Važnost operativnog programa razvoja poljoprivrede i sela u južnoj prekodunavskoj regiji
The Agricultural and Rural Development Operational Programme from the Operational Programmes implementing the Hungarian National Development Plan is presented in this article. The authors describe the main properties of the agriculture and rural areas of South-Transdanubian Regiuon situated in the south-west part of Hungary. Based on the regional SWOT analisys, the objectives of agriculture and rural development are connected with the national Agricultural and Rural Development Operational Programme.
The expansion of rural income earning opportunities, the modernization of agrarian structure, the establishment of competitive basic material production and the modernisation of food processing are of great importanse.U članku je predstavljen operativni program razvoja poljo¬privrede i sela iz operativnih programa koji provode plan mađarskog nacionalnog razvoja. Autori opisuju glavne značajke poljoprivrednih i seoskih područja južne pre-kodunavske regije smještene u jugoza¬padnom dijelu Mađarske. Na temelju regionalne SWOT analize ciljevi poljoprivrednog i seoskog razvoja povezani su s nacionalnim opera¬tivnim programom razvoja poljoprivrede i sela.
Širenje mogućnosti zarade na selu, modernizacija poljopriv¬redne struk-ture, utemeljenje konkurentne osnovne materijalne proiz¬vodnje i moderni-zacija prerade hrane od velike su važnosti
Looking for Design in Materials Design
Despite great advances in computation, materials design is still science
fiction. The construction of structure-property relations on the quantum scale
will turn computational empiricism into true design.Comment: 3 pages, 1 figur
Dense cores in the dark cloud complex LDN1188
We present a molecular line emission study of the LDN1188 dark cloud complex
located in Cepheus. In this work we focused on the densest parts of the cloud
and on the close neighbourhood of infrared point sources. We made ammonia
mapping with the Effelsberg 100-m radio telescope and identified 3 dense cores.
CS(1--0), CS(2--1) and HCO(1--0) measurements performed with the Onsala
20\,m telescope revealed the distribution of dense molecular material. The
molecular line measurements were supplemented by mapping the dust emission at
1.2\,mm in some selected directions using the IRAM 30\,m telescope. With these
data we could work out a likely evolutionary sequence in this dark clould
complex.Comment: YouResAstro2012 conference presentation; accepted to Astronomishen

Office Hysteroscopic Treatment of Uterine Fibroids
Advances in endoscopic and therapeutic hysteroscopic technology have made the removal of submucosal fibroids possible in the outpatient setting. Removal of submucosal fibroids can be particularly challenging in the outpatients due to intramural components of some submucosal fibroids and the hard consistency of fibroids which makes specimen retrieval rather difficult through the endocervical canal. Fibroids which are <2 cm and completely intracavitary are easier to remove in the outpatients. Specimen retrieval can be addressed either by slicing the fibroid using bipolar electrodes, by using a hysteroscopic morcellator or leaving the fibroid in the uterine cavity after enucleation to be expelled with uterine contractions. Patient acceptability appears to be high in a small number of retrospective case series published in the literature. Further reports and data from prospective trials would be beneficial in improving our understanding of this procedure which appears to be performed by a relatively small number of centres
Impact of schizophrenia on anterior and posterior hippocampus during memory for complex scenes.
ObjectivesHippocampal dysfunction has been proposed as a mechanism for memory deficits in schizophrenia. Available evidence suggests that the anterior and posterior hippocampus could be differentially affected. Accordingly, we used fMRI to test the hypothesis that activity in posterior hippocampus is disproportionately reduced in schizophrenia, particularly during spatial memory retrieval.Methods26 healthy participants and 24 patients with schizophrenia from the UC Davis Early Psychosis Program were studied while fMRI was acquired on a 3 Tesla Siemens scanner. During encoding, participants were oriented to critical items through questions about item features (e.g., "Does the lamp have a square shade?") or spatial location (e.g., "Is the lamp on the table next to the couch?"). At test, participants determined whether scenes were changed or unchanged. fMRI analyses contrasted activation in a priori regions of interest (ROI) in anterior and posterior hippocampus during correct recognition of item changes and spatial changes.ResultsAs predicted, patients with schizophrenia exhibited reduced activation in the posterior hippocampus during detection of spatial changes but not during detection of item changes. Unexpectedly, patients exhibited increased activation of anterior hippocampus during detection of item changes. Whole brain analyses revealed reduced fronto-parietal and striatal activation in patients for spatial but not for item change trials.ConclusionsResults suggest a gradient of hippocampal dysfunction in which posterior hippocampus - which is necessary for processing fine-grained spatial relationships - is underactive, and anterior hippocampus - which may process context more globally - is overactive
The 3rd Flow Component as a QGP Signal
Earlier fluid dynamical calculations with QGP show a softening of the
directed flow while with hadronic matter this effect is absent. On the other
hand, we indicated that a third flow component shows up in the reaction plane
as an enhanced emission, which is orthogonal to the directed flow. This is not
shadowed by the deflected projectile and target, and shows up at measurable
rapidities, . To study the formation of this effect initial stages
of relativistic heavy ion collisions are studied. An effective string rope
model is presented for heavy ion collisions at RHIC energies. Our model takes
into account baryon recoil for both target and projectile, arising from the
acceleration of partons in an effective field. The typical field strength
(string tension) for RHIC energies is about 5-12 GeV/fm, what allows us to talk
about "string ropes". The results show that QGP forms a tilted disk, such that
the direction of the largest pressure gradient stays in the reaction plane, but
deviates from both the beam and the usual transverse flow directions. The
produced initial state can be used as an initial condition for further
hydrodynamical calculations. Such initial conditions lead to the creation of
third flow component. Recent measurements are promising that this effect
can be used as a diagnostic tool of the QGP
