An Exploratory Review of Bangladesh Gas Sector: Latest Evidence and Areas of Further Research
This paper reviews and explores the latest evidence from the gas sector of Bangladesh and highlights areas that would benefit from further research. The study reported actual consumption of gas by different sectors; projection of demands by various studies and plan documents; estimates of gas reserves and potential by various studies; and operation of the International Oil Companies (IOCs) in Bangladesh.Gas Sector, Bangladesh
Rational Hadamard products via Quantum Diagonal Operators
We use the remark that, through Bargmann-Fock representation, diagonal
operators of the Heisenberg-Weyl algebra are scalars for the Hadamard product
to give some properties (like the stability of periodic fonctions) of the
Hadamard product by a rational fraction. In particular, we provide through this
way explicit formulas for the multiplication table of the Hadamard product in
the algebra of rational functions in \C[[z]]
Teaching Population Health: Innovations in the integration of the healthcare and public health systems
Population health is a critical concept in healthcare delivery today. Many healthcare administrators are struggling to adapt their organization from fee-for-service to value delivery. Payers and patients expect healthcare leaders to understand how to deliver care under this new model. Health administration programs play a critical role in training future leaders of healthcare organizations to be adaptable and effective in this dynamic environment. The purpose of this research was to: (a) engage current educators of health administration students in a dialogue about the best practices of integrating the healthcare and public health systems; (b) identify the content and pedagogy for population health in the undergraduate and graduate curricula; and (c) discuss exemplar population health curriculum models, available course materials, and curriculum integration options. Authors conducted focus groups of participants attending this educational session at the 2017 annual AUPHA meeting. Qualitative analysis of the focus group discussions was performed and themes identified by a consensus process. Study findings provide validated recommendations for population health in the health administration curriculum. The identification of key content areas and pedagogical approaches serves to inform health educators as they prepare future health administrators to practice in this new era of population health
A Study of Aldehyde Derivatives of Metallic Sulfamates.
Sulfamic acid at one time had no particular value, and very little was known about the physical and chemical properties of this acid. At the present time , however, this acid is a commercial product of considerable importance and extensive investigation has been conducted to discover its many chemical properties. A very interesting group of compounds derived from sulfamates are the aldehyde addition products. The aldehyde derivatives of calcium sulfamate were studied and had a particular interest because of their greater stability, especially in the isolated, solid form. The aldehyde addition products of calcium studied included benzaldehyde, furfuraldehyde, for aldehyde, acetaldehyde, and cinnamic aldehyde. These compounds have been described in patent literature, using essentially the method described by Schroeter. The metallic sulfamates that have been investigated as electroplating agents include nickel, cobalt, cadmium, zinc and copper. These metals have been satisfactorily plated in smooth deposits from sulfamic acid solution. The present investigation was carried out to determine methods of preparing aldehyde derivatives of those metals that had been investigated for electroplating, so that chemical composition, physical properties, and electroplating properties of these compounds might be studied
