Constrained Dynamics of Tachyon Field in FRWL Spacetime

context. The proposed extension of the system introducing an auxiliary field in
the minisuperspace framework is discussed. A new equivalent set of constraints

IMPLEMENTATION OF ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS BASED AI CONCEPTS TO THE SMART GRID
ICT and energy are two economic domains that became among the most influential to the growth of modern society. These, in the same time, due to exploitation of natural resources and producing unwanted effects to the environment, represent a kind of menace to the eco system and the human future. Implementation of measures to mitigate these unwanted effects established a new paradigm of production and distribution of electrical energy named smart grid. It relies on many novelties that improve the production, distribution and consumption of electricity among which one of the most important is the ICT. Among the ICT concepts implemented in modern smart grid one recognizes the artificial intelligence and, specifically the artificial neural network. Here, after reviewing the subject and setting the case, we are reporting some of our newest results aiming at broadening the set of tools being offered by ICT to the smart grid. We will describe our result in prediction of electricity demand and characterization of new threats to the security of the ICT that may use the grid as a carrier of the attack. We will use artificial neural networks (ANNs) as a tool in both subjects
Analysis of pollutant emissions of a lorry for different EURO standards and operating conditions
Environmental pollution is becoming an increasingly important problem that needs to be solved, and road vehicles contribution in that pollution is significant. In that sense, in this paper, a brief overview of models used to determine pollutant emissions is given, and then the environmental pollution of an actual lorry with a maximum permissible mass of up to 7.5 t is specifically considered. While determining pollutant emissions different Euro standards, average vehicle speeds, payload utilizations and longitudinal road slopes were taken into account. Emissions of carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) were observed in detail in this paper
Absence of linkage disequilibria between chromosomal arrangements and mtDNA haplotypes in natural populations of Drosophila subobscura from the Balkan Peninsula
The genetic structure of Drosophila subobscura from the Balkan Peninsula was studied with respect to restriction site polymorphism of mitochondrial DNA in populations from the Derventa River Gorge and Sicevo Gorge (Serbia). To investigate the role of cytonuclear interactions in shaping mitochondrial DNA variability in natural populations of this species, the study was complemented with the analysis of linkage disequilibria between mitochondrial haplotypes and chromosomal inversion arrangements. Similar to other populations of D. subobscura, two main haplotypes (I and II) were found, as well as a series of less common ones. The frequencies of haplotypes I and II accounted for 25.8% and 71.0%, respectively, in the population from the Derventa River Gorge, and for 32.4% and 58.1%, respectively, in the population from Sicevo Gorge. One of the haplotypes harbored a large insertion (2.7 kb) in the A+T rich region. The frequency distribution of both haplotypes did not depart from neutrality. Contrary to prior studies, we did not detect any significant linkage disequilibrium between the two most frequent mtDNA haplotypes and any of the chromosomal arrangements in either of the populations. We conclude that linkage disequilibrium is not a general occurrence in natural populations of D. subobscura, and we discuss how transient coadaptations, ecologically specific selective pressures, and demographics could contribute to population-specific patterns of linkage disequilibrium.Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia [173012
