Possibilities of using recycled glass for the preparation of blended cements

Tato práce se věnuje možnosti využití skelného recyklátu při výrobě směsných portlandských cementů. Zkoumá možnosti zlepšení pucolánových vlastností skelného recyklátu pomocí nových způsobů mletí, vznik aglomerátů materiálu během průběhu mletí a jejich následný vliv na hydratační proces pojiva. Rovněž je řešena optimalizace procesu mletí s ohledem na opotřebení mlecích těles, energetickou náročnost mletí a maximalizaci výkonu mlýna.This work focuses on the possibility of using recycled glass in the manufacture of blended portland cements. It examines the possibilities to improve pozzolanic properties of recycled glass with new milling processes, the formation of agglomerates material during the course of grinding and their subsequent effect on the hydration process of binders. It is also the optimization of the grinding process with respect to the wear of grinding bodies, grinding energy consumption and maximize the performance of the mill.

Recycling-Aware Building Design

The paper focuses on recycling in the building industry, placing emphasis on load-bearing building structures. Current practice is taken as the starting point, namely the processes of demolition, material separation and further processing. Based on collected data, the paper determines the key principles for good building design that takes into account future recycling

TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION IN THE COATBACT OF A PARTIALLY FIRE-PROTECTED MEMBER

Whenever fire unprotected steel members are attached to a fire-protected steel member and penetrate its passive fire protection, additional heat will be conducted to this member during a fire. This can result in a local hot spot in the primary member that may reduce the actual fire resistance. The wide variation in loss of fire resistance is because geometries can vary, and in particular because of the influence of the section factors of the attachments. The influence of the partial protection was experimentally and numerically studied at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Four partially fire-protected plates were heated according to the nominal standard fire curves in a small horizontal furnace. A Finite Element Analysis (FEA) was validated and was applied to a numerical study of an unprotected steel beam under fire separation sealing, which was connected to a steel column. A description was prepared of the development of heat for various fire exposures under fire protection of different lengths and nonlinear thermal conductivity with different section factors

Internet based control of laboratory models

Toto zadání řeší návrh dvou modelů, které jsou určeny pro výuku na PLC a v budoucnu i na software Control Web. Oba modely mají být použity v systému LabLink, který umožňuje vzdálenou práci na laboratorních zadáních. První softwarový model simuluje pohyb vláčků po železnici v závislosti na řízení z PLC. Druhý model je fyzický model vrtačky. U obou modelů je řešeno ovládání a způsob provedení, který umožní provoz bez nutnosti fyzického zásahu.This award solves design of two models that are designed to teach on PLC and in the future on the Control Web. Both models should be used in LabLink system, which allows you to remotely working on laboratory tasks. The first software model simulates the movement of trains on rail in relation on control from the PLC. The second model is a physical model of drill. In both models are solid managing and type of construction, which allows operation without physical intervention.

Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je návrh a posúdenie troch variant zaistenia brehového svahu. Úvodná časť sa zaoberá svahovými pohybmi. Druhá časť práce sa zaoberá jednotlivými možnosťami zaistenia brehového svahu. Posledná časť práce sa zaoberá troma navrhnutými variantami zaistenia brehového svahu a ich posúdeniu.
