of the
Elliott-Yafet theory of spin-relaxation. An anomalous and yet unexplained
relation is observed between the g-factor, CESR linewidth, and the resistivity
using the empirical Elliott-Yafet relation.Comment: 10 pages, 11 figures, submitted to Phys. Rev.
