Information growth in the web medium has required the necessity of archiving these information to transmit them to future generations. Web archiving is a versatile application which covers technical, legal and organizational dimensions. Any stage within the life cycle of digital information is critically important for the information in web environment. All over the world, many countries have started web archiving efforts through the leadership of their national libraries and attempted to carry these initiatives on a legal bases. In the light of these developments, this paper examines the necessity and major techniques in web archiving and it also discuss national and international web archiving projects.

Separation between amniotic and chorionic membranes is a normal sonographic finding before 14th weeks of gestation. As pregnancy progresses, these membranes fuse and chorionic cavity becomes obliterated. Chorioamniotic membrane separation may occur spontaneously or as a complication of invasive intrauterine procedures. Following invasive fetal intervention, resulting in a condition referred to as chorioamniotic membrane separation (CMS) and it is reported to be associated with adverse perinatal fetal outcomes. Here we present a case of CMS that had occurred after a second trimester amniocentesis and resulted with the delivery of a term healthy baby. Complete post-interventional CMS may complicate pregnancy progression. Although there are no established guidelines to follow, close follow-up may CMS can be managed to be a morbid, rather than mortal condition

Echocardiographic findings in newborns of gestational diabetic mothers and its relationship with somatomedin-C

Background: Diabetes is an important disease that affects fetal development during pregnancy and causes metabolic disorders in newborns. Changes in serum glucose, ketone bodies, and somatomedin-C inhibitors in the diabetic pregnancies are responsible for the development of metabolic syndromes. The frequency of maternal hyperglycemia has reduced with careful monitoring during pregnancy of diabetic mothers. Nevertheless, morbidity in offspring of mothers with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) continues to be significant. We aimed to investigate the cardiac function of infants of mothers with GDM by echocardiographic (ECHO) Doppler and tissue Doppler methods and to evaluate their demographic features, somatomedin-C level and the relations them with each other

Systemic onset juvenile idiopathic arthritis with macrophage activation syndrome and coronary artery dilatation misdiagnosed as Kawasaki disease. Turk J Pediatr 2015; 57: 518-521.Systemic onset juvenile idiopathic arthritis (SoJIA) is characterized by arthritis, fever and visceral organ involvement including hepatosplenomegaly, lympadenopathy and serositis. This is a case of SoJIA misdiagnosed as Kawasaki disease (KD) and developed machrophage activation syndrome (MAS) secondary to Ebstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection. It is presented to point out the conditions that may come along. First of all, SoJIA should be kept in mind while making the differential diagnosis of coronary arterial ectasias and dilatations usually seen in vasculitic diseases like KD. Second, as a very fatal complication MAS should always be considered while following a patient with the diagnosis of SoJIA. Infections like EBV may be the potential triggers for development of MAS especially in immunesupressed patient
