Bakalářská práce "Proměna nádraží Praha-Bubny v průběhu času a kultury" se zabývá dodnes stále periferním územním úsekem holešovického meandru, nádražím Praha-Bubny. Popisuje historický vývoj oblasti od vzniku prvních obydlí u brodu spojujícího meandr s Prahou, přes průmyslovou revoluci a založení železničního areálu až po jeho opuštění a plánovanou přestavbu. Hlavním cílem práce ale je zmapování dodnes stojících drážních objektů s upozorněním na jejich historickou hodnotu a nutnost prezervace. V jednotlivých kapitolách jsou zohledněny dopady různorodých událostí na tyto nádražní objekty.The bachelor thesis "Transformation of the Praha-Bubny station over time and its future" deals with the Prague railway station Praha-Bubny which until nowadays belongs to the peripheral section of the so called Holešovice`s meander. In this work historical development of this area is being described since the first settings at the ford connecting meander with the city, through the industrial revolution and foundation of this railway station until its closing and planned reconstruction. However, the main topic of this thesis is to focus on the remaining industrial buildings and to point at their historical value and need of their preservation. Management of architecture competitions in Austria and the Czech Republic with regard to the importance of buildings' sustainability criteria

This thesis analyses issues with the management of architectural competitions in the Czech Republic and Austria. The first part focuses on the contest participants and methods for public procurement in architecture in the Czech Republic, and analyses the critical parts of the competition. This is followed by a chapter dedicated to Austrias legal code on architectural competitions. The theoretical part concludes with a description of the current situation with regard to the sustainability of buildings and to their management in architectural competitions in the Czech Republic and Austria. The final chapters compare the process of building retirement homes in Austria and the Czech Republic. The projects compare the announcement of the architectural competition, the management of the competition and the overall process. Both projects are compared for the implementation of sustainability requirements. The aim of my paper is to present and compare architectural competitions in the Czech Republic and Austria, with an analysis of how much the sustainability of buildings is taken into account within the competition rules. This thesis was completed using an analysis of available materials, a description of the situation and a comparative study

The issue of architecture competitions in field of the Museums of Arts in the Czech Republic.

This bachelor thesis describes the procedures of public procurement, specifically concerning art museum buildings. The first part is dedicated to the legal aspect of public procurement, the Czech Chamber of Architects and its competition code. Discussed also are other available methods of public procurement. The second part shows how the Gallery of West Bohemia in Pilsen and the Museum of Art Olomouc proceeded in the matter of announcing the architecture competition for their new buildings. The aim of this thesis is to ascertain whether proposal competitions are the most suitable method of public procurement. This thesis was completed through description of the situation and analysis of available materials

Diplomová práce analyzuje problematiku řízení architektonických soutěží v České republice a v Rakousku. První část je věnována účastníkům řízení a způsobům zadávání veřejných zakázek v oblasti architektury v České republice s rozborem kritických částí řízení. Plynule navazuje kapitola věnující se legislativní stránce rakouského řízení architektonických soutěží. Teoretická část je uzavřena deskripcí současné situace na poli udržitelnosti staveb a jejího zohlednění v řízení architektonických soutěží jak v České republice, tak v Rakousku. Poslední kapitoly demonstrují postupy dvou domovů důchodců při vypisování a řízení svých architektonických soutěží, postupy jsou mezi sebou následně komparovány. V rámci komparace je poukázáno na implementaci kritérií udržitelnosti. Cílem a zároveň metodickou výzkumnou otázkou práce je seznámení se s řízením soutěží v oblasti architektury v České republice a v Rakousku, jejich vzájemné porovnání a zjištění jak je v řízení soutěží zohledněna udržitelnost staveb.
