Supplementary Materials for English Lesson Grade Seven in Elia Christian Middle School
This project is based on the writer's internship in Elia Christian Junior High School from April, 7 to June, 5 2015 The writer thought that it was a good thing to make supplementary materials as a final project because of some problems the writer faced earlier during the internship. There was not sufficient interesting material in the textbook and lack of students' participation in the classroom. The writer wrote some suggested supplementary materials that he thought was good according to the analysis of the textbook to supplement the material written in the KTSP curriculum textbook. By having some creative activities during the lessons, hopefully they can change the habit of their English learning, to be more actively participated in every English class
The Large Footprints of H-Space on Asymptotically Flat Space-Times
We show that certain structures defined on the complex four dimensional space
known as H-Space have considerable relevance for its closely associated
asymptotically flat real physical space-time. More specifically for every
complex analytic curve on the H-space there is an asymptotically shear-free
null geodesic congruence in the physical space-time. There are specific
geometric structures that allow this world-line to be chosen in a unique
canonical fashion giving it physical meaning and significance.Comment: 7 page
Image Analysis for Facility Siting: a Comparison of Lowand High-altitude Image Interpretability for Land Use/land Cover Mapping
For two test sites in Pennsylvania the interpretability of commercially acquired low-altitude and existing high-altitude aerial photography are documented in terms of time, costs, and accuracy for Anderson Level II land use/land cover mapping. Information extracted from the imagery is to be used in the evaluation process for siting energy facilities. Land use/land cover maps were drawn at 1:24,000 scale using commercially flown color infrared photography obtained from the United States Geological Surveys' EROS Data Center. Detailed accuracy assessment of the maps generated by manual image analysis was accomplished employing a stratified unaligned adequate class representation. Both 'area-weighted' and 'by-class' accuracies were documented and field-verified. A discrepancy map was also drawn to illustrate differences in classifications between the two map scales. Results show that the 1:24,000 scale map set was more accurate (99% to 94% area-weighted) than the 1:62,500 scale set, especially when sampled by class (96% to 66%). The 1:24,000 scale maps were also more time-consuming and costly to produce, due mainly to higher image acquisition costs
THE PRENATAL GROWTH OF THE MOUSE
1. The general course of prenatal growth in the mouse, the guinea pig, and the chick can be expressed by straight line relations between the logarithms of the weight and age only when age is counted from the beginning of the embryo proper. 2. This is interpreted as showing that the manner of growth before the beginning of the embryo proper is essentially different from that after this time. 3. The velocity constants for the animals mentioned are similar; the major differences in their curves depend on the amount of tissue involved in the first organization of the embryo proper and in the length of prenatal life. 4. Growth of different animals may be compared more accurately if, instead of either birth age or conception age, embryo age is used
Twisting Null Geodesic Congruences, Scri, H-Space and Spin-Angular Momentum
The purpose of this work is to return, with a new observation and rather
unconventional point of view, to the study of asymptotically flat solutions of
Einstein equations. The essential observation is that from a given
asymptotically flat space-time with a given Bondi shear, one can find (by
integrating a partial differential equation) a class of asymptotically
shear-free (but, in general, twistiing) null geodesic congruences. The class is
uniquely given up to the arbitrary choice of a complex analytic world-line in a
four-parameter complex space. Surprisingly this parameter space turns out to be
the H-space that is associated with the real physical space-time under
consideration. The main development in this work is the demonstration of how
this complex world-line can be made both unique and also given a physical
meaning. More specifically by forcing or requiring a certain term in the
asymptotic Weyl tensor to vanish, the world-line is uniquely determined and
becomes (by several arguments) identified as the `complex center-of-mass'.
Roughly, its imaginary part becomes identified with the intrinsic spin-angular
momentum while the real part yields the orbital angular momentum.Comment: 26 pages, authors were relisted alphabeticall
Pembuatan Virtual Map Gedung P Lantai 2 Dan 3 Universitas Kristen Petra Dengan Oculus Rift
Development and competition in the University of Indonesia is extremely tight. Petra Christian University is also the University's long-standing and well known to many people in Indonesia. Prospective students would like to see more clearly the form and facilities owned by the University. The difficulties that exist in prospective students who reside outside the island, as it requires large transportation costs if you want to visit Petra Christian University. Based on thisproblem, so in this study will be the creation of applications. This application aims to facilitate students who saw virtually Petra Christian University. Results in this application, the position and shape of the object on the building resembles the original state that existed at Petra Christian University.Barriers time of making a major factor, so it cannot make the building more in detail. The whole room labs and classrooms on the 2nd floor of the building and lecturer room in the 3rd floor already done, there are only a few sections still proceed example at the laboratory assistant room, and a small part.Disadvantages of this application, requires a computer specification high enough to run the application. This is because the memory is generated in this application can be fairly large
Bulgac-Kusnezov-Nos\'e-Hoover thermostats
In this paper we formulate Bulgac-Kusnezov constant temperature dynamics in
phase space by means of non-Hamiltonian brackets. Two generalized versions of
the dynamics are similarly defined: one where the Bulgac-Kusnezov demons are
globally controlled by means of a single additional Nos\'e variable, and
another where each demon is coupled to an independent Nos\'e-Hoover thermostat.
Numerically stable and efficient measure-preserving time-reversible algorithms
are derived in a systematic way for each case. The chaotic properties of the
different phase space flows are numerically illustrated through the
paradigmatic example of the one-dimensional harmonic oscillator. It is found
that, while the simple Bulgac-Kusnezov thermostat is apparently not ergodic,
both of the Nos\'e-Hoover controlled dynamics sample the canonical distribution
correctly
CR Structures and Asymptotically Flat Space-Times
We discuss the unique existence, arising by analogy to that in algebraically
special space-times, of a CR structure realized on null infinity for any
asymptotically flat Einstein or Einstein-Maxwell space-time.Comment: 6 page
