Nilmanifolds with a calibrated G_2-structure
We introduce obstructions to the existence of a calibrated G_2-structure on a
Lie algebra g of dimension seven, not necessarily nilpotent. In particular, we
prove that if there is a Lie algebra epimorphism from g to a six-dimensional
Lie algebra h with kernel contained in the center of g, then h has a symplectic
form. As a consequence, we obtain a classification of the nilpotent Lie
algebras that admit a calibrated G_2-structure.Comment: 21 pages; v2: added some introductory details on G_2 structures in

All gaugings and stable de Sitter in D=7 half-maximal supergravity
We study the general formulation of gauged supergravity in seven dimensions
with sixteen supercharges keeping duality covariance by means of the embedding
tensor formalism. We first classify all inequivalent duality orbits of
consistent deformations. Secondly, we analyse the complete set of critical
points in a systematic way. Interestingly, we find the first examples of stable
de Sitter solutions within a theory with such a large amount of supersymmetry.Comment: 25 pages, 1 figure, 7 table
De retibus socialibus et legibus momenti
Online Social Networks (OSNs) are a cutting edge topic. Almost everybody
--users, marketers, brands, companies, and researchers-- is approaching OSNs to
better understand them and take advantage of their benefits. Maybe one of the
key concepts underlying OSNs is that of influence which is highly related,
although not entirely identical, to those of popularity and centrality.
Influence is, according to Merriam-Webster, "the capacity of causing an effect
in indirect or intangible ways". Hence, in the context of OSNs, it has been
proposed to analyze the clicks received by promoted URLs in order to check for
any positive correlation between the number of visits and different "influence"
scores. Such an evaluation methodology is used in this paper to compare a
number of those techniques with a new method firstly described here. That new
method is a simple and rather elegant solution which tackles with influence in
OSNs by applying a physical metaphor.Comment: Changes made for third revision: Brief description of the dataset

This study follows after one published in this Journal, #30. It is aimed at
finding out the steps followed by children from the province of Sevilla in their process of acquiring oral language and developing their competence in the normative articulation of fricative consonants, from nine/twelve months to six years old. In the first installment the process was studied from nine/twelve months to two years. In this installment, a cross-sectional study, the focus had to be limited to 25, 26, and 27 months of age due to the dramatic increase of the articulatory production of fricative allophones during
those months.
This paper aims to reconstruct the administrative and accounting system used in the Cathedral of Seville during the medieval period. Specially, that one utilized to carry out the economic resources management in the institution. To do this, we will focus on the administrative books, in particular in the Libros de cargo y descargo anual, accounting books written by the officials who were involved in such management: the mayordomos (administrators) and contadores (auditors). We will analyze the codicological and paleographic characteristics of these books. We will try to emphasize the use of cursive scripts whose easy and fast execution allowed to do swiftly the repetitive calculations and the work as light as possible. And finally, to compare these versions, more currentes, with others used in books with very different material characteristics and functions
Analysis of the conflict arising from the visibility of drug-dependent population, spaces of Madrid capital
This text, after an explanation about the “drug problem” and the conflict arising from
this paradigm, explains the uses that certain groups of drug addicts make of some public
spaces of the city of Madrid, to later reflect on the problems produced in they. This can
not be understood from a simplistic approach, so that the analysis of the actors involved
in them is key to understanding them. To this end, we will take into account not only the
drug-dependent population, but also the role played by assistive devices, neighbors and
merchants in the zones. In the final part of the article, we propose the need to generate
new models of intervention, more in line with current reality, based on the participation
of all those agents involved
