Murabahah financing is financing services in the form of buying and selling by installments. Sale and purchase agreement with the original price of the goods at the additional profit agreed. The seller must notify the cost and decide the level of profit as additional with customer Agreement (the buyer). Agreement buying and selling goods on the original price with the additional profit agreed. As a banking, financial risk would be important to concern, because this risk often encountered at several bank. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of FDR (Financing to Deposit Ratio), OER (Operational Efficiency Ratio) and Good Corporate Governance to the risk of murabahah financing at BPR Shariah in East Java . The object of this study is 18 BPR Shariah in East Java according to data from Bank Indonesia at the year of 2012 - 2013. The methods used for testing is multiple regression analysis. The study results showed that independent variables FDR, OER and Good Corporate Governance with F-Test, simultaneously affect the risk of murabahah financing. The partially results by T-Test, FDR variable partially does not affect the significance value 0.985, OER partially effect the significance value 0.000 and Governance variable partially does not effect the significance value 0.679. Adjusted R Square value of 0.316 indicates that the risk of murabahah financing can be explained by the research variables of 31,6 %, while the rest is explained by other factors

article: Welfare State and Social Work in the Czech Republic after the fall of

Abstract This text shows the summary of the social state development in the Czech Republic from 1989 until 2013. It focuses on the changes done in the social security system which is the main holder of the social stability in social states of all kinds. The Czech Republic, similarly to the other post-communist countries, had to solvethe problem of transition from the deformed social policy of the totalitarian regime to modern welfare state systems based on democracy and respect towards human rights and freedom. Intended targets of the changes in newly designed social policy have been and still are unavailable, because the social, political and economic development in the Euro-American context would not wait until the work is done. This brings about special problems which -as we suppose -will be also reflected by the authors from other countries. This text tries to present intended and real changes in the social security system in the period of time named above. Let the kind reader evaluate

New Singular and Nonsingular Colliding Wave Solutions in Einstein - Maxwell - Scalar Theory

A technique is given to generate coupled scalar field solutions in colliding Einstein - Maxwell (EM) waves. By employing the Bell - Szekeres solution as seed and depending on the chosen scalar field it is possible to construct nonsingular solutions. If the original EM solution is already singular addition of scalar fields does not make the physics any better. In particular, scalar field solution that is transformable to spherical symmetry is plagued with singularities.Comment: 15 pages, To be published in GR

From bytes to bedside:a systematic review on the use and readiness of artificial intelligence in the neonatal and pediatric intensive care unit

    Get PDF
PurposeDespite its promise to enhance patient outcomes and support clinical decision making, clinical use of artificial intelligence (AI) models at the bedside remains limited. Translation of advancements in AI research into tangible clinical benefits is necessary to improve neonatal and pediatric care for critically ill patients. This systematic review seeks to assess the maturity of AI models in neonatal and pediatric intensive care unit (NICU and PICU) treatment, and their risk of bias and objectives.MethodsWe conducted a systematic search in Medline ALL, Embase, Web of Science Core Collection, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and Google Scholar. Studies using AI models during NICU or PICU stay were eligible for inclusion. Study design, objective, dataset size, level of validation, risk of bias, and technological readiness of the models were extracted.ResultsOut of the 1257 identified studies 262 were included. The majority of studies was conducted in the NICU (66%) and most had a high risk of bias (77%). An insufficient sample size was the main cause for this high risk of bias. No studies were identified that integrated an AI model in routine clinical practice and the majority of the studies remained in the prototyping and model development phase.ConclusionThe majority of AI models remain within the testing and prototyping phase and have a high risk of bias. Bridging the gap between designing and clinical implementation of AI models is needed to warrant safe and trustworthy AI models. Specific guidelines and approaches can help improve clinical outcome with usage of AI

Stationary BPS solutions to dilaton-axion gravity

    Get PDF
Stationary four-dimensional BPS solutions to gravity coupled bosonic theories admitting a three-dimensional sigma-model representation on coset spaces are interpreted as null geodesics of the target manifold equipped with a certain number of harmonic maps. For asymptotically flat (or Taub-NUT) space-times such geodesics can be directly parametrized in terms of charges saturating the Bogomol'nyi-Gibbons-Hull bound, and classified according to the structure of related coset matrices. We investigate in detail the ``dilaton-axion gravity'' with one vector field, and show that in the space of BPS solutions an SO(1,2)×SO(2)SO(1,2) \times SO(2) classical symmetry is acting. Within the present formalism the most general multicenter (IWP/Taub-NUT dyon) solutions are derived in a simple way. We also discover a large new class of asymptotically flat solutions for which the dilaton and axion charges are constrained only by the BPS bound. The string metrics for these solutions are generically regular. Both the IWP class and the new class contain massless solutions.Comment: 29 pages, Latex, no figures. To be published in Phys. Rev. D. U-Duality and Symplectic Formulation of Dilaton-Axion Gravity

We study a bosonic four--dimensional effective action corresponding to the heterotic string compactified on a 6--torus (dilaton--axion gravity with one vector field) on a curved space--time manifold possessing a time--like Killing vector field. Previously an existence of the SO(2,3)∌Sp(4,R)SO(2,3)\sim Sp(4, R) global symmetry (UU--duality) as well as the symmetric space property of the corresponding σ\sigma--model have been established following Neugebauer and Kramer approach. Here we present an explicit form of the Sp(4,R)Sp(4, R) generators in terms of coset variables and construct a representation of the coset in terms of the physical target space coordinates. Complex symmetric 2×22\times 2 matrix ZZ (``matrix dilaton --axion'') is introduced for which UU--duality takes the matrix valued SL(2,R)SL(2, R) form. In terms of this matrix the theory is further presented as a K\"ahler σ\sigma--model. This leads to a more concise 2×22\times 2 formulation which opens new ways to construct exact classical solutions. New solution (corresponding to constant ImZ{\rm Im} Z ) is obtained which describes the system of point massless magnetic monopoles endowed with axion charges equal to minus monopole charges. In such a system mutual magnetic repulsion is exactly balanced by axion attraction so that the resulting space time is locally flat but possesses multiple Taub--NUT singularities.Comment: LATEX, 20 pages, no figure

Ehlers-Harrison transformations and black holes in Dilaton-Axion Gravity with multiple vector fields

    Get PDF
Dilaton-axion gravity with pU(1)p U(1) vector fields is studied on space-times admitting a timelike Killing vector field. Three-dimensional sigma-model is derived in terms of K\"ahler geometry, and holomorphic representation of the SO(2,2+p) global symmetry is constructed. A general static black hole solution depending on 2p+52p+5 parameters is obtained via SO(2,2+p) covariantization of the Schwarzschild solution. The metric in the curvature coordinates looks as the variable mass Reissner-Nordstr\"om one and generically possesses two horizons. The inner horizon is pushed to the singularity if electric and magnetic SO(p) charge vectors are parallel. For non-parallel charges the inner horizon has a finite area except for an extremal limit when this property is preserved only for orthogonal charges. Extremal dyon configurations with orthogonal charges have finite horizon radii continuously varying from zero to the ADM mass. New general solution is endowed with a NUT parameter, asymptotic values of dilaton and axion, and a gauge parameter which can be used to ascribe any given value to one of scalar charges.Comment: 37 pages, Late
