Gerenciamento de estoques de matéria prima em empresas subcontratadas: um estudo de caso entre empresas do ramo de eletrodomésticos de linha branca

Optar por uma política de terceirização de processos também auxilia para uma elevada variedade de material disponível para a linha de produção com qualidade afirmada e baixo custo de implantação e treinamento. Ainda sobre economia no decorrer dos processos, grandes companhias escolhem comprar material e abastecer seu terceirizado. Sendo assim, o presente trabalho tem como objeto de estudo o fluxo de materiais e informações entre uma multinacional do ramo de eletrodomésticos de linha branca e empresa prestadora de serviços de subcontratação. A premissa para a elaboração do trabalho leva em conta a visão acurada da necessidade de material para subcontratação, haja vista a futura demanda resultante do processo, a fim de possibilitar gestão do abastecimento de materiais armazenados que atenda de forma completa as exigências de ambas as empresas. Para alcançar tal objetivo, elaborou-se um modelo para a gestão de estoques entre as companhias, baseado em tempos de processo, levando em conta suas políticas internas e apoiado nas validações de profissionais de cada área envolvida. Tal equacionamento, chamado de Modelo Geral de Tempo de Ressuprimento, permite a visão de quantos dias antes o material deverá constar em estoque, dada sua necessidade na linha de produção, posteriormente ao processo de subcontratação.Stocks low cost without jeopardizing the supply of the market needs is one of the biggest challenges of current enterprises. Adopting a processes outsourcing policy also assists increasing the variety of available material for the assembly line, with affirmed quality and implantation-training low costs. Regarding economy during the processes, great companies still choose buying material and supplying its third party. Therefore, the present final paper has as object of study the materials and information flow between a multinational in the white goods branch and a subcontracting service provider company. The premise for the paper elaboration considers the accurate view of the need for outsourcing material, concerning the forthcoming demand resulted from the process, in order to allow optimal management of the supply of stored materials, which meets completely both requirements of the enterprises. To achieve this goal, a model for stocks management among the companies has been elaborated, based on process timing, taking into account their internal policies, and supported with the validation by professionals from each area engaged. This equation, called the General Model of Ressuply Time, allows the view of how many days before the material must be in stock, given its need in the production line, after the subcontracting process

Novel Conjugates of Porphyrins and Peptides as Light-Responsive Molecules and Materials

The conjugation of biological molecules with functional small molecules is a common strategy in medicinal and biological chemistry to obtain compounds with improved properties and additional functionalities.In this work, the conjugation of peptides and porphyrins was studied. The thiol-fluoride Nucleophilic Aromatic Substitution (SNAr) was selected as conjugation tool because cysteine can be naturally present or easily introduced in peptide sequences, whilst meso- derivatised porphyrins with polyfluorinated rings are synthetically accessible. Initially, in Chapter 2, the reaction was optimised using N-acetyl cysteine and hexafluorobenzene as a model scaffold. Different reaction conditions were also explored on model peptides, and their compatibility with the starting reagents was tested. Two new base/solvent combinations for peptide stapling on hexafluorobenzene were identified and one of these proved to be a robust bioconjugation tool for peptides and porphyrins as well. Subsequently, in Chapter 3, bolaamphiphilic peptides with self-assembling behaviour were designed to include a cysteine and allow porphyrin coupling. When combined, porphyrin and self-assembling peptides can give origin to supramolecular systems with regular morphology and ordered arrangement that enhance the photochemical properties of embedded chromophores. The bola-porphyrin conjugates formed supramolecular structures under different conditions of concentration, pH, temperature, ionic strength, and time. Finally, in Chapter 4, it was observed that fully unprotected peptides containing two or more cysteines can cyclise by reacting twice or further with the same porphyrin. Besides the advantages of constrained peptides over their linear counterparts, the integration of a functional scaffold within the cyclic architecture is a step forward for the development of novel multifunctional molecules. This technique provided controlled access to cyclic, bicyclic, and tricyclic peptide systems that could be used as mimics of natural machineries, molecular probes, light-activated drugs, and biomarker detection tools. In conclusion, mastery of a novel bioconjugation strategy for peptides and porphyrins was demonstrated. The reaction occurs in solution with unprotected peptides and using peptide-compatible conditions, but can also be performed on-resin under specific circumstances. This indicates chemoselectivity, robustness and wide applicability. Exploiting this synthetic approach, light-responsive soft materials were obtained from the self-assembly of porphyrin and bolaamphiphilic peptides and polyfluorinated were introduced porphyrin as a versatile scaffold for the cyclisation of bioactive peptides

Re-occurrence of the CD20 molecule expression subsequent to CD20-negative relapse in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

We report the first case of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) of the stomach displaying CD20-negative relapse after rituximab-containing treatment and the re-appearance of CD20 expression at the second failure. The loss of CD20 expression in B-cell lymphomas relapsing after rituximab is a well-known phenomenon, but its actual impact in DLBCL is difficult to estimate. This paradigmatic case suggests that CD20-expression reappearance after purging of CD20-positive clones with rituximab might be an underestimated occurrence in B-cell lymphomas. Accordingly, every relapse, whenever possible, should be histologically assessed with diagnostic and immunophenotyping purposes

Um software para auxílio a aprendizagem de linguagens regulares

Este trabalho apresenta o desenvolvimento do EduLing: software educacional para auxilio a aprendizagem de Linguagens Regulares, um tema pertinente ao estudo das Linguagens Formais. O software possibilita ao aluno experimentar a construção de autômatos e expressões regulares através de uma interface gráfica interativa. O aluno pode verificar a equivalência entre as diferentes representações de uma linguagem regular, bem como simular o reconhecimento de sentenças a fim de validar a linguagem construída. Resultados preliminares indicam que o software contribui para melhoria da qualidade do Ensino de Ciência da Computação.This paper presents the development of EduLing, an educational software for aid the learning of Regular Languages. The software allows students to experiment automatas and regular expressions construction and to verify the equivalence among them. EduLing interface was designed to help students to switch among different representations of regular languages and also simulate sentence recognition. Peptide-Tetrapyrrole Supramolecular Self-Assemblies: State of the Art.

The covalent and noncovalent association of self-assembling peptides and tetrapyrroles was explored as a way to generate systems that mimic Nature's functional supramolecular structures. Different types of peptides spontaneously assemble with porphyrins, phthalocyanines, or corroles to give long-range ordered architectures, whose structure is determined by the features of both components. The regular morphology and ordered molecular arrangement of these systems enhance the photochemical properties of embedded chromophores, allowing applications as photo-catalysts, antennas for dye-sensitized solar cells, biosensors, and agents for light-triggered therapies. Chemical modifications of peptide and tetrapyrrole structures and control over the assembly process can steer the organization and influence the properties of the resulting system. Here we provide a review of the field, focusing on the assemblies obtained from different classes of self-assembling peptides with tetrapyrroles, their morphologies and their applications as innovative functional materials
