Optimization of the ground for CAB 6P (Prunus cerasus)

    Get PDF
Rooting is a process that is induced by many difficulties, especially in fruit trees. For this reason, four nutrient terrains that contain different concentrations of auxin ANA (α-naphthaleneacetic acid), BAP, GA3 and macro and micronutrient MSs are compared. Rizogenesis is observed after three to four weeks of cultivation on the ground of rupture. Explants react differently in each field used (Figures 4,5,6,7). The concentration of inorganic and auxinous ANA salts on the nutrient terrains affects the rooting index and the characteristics of the roots. Plants of the prunus cerasium L species showed better results during rooting cultivation I, where the rooting index was very high (90%), while in rooting field II (75%) (Mirrors, Graphs a, b). In the latter case (the rooting ground III), the high concentrations of ANA auxin induce the formation of the colon at the end of the stem in the CAB 6P herb. In this case, the number of roots is high, but they have an abnormal appearance, as they are too short and thick (Fig.B). The variance analysis (ANOVA), during the rooting stage of the four types of rootstocks, confirms some changes with respect to rooting index in each field (Table.3, Chart 1a, b). Based on the Variance Analysis Table (P F) then there is a statistical difference in the comparative data

The most important species of which have origin many populations, land-races and local varieties: wild cherry, wild pears, wild almond, wild medlar, etc. This study was focused in many important rootstocks of P. avium x P canascens - Gisela 6, P.avium x P. pseudocerasus - Colt (nano), P. mahaleb x P.avium (Maxma), P. Mahaleb and cultivar Prunus avium L. (Cerasus avium L. var. sativa Ser., P. cerasus): Bigarreau Hatif. Are used two important media in the micro propagation of the horticultural species above, MS (Murashige &Skoog) and LP (Quoirin & Lepoivre). Nutrients of MS media have affected with sensible changes compare with LP media, in the explants proliferation for differentiations of the buds, shoots and leafs. Inoculation of explants in LP media, results with lower result on the qualitative indicators of the research. Average growing of the shoots on the MS media, resulted 10.1 mm while on the LP media was 6.0 mm. Average number of leafs 2.47 on the MS media, while on the media LP was 1.34 leaf. In the statistic analyses for the min and max, in all the cases it has predominance of the MS media. Intensity of the growing has cv (coefficient of variation) = 63% and on the MS media results 1.88 highest of LP media

The influence of stems and oak chips on the fermentation and color stabilization during maturation of red wines produced by cv. Shesh i Zi

In Albania the autochthonous cv. ‘Shesh i Zi’ it is well known for red wine production. During the wine production, the main problem with this variety is the collapse of its color after alcoholic fermentation. The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of oak chips and stems during alcoholic fermentation. In this study, were used 100 kg grapes of cv. ‘Shesh i Zi’ from Tirana area. For the production of wines were used three different vinification schemes (classic, oak chips and stems). The wines were analyzed by spectrophotometric methods such total tannins, total anthocyanins, color parameters. The obtained results were statistically analyzed with Statistix 9 software. Wines produced in the presence of stems and oak chips increase the formation of bonds between tannins and anthocyanins preserving the color of the wines

The Role of AIA for Inducing Regeneration Embryogenesis that Palm

In a period of 3 years in the AUT, it is experimenting embryogenesis process of three palms: Washingonia Filifera, Phoenix Humilis and Chamareops Daxtylifera through the treatment with the solution of 50 ppm concentrations AIA, 200 ppm, 500 ppm sol hydroalcoholic and Control (water only). The seeds were immersed in the solutions for 24 hours and then are stored at the substrate of sand and peat (1: 1). During embryogenesis, temperature regimes: 18-200 C, and optimal humidity of the substrate. After germination, the main examinations were (i) the awakening and opening of the embryo, and the number of embryos / no (ii) the number and length of the radicle. Data are analyzed in JMP software for variance (alpha = 0:05). Genotypes Ch. Humilis, Ph. Daxtylifera and W Filifera treated with AIA 200 ppm have germination 94%, 93% and 97% while control; 46%, 44%, and 51%. Influence of AIA was simultaneous germination ability and radicle number compared with control. A number of radicles for three genotypes of palm was, respectively: Ch Humilis (9.6-1.9), Ph Daxtylifera (4.4-4.1) and W Filifera (2.5-1.6). The impact of AIA It has been indirect on the length of radicle and plant performance. In this case, embryogenesis expressed a cell potential found only in the zygote and instigated by the hormone. Dimensions of radicle were not interdependent of their number. As a conclusion embryogenesis induced by Auxin in any of its concentration it has given a good effect in awakening and regeneration of embryos. Keywords: Germination, AIA, Washingonia filifera, Chamareops humilis and Phoenix daxtylifera

This study was carried out to determine the most appropriate culture and plant growth regulators for micro propagation of CAB6P at AUT in the Department of Horticulture & Landscape Architecture. In the scope to evaluate the most efficient and effective protocol for the micro-propagation of the CAB 6P are analyzed four variants of rooting media with auxin additions naphtha acetic acid ANA, benzyl amine Purina BAP, Indol butyric acid IBA and gibberellins GA3 and without any change in the amount of vitamins in Murashige and Skoog: (i) Macro elements ½ MS, MS microelements, 0.1 mg l-1 ANA; (ii) Micro elements ½ MS, Macro elements MS, 0.1 mg l-1 ANA; (iii) Macro elements MS, microelements ½ MS, 2 mg l-1 ANA, iv) Macro Elements MS, Micro Element ½ MS, BAP 0.3 mg l-1, IBA 0.1 mg l-1, GA3 6.7 mg l-1Explants of species prunus cerasus L showed better results during inoculation and organogenesis in rooting media i, where rooting index was very high (90%), while in rooting media ii (75%).In rooting medium iii, high concentrations of ANA auxin induce the formation of callus at the end of the stomach in the plantlets of CAB 6P. Variance Analysis (ANOVA), using JMP software during the rooting phase of explants in four types of media rooting, confirms some changes in terms of rooting index in each media
