“Section to Point” Correction Method for Wind Power Forecasting Based on Cloud Theory
As an intermittent energy, wind power has the characteristics of randomness and uncontrollability. It is of great significance to improve the accuracy of wind power forecasting. Currently, most models for wind power forecasting are based on wind speed forecasting. However, it is stuck in a dilemma called “garbage in, garbage out,” which means it is difficult to improve the forecasting accuracy without improving the accuracy of input data such as the wind speed. In this paper, a new model based on cloud theory is proposed. It establishes a more accurate relational model between the wind power and wind speed, which has lots of catastrophe points. Then, combined with the trend during adjacent time and the laws of historical data, the forecasting value will be corrected by the theory of “section to point” correction. It significantly improves the stability of forecasting accuracy and reduces significant forecasting errors at some particular points. At last, by analyzing the data of generation power and historical wind speed in Inner Mongolia, China, it is proved that the proposed method can effectively improve the accuracy of wind speed forecasting
Electrodiagnostic evaluation of carpal tunnel syndrome
Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the most common nerve entrapment. Electrodiagnostic (EDX) studies are a valid and reliable means of confirming the diagnosis. This monograph addresses the various EDX techniques used to evaluate the median nerve at the wrist. It also demonstrates the limitations of EDX studies with a focus on the sensitivity and specificity of EDX testing for CTS. The need to use reference values for populations such as diabetics and active workers, where normative values differ from conventional cutoffs used to confirm suspected CTS, is presented. The value of needle electromyography (EMG) is examined. Muscle Nerve, 2011Peer Reviewedhttp://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/87013/1/22208_ftp.pd

This is Your Brain on Football: Making Sense of Parents' Decision to Allow Their Child to Play Tackle Football
Parents make decisions on behalf of their children on a daily basis. Some parents in the United States face the unique decision of whether or not to allow football participation for their child at a very young age. Using sensemaking theory, I examined how parents assessed the risks involved in making the decision to allow their child to play tackle football. I interviewed 24 participants in the form of 12 parental couples who had children playing middle school football and coded their responses to identify themes and strategies for risk assessment. Themes that emerged were decision-agency (parent and child agency), risk assessment (downplaying risk, acknowledgement of risk with rationalizations, zero risk assessment), and decision-making concepts (cultural influence, familial identity, social influences, information sources). I expanded on the sensemaking supposition of individual identity by arguing that familial identity can also impact decision-making. A key finding to this study was the typology of parents that emerged including football families-parent agency, hesitant family- parent agency, and child focused family-child agency. The type of family reflected families' reception to community culture, impact of social influence, and openness to information sources. Family type also impacted the risk assessment process and belief of control over outcomes in football participation
Design of Management System under Fully Liberalizing the Power Generation and Utilization Plans for Operating Power Users
In June 2019, the National Development and Reform Commission announced the “Notice on Fully Liberalizing the Power Generation and Utilization Plans for Operating Power Users”. With the liberalization of power generation and utilization plans for operating power users, the number of market entities participating in cross-province and cross-region transactions and the scale of transactions have increased, and power trading services are facing severe challenges. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the power market transaction management system and platform. There is an urgent need to build a multidimensional interactive power trading service system, to sort out and improve the business processes of market entity registration, transaction, settlement, and performance guarantee. And it is vital through the comprehensive upgrade and improvement of the trading platform functions to ensure the surge in marketoriented business demand. In addition, a market entity credit management system and contract performance evaluation mechanism should be established to strictly regulate the order of transactions in the electricity market
Research on Risk Control under the Background of Electricity Futures Market
In the process of electricity marketization, the electricity futures market is an effective means to avoid the risk of electricity price fluctuations. Based on the background of the electricity futures market, this article first analyzes the physical and market factors of the price fluctuation risk in the electricity market; then, it studies the principle and implementation effects of the power futures hedging function; finally, the manufacturer’s strategy of hedging based on the price difference between the spot price of electricity and the price of forward contracts has been studied in detail. This article believes that the electricity futures market can effectively hedge the spot market risk, and hedging strategies based on the difference between the spot price and the forward price are better
Research on Distributed Energy Transaction Technology Based on Blockchain
The distributed power industry has the characteristics of multiple participants, long business processes, and wide distribution areas, which leads to serious data islands, difficulties in credit transmission, and outstanding transaction risks. Blockchain has technical characteristics such as openness, transparency, traceability, tamper resistance, and decentralization, making it an inevitable trend for its extensive and indepth application in the energy and power industry. The article first analyzes the generation and development of block technology, and then analyzes the current application status of block chain technology in distributed power transactions; then, based on the summary of existing research, it introduces in detail the blockchain-based technology The technical mechanism design of the distributed energy trading scheme analyzes the problems existing in the current application of blockchain in the field of distributed power trading, and proposes targeted development suggestions
Research on New Energy High-rate Dissipation Strategy under the Background of Renewable Energy Quota System
In recent years, China’s new energy has developed rapidly, and at the same time there have been serious problems of abandoning wind and abandoning light. In order to better solve the problem of new energy consumption, China officially implemented the renewable energy quota system in January 2019. Therefore, based on the current situation of new energy consumption in China, this paper first analyzes the impact of renewable energy quota policy from two aspects: capacity efficiency and grid connectivity effect, and then based on tapping local energy potential, accepting trans-regional power transmission, and optimizing outside the region. The corresponding new energy consumption strategy is proposed in the power transmission curve. Finally, based on the time series production simulation model, an empirical analysis is made on the consumption situation of a certain provincial power grid under different strategies in 2020. This paper provides a reference for promoting the proportion of new energy consumption in China
Analysis of The Characteristics And Potential of The Park's Energy Consumption Based On Typical Energy Usage Scenarios
This paper analyzes the main energy use scenarios of typical parks and studies the energy use characteristics of industrial parks, commercial complexes, and transportation hubs. By superimposing the energy consumption period and characteristics of large, medium and small users in the park, the overall energy consumption characteristics of the park and the typical load characteristics in summer and winter are studied, which helps to improve energy consumption behavior and increase energy ratio. In addition, in view of the superimposed energy consumption characteristics of the park, the article proposes two energy-saving methods to help the park use the peak-valley effect to reduce energy consumption
