De natureza multifatorial, a elevação da pressão arterial resulta da combinação intrincada de fatores genéticos, fisiológicos e ambientais. Diversos estudos epidemiológicos, meta-análises e estudos experimentais confirmam o papel de certos padrões alimentares (DASH e dieta mediterrânica) e de vários nutrientes e fatores dietéticos no desenvolvimento da hipertensão arterial (ou na sua modulação favorável ou desfavorável). As alterações nutricionais podem diminuir a pressão arterial e prevenir o desenvolvimento de hipertensão arterial, com implicações potenciais na morbilidade e mortalidade cardiovascular. Pretende-se sumariar alguns dos fatores dietéticos e nutricionais mais importantes relacionados com a síndrome hipertensiva

The role of immune checkpoint blockade in acute myeloid leukemia

Immune checkpoint inhibition (ICI) has emerged as a therapeutic option for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) for patients that suffer from relapsed or high-risk disease, or patients ineligible for standard therapy. We aimed to study ICI as monotherapy and/or combined therapy (with chemotherapy (QT), for AML patients. The PRISMA statement was used. The literature used comprised clinical trials, randomized controlled trials, and systematic reviews published within the last 7 years. The blockade of CTLA-4 presented a 42% of complete remission within AML. Nivolumab in high-risk AML showed a median recurrence-free survival (RFS) of 8.48 months. The same drug on relapsed hematologic malignancies after allogenic transplantation shows a 1-year OS of 56%. The use of prophylaxis post allogenic transplantation cyclophosphamide (PTCy), following checkpoint inhibition, demonstrated different baseline disease and transplantation characteristics when compared to no-PCTy patients, being 32% and 10%, respectively. CTLA-4 blockage was a worthy therapeutic approach in relapsed hematologic malignancies, presenting long-lasting responses. The approach to AML and myelodysplastic syndrome patients with ICI before allogenic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and the use of a graft-versus-host disease prophylaxis have shown improvement in the transplantation outcomes, and therefore AML treatment.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

Amateur soccer, associativism and Italian immigration in São Paulo in the beginning of the twentieth century: the case of the Anhanguera Athletic Association

En 1928, la Asociación Atlética Anhanguera fue fundada por ítalo-brasileños en São Paulo. Se trataba de una sociedad recreativa que, al margen de los límites urbanos de la ciudad y del universo oficial del fútbol, pasaba a compartir las riberas del Río Tietê para la práctica de este deporte. Fuentes internas del club y la documentación de la prensa deportiva permitieron examinar cómo el fútbol fue vivido por aquellos que habitaban en los barrios populares de São Paulo durante las primeras décadas del siglo XX. Una faceta significativa de esa experiencia fue el asociacionismo, que determinó la organización del deporte popular de la ciudad. Contrario a la práctica oficial y de las élites, organizadas según el modelo centralizador del football association, en el sector aficionado el deporte era vivido como una práctica recreativa de barrio y tenía un carácter colectivo y familiar. De este modo, el fútbol fue asimilado a partir del modelo de una recreación pre-urbana. Expresiones como “amor por la camiseta”, “semillero de talentos” y “fútbol-arte” son algunas de las representaciones que nacieron en este universo. En la década de 1930, estas expresiones sobrepasaron los límites del fútbol aficionado y llegaron a caracterizar el fútbol brasileño. Em 1928, a Associação Atlética Anhanguera foi fundada por ítalo-brasileiros em São Paulo. Tratava-se de uma sociedade recreativa que, à margem dos limites urbanos da cidade e do universo oficial do futebol, passava a compartilhar as várzeas do Rio Tietê para a prática deste esporte. Fontes internas ao clube e vasta documentação da imprensa esportiva permitiram examinar como o futebol foi vivido por aqueles que habitavam os bairros populares de São Paulo durante as primeiras décadas do século XX. Uma faceta significativa dessa experiência foi o associativismo que determinou a organização do esporte popular da cidade. Contrária à prática oficial e de elite, organizadas segundo o modelo centralizador do football association, no setor amador o futebol era vivido como uma prática recreativa de bairro e possuía um caráter coletivo e familiar. Deste modo, o futebol foi assimilado a partir do modelo de uma recreação pré-urbana. Expressões como “amor pela camisa”, “celeiro de craques” e “futebol-arte” são algumas das representações que nasceram neste universo. Na década de 1930, estas expressões ultrapassaram os limites do futebol amador e chegaram a caracterizar o futebol brasileiro. The Anhanguera Athletic Association was founded in 1928 by Italian-Brazilians in the city of São Paulo. It was a club situated in the outskirts of the city and alienated from the world of official soccer, resorting to the banks of the Tietê River for its practice. The analysis of documents belonging to the club as well as specialized media documents made it possible to understand how soccer was experienced by those who lived in the popular neighborhoods of São Paulo in the first decades of the twentieth century. A meaningful feature of this experience was the spirit of association which marked this kind of popular organization of the sport in the city. In opposition to the official and elitist practice – played according to a centralized model linked to football association - the amateur practice was experienced as a collective, local, familiar and recreational practice. Under these conditions soccer practice resembled the model of a pre-urban recreational activity. Expressions such as “love the team uniform”, “nest of talents” and “football-art” owe their origins to this experience. Como se constrói um craque: o caso de Leônidas da Silva

Leônidas da Silva, negro e oriundo do subúrbio carioca foi o primeiro craque do futebol por suas atuações em clubes importantes e na seleção brasileira. Sobre ele circularam imagens em periódicos como O Cruzeiro, sobretudo após sua participação na Copa do Mundo de 1938. Suas imagens revelam que o jogador foi figurado como craque no momento da profissionalização do futebol e do estabelecimento de uma cultura midiática. Além de confirmarem a excelência do jogador e os investimentos feitos pela imprensa, suas fotografias ofereceram visibilidade positiva para pessoas de pele negra. A trajetória de Leônidas transcendeu o campo futebolístico ao dialogar com alguns dos símbolos, valores e práticas do período entre guerras.

Entre o ethos aristocrático e o associativismo: futebol amador e competência esportiva na cidade de São Paulo (1920-1930)

Several urban and sociocultural shifts took place and marked the period 1920- 1930, changing social places, customs and standards of conduct. Football would not be immune to such changes. Two experiences at first glance antagonistic reveal how this instability marked the establishment of sports in the city. Based on documents from Anhanguera Athletic Association and Paulistano Athletic Club – representatives, respectively, of the popular clubs situated on the floodplains of the city and the elite clubs – this article compares moments of the trajectories of the two associations. It outlines the differences in the way each one of them assimilated football and the similarities regarding the criteria they used to refuse modern organization processes such as sports competence. The criteria for this rejection were, however, based on quite different traditions: family associations and mutual help in the case of popular clubs and the aristocratic ethos in the elite clubs. Nevertheless, both forms contributed to the establishment of the idea of amateurism, which has been substantial for the practices and the image of football in São Paulo.Keywords: amateurism, associations, aristocratic ethos, Associação Atlética Anhanguera, Clube Athletico Paulistano.Inúmeras transformações urbanas e socioculturais caracterizaram a cidade de São Paulo no período 1920-1930, modificando lugares sociais, costumes e padrões de conduta. O futebol não ficou imune a tais mudanças. Duas experiências, a princípio antagônicas, revelam como essa instabilidade marcou a formação do campo esportivo na cidade. A partir da documentação interna da Associação Atlética Anhanguera e do Clube Atlético Paulistano, representantes, respectivamente, dos clubes populares varzeanos e dos clubes de elite, o presente artigo compara momentos das trajetórias das duas associações: apresenta as diferenças na forma como se apropriaram do futebol e as semelhanças em sua recusa a modernos critérios de organização como a competência esportiva. Embora tal rejeição tivesse por base tradições muito diferentes: o associativismo familiar e de socorro mútuo, por um lado, e o ethos aristocrático, por outro, ela acabou por contribuir para a formação da ideia de amadorismo, substancial para as práticas e representações do futebol paulistano.Palavras-chave: futebol amador, associativismo, ethos aristocrático, Associação Atlética Anhanguera, Clube Athletico Paulistano
