    The influence of surface-active substances on the lubricating properties of drilling mud

    Lubricating additives are added to drilling mud to improve their lubricating properties. The importance of using lubricating additives lies in the reduction of friction due to the adsorption layer on the surface of the phase interface. The use of lubricating additives helps to increase the penetration of the bit and the mechanical speed of drilling. Lubricating additives also reduce friction between drill pipes and well walls. Drilling mud treated with surface-active substances (surfactants) are also known to have lubricating properties

This process is key to the problem of creating regular fruit-bearing and early-fruiting plantations. The article provides information on the organogenesis of buds in plants of columnar apple varieties in the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, which allows establishing the features of this process in complex fruit formations of different ages, and the levels of their productivity and longevity. Research to study the organogenesis of different-age fruit formations of columnar apple varieties was conducted in the northern part of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine during 2016–2020. The efficiency of realization the plants biological potential of all studied columnar apple varieties at III–IV and V–IX stages of organogenesis was high: the largest number of buds from their total number differentiated into generative on trees varieties ‘Sparta’, ‘President’, ‘Bilosnizhka’, ‘Valuta’ and ‘Tantsivnytsia’ (37–51%), the smallest in ‘Favoryt’ and ‘Bolero’. The biggest number of flowers per one potentially generative bud was formed by plants of ‘Tantsivnytsia’ and ‘Bilosnizhka’ varieties. The lowest level of ovarian loss during the X stage of organogenesis was observed on plants of ‘Valuta’, ‘President’, and ‘Tantsivnytsia’ varieties (41–49%), and the highest - in ‘Favoryt’ variety (up to 83%). More effective realization of potential productivity at the XI stage of organogenesis occurred in plants of ‘President’, ‘Valuta’ and ‘Tantsivnytsia’ varieties; their trees on one potentially generative bud formed - 0.27–0.38 fruits. The coefficient of determination indicates that the influence of meteorological conditions of the year on the passage of III–IV stages of organogenesis is 46%; V–IX stages - 42%; Stage X - 17%; Stage XI - 24%

    The paper presents a method for comparing text documents based on the building and comparison of the corresponding semantic networks. This method can be the basis for building systems for comparing legal documents in the framework of parliamentary control. The algorithm for building semantic networks as one of the types of ontologies is also considered. This algorithm can also be used in systems of automatic abstracting of legal information in order to generate concise information-rich reports, brief annotations or digests. The proposed method can be used in the process of processing queries during information retrieval, providing the ability to determine the degree of similarity or difference in the structure and semantics of texts

    Idasanutlin and navitoclax induce synergistic apoptotic cell death in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia

    T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) is an aggressive hematologic malignancy in which activating mutations in the Notch pathway are thought to contribute to transformation, in part, by activating c-Myc. Increased c-Myc expression induces oncogenic stress that can trigger apoptosis through the MDM2-p53 tumor suppressor pathway. Since the great majority of T-ALL cases carry inactivating mutations upstream in this pathway but maintain wildtype MDM2 and TP53, we hypothesized that T-ALL would be selectively sensitive to MDM2 inhibition. Treatment with idasanutlin, an MDM2 inhibitor, induced only modest apoptosis in T-ALL cells but upregulated the pro-apoptotic BH3 domain genes BAX and BBC3, prompting us to evaluate the combination of idasanutlin with BH3 mimetics. Combination treatment with idasanutlin and navitoclax, a potent Bcl-2/Bcl-xL inhibitor, induces more consistent and potent synergistic killing of T-ALL PDX lines in vitro than venetoclax, a Bcl-2 specific inhibitor. Moreover, a marked synergic response to combination treatment with idasanutlin and navitoclax was seen in vivo in all four T-ALL xenografts tested, with a significant increase in overall survival in the combination treatment group. Collectively, these preclinical data show that the combination of idasanutlin and navitoclax is highly active in T-ALL and may merit consideration in the clinical setting

    The vertex coordinates of the Galaxy's stellar systems according to the Gaia DR3 catalogue

    We present the results of determining the coordinates of the vertices of various stellar systems, the centroids of which are located in the Galactic plane. To do this, the positions, parallaxes, proper motions, and radial velocities of red giants and subgiants contained in the GaiaGaia~DR3 catalogue have been used. When determining the components of the deformation velocity tensors in local coordinate systems, we found the coordinates of the vertices of the stellar systems under study. It turned out that there is a complex dependence of vertex deviations lxyl_{xy} in Galactocentric cylindrical (R,θR, \theta) and Galactic rectangular (X,YX,Y) coordinates. Based on the approach proposed in this paper, heliocentric distances to vertices have been determined for the first time. The results obtained show that in addition to the fact that the angular coordinates of the Galactic center and the vertices of stellar systems do not coincide, their heliocentric distances do not coincide as well. This presumably indicates that there are structures in the Galaxy that noticeably affect its axisymmetry.Comment: 10 pages, 14 figures, 1 table

    Internal Control in the Management of Agricultural Enterprises

    The article allocates the previously unresolved issues regarding the role of internal control as an important factor influencing effective managerial decision-making in the industry. The functioning of new organizational and legal forms of management on the basis of private property necessitates strengthening control over the activities of enterprises both on the part of the State and on the part of owners and labor collectives. Traditional forms and methods of control over the activities of enterprises, formed in the conditions of administrative methods of management of the country’s economy, under current conditions require further improvement in order to harmonize the system of control at the both macro and micro levels. The article elaborates and scientifically substantiates new theoretical foundations and proposals for improving the system of internal control in the management of agricultural enterprises in the conditions of the market economy of Ukraine. The study is aimed at developing effective methods, procedures and instruments that contribute to ensuring the optimal organization of economic activity, increasing the level of control, meeting legislative requirements and stimulating the socioeconomic development of enterprises. It is substantiated that internal control in the management of agricultural enterprises is an integral part of the successful functioning and development of these enterprises. To achieve significant production volumes and optimize costs, it is necessary to have an effective management mechanism and economic mechanism, as well as an improved internal control system
