In this article, we submit the description of synthesis and identification of manganese(II) complexes with pyrogenic nanosilica-immobilized (d av = 10 nm; S sp = 290 m2/g) hydroxyaldimine ligands (Mn(L)2/Si): salicilaldiminopropyl (L1); 5-bromosalicilaldiminopropyl (L2); 2-hydroxynaphtaldiminopropyl (L3); 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldiminopropyl (L4); 2-hydroxy-3,5-dichloroacetophenoniminopropyl (L5); and 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldiminopropyl (L6). The ligands and complexes were characterized by UV-VIS and IR spectrometry. Nanocomposites consisting of complexes Mn(L)2/Si showed a high catalytic activity in low-temperature ozone decomposition in the range of concentrations between 2.1 × 10−6 and 8.4 × 10−6 mol/l. The number of catalytic cycles increased for isostructural pseudotetrahedral complexes Mn(L)2/Si (L1–L5) in the following order: Mn(L3)2 >> Mn(L4)2 > Mn(L1)2 > Mn(L2)2 > Mn(L5)2. In the case of pseudooctahedral complexes with L6, the change of coordination polyhedral does not influence the kinetics and stoichiometric parameters of the reaction

On the Question of Assessing the Impact Warning System for Emergencies Potentially Dangerous Objects on the Ability of Troops (Forces)

The article examines the issues of assessing the impact of the emergency warning system on potentially dangerous objects on the capabilities of troops (forces). Effective use of troops (forces) in emergencies at potentially dangerous sites is possible only if the location (base) is equipped with appropriate warning systems. The effectiveness of a warning system can be assessed by a probabilistic indicator of the ability of this system to perform its tasks of warning troops (forces) about emergencies at potentially dangerous objects. It is proposed to evaluate the effectiveness of the warning system with an appropriate indicator, which depends on the probability of perception by the personnel of the warning signal and the probability of adequate response of the personnel to the warning signal

The aim. To give a brief literature review of the biological features of Viscum album L., transpiration of these plants, features of the systematic situation, distribution in the world. There was determined the distribution and general trends of the semi-parasite plant on the territory of the National Botanical Garden named after M. M. Grishka NAS of Ukraine.Materials and methods. The research was conducted on the territory of the National Botanical Garden named after M. M. Grishka NAS of Ukraine. Visual inspection of trees and bushes for Viscum album L. was carried out, their location was determined, followed by presentation of the results on the map of the botanical garden. The degree of damage to host plants was determined.Results. The map of the National Botanical Garden (NBG) named after M. M. Grishka of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine with the affected plants marked on it, is presented. A generalized list of host plants inhabited by Viscum album L. on the territory of the NBS has been compiled. The most affected plants were identified and found to belong to 7 orders of magnitude.Conclusions. The total number (50) of plants introduced to the NBG, on which Viscum album settles, as well as the areas with the largest number of affected plants were determined. For the results of the study, we examined the V. album, which is supported to the following files Fabales, Fagales, Lamiales, Malpighiales, Malvales, Rosales and Sapindales. Identified a larger number of affected semi-parasites of cultivation - Robinia pseudoacacia, which has many plants in the NBG

International Approach to Structuring Liquidity of Banking Systems

    No full text
The goal of the article is analysis of liquidity as a system category and study of essential transformation of liquidity from the purely banking notion to its wider interpretation as a financial system category on the basis of international approaches in this sphere. The article states that the liquidity notion is one of the fundamental ones in the theory of finance and banking business, but, until now, the issue of the nature of liquidity has not been completely developed yet. The article also states that the system nature of liquidity is expressed, in international practice, in availability of interaction of specific forms of its manifestation, such as the Central Bank liquidity (monetary basis of the economy), market liquidity (inter-bank market and asset market) and financing liquidity (liquidity of institutional units). In the result of the study the article offers such interpretation of the banking system liquidity as a complex dynamic interaction of such elements as the Central Bank liquidity, liquidity of individual banking institutions and markets (both at national and international levels), which ensures execution of their obligations by banks, easy flow of financial resources and their efficient re-distribution between economic subjects, ensuring continuous general growth of economy
