A regionális növekedés új tényezői az evolúciós gazdaságföldrajzi kutatásokban
Hogyan befolyásolja egy térség gazdasági szerkezete a teljesítményét? Hogyan változik ez a szerkezet az időben? Erre a két alapkérdésre a közgazdaságtan több területén keresik a választ. Másrészt a technológiai közelség befolyásolja a térségek gazdasági szerkezetének időbeli változását.

A nukleon-elhullatási vonalakhoz közeli atommagok szerkezetének vizsgálata radioaktív ionnyalábokkal = Study of the structure of nuclei close to the driplines using radioactive ion beams
A héjszerkezet drámai változásain túl, a stabilitástól távol más, anomális jelenségek is felbukkannak. Ezentúl kimutattuk mélyebben kötött valencianeutronok lecsatolódását is a magtörzsről több neutrongazdag atommagban. A RIKEN új gyorsítóberendezésénél két nyalábidő pályázatunkat is elfogadtak, melyekben a fenti két témát tudjuk folytatni a világ vezető radioaktív ionnnyalábot előállító komplexumában. | The nuclear shell model works well close to the beta stability, and gives the magic numbers and shell closures observed also experimentally in the range of stable nuclei. Using radioactive ion beams, during the past 10-15 years, more and more data have been collected that indicate the change of these magic numbers under extreme conditions far from stability. In the frame of the present work, it was shown experimentally that the neutron magic numbers 8, 20 and 28 disappear for neutron rich nuclei and shell closures at 14 and 16 develop instead. In contrast, our experiments suggest that the magicity at 50 remains the same near the neutron dripline. Our most important result is that for the first time direct evidence was provided experimentally for the magnitude of the shell gap at N=20 and 16. Beyond the dramatic change of shell structure, other anomalies appear far from the stability. These are, e. g., the neutron halo or strong low energy, electric dipole (E1) excitations (pygmy). For the first time, we have been able to experimentally determine the decay pattern of these pygmy states in a neutron rich nucleus. Furthermore, the decoupling of more strongly bound valence neutrons from the nuclear core was also discovered in several neutron rich nuclei. Two of our proposals for beam time request at the new RIKEN accelerator facility have been accepted, so the continuation of the above two subjects is guaranteed at the world-leading radioactive ion beam complex

Overlapping generations can balance the fluctuations in the activity patterns of an endangered ground beetle species: long-term monitoring of Carabus hungaricus in Hungary
Abstract. 1. Carabus hungaricus is a ground beetle inhabiting the Pannonian steppes. It is highly endangered by fragmentation and abandonment of its habitat. 2. For five consecutive years, from 2006 to 2010, we used the mark– release-recapture technique in a grid of 270 live-capture pitfall traps to study its population ecology in sandy grasslands on Szentendrei Island in the Northern vicinity of Budapest, Hungary. 3. In total, 3950 individuals of C. hungaricus (1874 females and 2076 males)
were marked. 4. Population size was estimated at?2000 individuals per year; the estimates
for females were consistently higher than those for males. The minimum popu- lation size was 1317 ± 60.1 individuals in 2007, whereas the maximum was 2169.7 ± 108.8 individuals in 2008.
5. Adults older than a year formed?32–42% of the population, whereas individuals surviving for 3 years formed?10%, and those surviving for 4 years formed?2% of the population. Individuals older than 4 years comprised <1% of the population. Female survival rate was higher than that of male, but the
capture rate also differed between sexes. 6. Although the studied population showed considerable fluctuations in the
pattern of activity during the 5 years, its size seemed to be relatively stable, underlining the importance of overlapping generations
Naively Haar null sets in Polish groups
Let (G,⋅) be a Polish group. We say that a set X⊂G is Haar null if there exists a universally measurable set U⊃X and a Borel probability measure μ such that for every g,h∈G we have μ(gUh)=0. We call a set X naively Haar null if there exists a Borel probability measure μ such that for every g,h∈G we have μ(gXh)=0. Generalizing a result of Elekes and Steprāns, which answers the first part of Problem FC from Fremlin's list, we prove that in every abelian Polish group there exists a naively Haar null set that is not Haar null. © 201
Haar null sets without hulls
Let be an abelian Polish group, e.g. a separable Banach space. A subset
is called Haar null (in the sense of Christensen) if there exists
a Borel set and a Borel probability measure on such
that for every . The term shy is also commonly used for
Haar null, and co-Haar null sets are often called prevalent.
Answering an old question of Mycielski we show that if is not locally
compact then there exists a Borel Haar null set that is not contained in any
Haar null set. We also show that can be replaced by any
other class of the Borel hierarchy, which implies that the additivity of the
-ideal of Haar null sets is .
The definition of a generalised Haar null set is obtained by replacing the
Borelness of in the above definition by universal measurability. We give an
example of a generalised Haar null set that is not Haar null, more precisely we
construct a coanalytic generalised Haar null set without a Borel Haar null
hull. This solves Problem GP from Fremlin's problem list. Actually, all our
results readily generalise to all Polish groups that admit a two-sided
invariant metric.Comment: 10 page
Characterization of order types of pointwise linearly ordered families of Baire class 1 functions
In the 1970s M. Laczkovich posed the following problem: Let
denote the set of Baire class functions defined on an
uncountable Polish space equipped with the pointwise ordering.
The main result of the present paper is a complete
solution to this problem.
We prove that a linear order is isomorphic to a linearly ordered family of
Baire class functions iff it is isomorphic to a subset of the following
linear order that we call , where
is the set of strictly decreasing transfinite
sequences of reals in with last element , and , the so
called \emph{alternating lexicographical ordering}, is defined as follows: if
, and is the minimal ordinal where the
two sequences differ then we say that Using this characterization we easily reprove all
the known results and answer all the known open questions of the topic
